Step-by-step photo lesson:

Download the template and print it on thick paper. Now you can start cutting elements from it. There are 4 of them: a tail, a muzzle, a torso with a head and a small element to add volume.

We start to create a cow from the largest element. Bend all sides along the dotted lines. A small part near the ear should be cut with scissors, up to the vertical dashed line.

We glue all sides of the workpiece to obtain a square body shape.

Now let's add another detail to the face, which will be voluminous. For this, one detail should be prepared. It looks like a white strip with dotted lines. It should be bent along the lines and glued to form a rectangle. Then we put glue on most of the rectangle and lean it against the bottom of the muzzle.

Glue the lower part of the muzzle to the cow's head.

Now you should make the tail of the spotted cow. To do this, take a part and bend it along the dotted line. Apply stationery glue and apply to the back of the body.

So a paper toy in the shape of a cow from a template is ready. Let the glue dry thoroughly and fix all the glued elements together so that the child can play.

Making a cute cow from a disposable plate! Crafting from unnecessary things is not only a way to usefully spend free time with your child, but also an opportunity to teach him to be more attentive and careful about objects that are intended to be thrown away.

In doing so, it is convenient to use various packaging, boxes as well. Alternatively, you can invite your child to make a funny cow.

What you need to prepare in advance for work:

  • two white paper plates;
  • black and yellow paint (black paint can be replaced with shoe polish);
  • brush;
  • white album sheet;
  • black marker;
  • pink and black paper;
  • glue;
  • scissors.

Let's get started.

On one plate, using a brush, apply random strokes with black paint - like spots.

To make the child more interesting, you can use black shoe polish and a brush instead of paint and a brush. The black color will be successfully replaced by brown and orange - with them you will get a cow of a different color.

Paint the second plate yellow. Then we cut off the edges at it, giving them the shape of a cow's horns. You can first cut out the horns, and only then carefully paint them.

While the paint is drying, we are doing other work.

On the album sheet, draw eyes with a black marker: first draw two large black dots, then draw ovals around them.

We paint on the cilia. Cut out the eyes from.

Cut out a circle from pink paper, draw two large dots (nostrils) on it and an arc - a mouth. It turns out a muzzle.

Cut out two oval pointed at the edges - ears from black paper.

We glue the eyes, muzzle, horns and ears to the spotted plate.

The horns and ears can be attached with a stapler for better hold.

This paper cow craft and disposable plates can be another of your child's own farm. She will decorate any courtyard and home.

We will need: 2 large plastic bottles, 4 cardboard tubes from toilet paper, laces for making a tail, cocktail tubes for making an udder, toothpicks, an awl, scissors, a knife, glue, paint, brushes, many old newspapers, scotch tape.

1. The first step is to make the tail. We make a hole in the bottom of the bottle and fasten the string in it. To do this, we pull the lace on the other side through the neck and make a knot that prevents this end of the lace from passing through the hole in the bottom of the bottle. Pull the lace on the other side and cut it in such a way as to ensure the formation of a tail of a given length.

2. Tie a knot on the other side of the lace (not shown in the photo). If necessary, add a wad of crumpled newspaper from the outside of the bottom and secure it with adhesive tape.

The back of a cow in the future will look like this:

3. In this case, a bottle of a special shape was used to make the neck of the cow. However, it is possible to make a cow without a neck. You just have to make a muzzle and ears, and you can also add horns. To make a mouth, you need to cut off the spout of the bottle, then you get a wider hole.

Fold a thick strip of newspaper and twist it along the snail, leaving one end free (do not twist the snail to the end. Fix it with tape and insert the snail with its free end into the hole of the bottle.

4. Let's make ears from another bottle. At the end of each lug, we additionally provide a rectangular protrusion for fixing it in the cut out opening of the bottle. We make 2 cuts in the corresponding places of the bottle and insert the ears into them.

It turns out very "real ears".

This is what the head of the finished cow will look like.

5. The tubing from the toilet paper roll will be used as cow legs.

We make 2 semicircular cuts opposite each other at one end of the tube to be connected to the bottle.

6. Attach the tubes to the bottle with scotch tape.

In the photo you can see how the legs of our cow will look like.

7. We make udders from cocktail tubes. Roll up a small newspaper ball, then form a U-shaped strip from the cocktail tube. We punch 2 holes in the places where the tube is bent. We insert toothpicks through these holes and stick them into a paper ball.

8. If necessary, cut the toothpicks. We make another pair of teats and attach the udder to the body of our cow. The horizontal part of the U-strip will be covered with paper.

9. Now is the time to apply layers of papier-mâché. We will apply 6-7 layers of newspaper, to make each layer we immerse the newspaper in glue mixed with water. For the top layers, use a more concentrated glue mixture and white newspaper margins. At the end, add the eyes, nostrils and other details. We hang a bell on the neck.
