On the eve of May 9, our school hosted events dedicated to the 72th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

From May 2 to 5, an exhibition of children's drawings devoted to the Great Patriotic War "The Echo of the Distant War - the Memory of the Burning Years" is held.

On May 3 and 4, from grades 1 to 11, activists of the school held a lesson in courage on the theme “Let us bow to those great years”, where students were told about the events of the war, and video clips dedicated to the victory in the Great Patriotic War were shown. Episodes from military everyday life could not leave indifferent children.


The living memory of the war ... It does not fade, does not fade over the years. But is memory really alive? A person can die twice. There, on the battlefield, when a bullet catches up with him. And the second time - in the memory of the people. The second time dying is worse. The second time a man must live! After all, they did everything they could. Modern youth should know and remember all this so that the memory of the Heroes of the Great Patriotic War does not fade. For this purpose, in the framework of preparing events for the celebration of the Great Victory, an action "Immortal Regiment" was held at the school.

During the action, the guys went to the school yard. In the hands of the children were portraits of their great-grandfathers and great-grandmothers. Participants of the «Immortal Regiment’ talked about the exploits of their relatives in the Great Patriotic War.

Victory Day celebration in kindergarten is not a one-time action. This is a whole system of events that organically fit into the educational process of a preschool institution.

In preparation for the holiday on May 9 in kindergarten, you need to introduce children to the heroes of World War II. This can be done during conversations or excursions to the museum, along the streets of the city. Excursions can be carried out with children six to seven years old. At this age, children are already susceptible to information, they have enough attention.

In the process of this relay, children get acquainted with what kind of troops are in the army, with the types of their activities. Before holding the baton, a conversation is held with the children about the types of troops using visual information in the form of demonstration materials.

To show the various branches of the army, you can use dolls from the Pro collection of the Kirov toy factory - Mitya Military, Mitya Sailor, Mitya Border Guard. These dolls are dressed in a stylized military uniform, they have a positive image of a preschool boy, which is very attractive for children. Each relay task is associated with a stylized image of some kind of troops. In each separate task, the winning team is determined, according to the results of all the relay races, the fastest team and the teams that take second and third places are identified. Before each relay task, the teacher helps the children remember what the troops are doing, explains to the children what is the relationship between this task and the proposed type of troops, and clearly and accurately explains the task to the children, not forgetting to make sure that they understood it absolutely correctly. This is necessary so that children do not make mistakes during tasks.

This relay race presents several tasks to choose from.

Before the relay starts, a readiness check is carried out. The facilitator explains that he will beep by whistle and the children must follow the instructions.

Competition "Swamp"

Hoops are laid out on the floor from the start line to the finish line. These are bumps in the swamp. The task of the teams is to run from start to finish, jumping into hoops. You can run back along the “swamp”. If, on the way to the finish line, someone stumbles and gets into the “swamp” from the “bump”, he must start the path again.

By the nature of the game, travel can also be different. A travel game may be dedicated to testing knowledge on a topic; at the stations, children can find out some information, for example, as in our case, concerning the holiday of May 9.

There may also be a different system for passing stations. Teams may have a route sheet where the stations are located. You can visit in this case any currently free stations. The location and order of the stations may be indicated. In this case, the possibility of the accumulation of a large number of teams simultaneously at the same station will be excluded. Names of stations can be indicated in the route sheet, but it is not written where they are. This is possible, for example, if all the stations are in the same room, for example, in the assembly hall. A route sheet is also needed in order to mark in it passed stations or points received at them for completing tasks.

For children of 6-7 years old, for whom a game-trip can be held in the kindergarten on May 9, it is better to indicate the order of passing stations and their location. Well, of course, with each group in this case, an adult must play a travel game in order to exclude various hitches.

The number of people in a team can be from five to seven. The number of stations must either coincide with the number of teams or be one more.

Any travel game necessarily begins with a line or collection of the opening of the game, where the theme of the game is called for the children, the rules are explained. Children are divided into teams, they are given route sheets, they are told where the game-travel stations are, and the game is started.

Children compose quatrains according to the suggested rhymes. Rhymes are given finite, they can be interchanged.

Names can be written on cards, which can be in the soldier's cap, where their teams get it from. Examples of objects and concepts: salute, cannon, soldier, border dog, Victory Day, attack, reconnaissance, and so on.

The Border Quest

In 30 seconds, the team must lay out the “border” line of the cubes. The number of dice is recorded in the route sheet. The team whose line will be longer wins.

The second option for evaluating the completed task: each team is given the same number of cubes. The host at the station detects the stopwatch for how much time the team lays the line "border". The total time for completing the task is entered in the route sheet. The team that laid the line faster than the others wins.

At the end of the travel game, everyone gathers again to take stock and close the game. You can award all the teams in different categories: the most friendly team, the fastest, the most poetic, the most musical, the most knowledgeable, the most dexterous and so on.
