How to make an antique Florentine sachet. Video Master class Craftwork product Casting Florentine paraffin sachet with therapeutic effect Paraffin wax Natural material. Preparation of scented aroma plates

There are still two whole months before the New Year, but it's high time to start preparing small gifts and souvenirs for your family and friends. Wax aroma sachets can be a nice and useful present.

They are easy to make yourself, and the aromas will remind you of your favorite holiday for another 2-3 months.
The most New Year's aromas are primarily the smells of pine needles and tangerines. The second most popular is the aroma of mulled wine: tart notes of wine are intertwined with the freshness of orange and dark velvet of spices. The next places are occupied by ginger-chocolate, nut-almond and apple aromas. This, of course, is not the whole list, because each of us has our own associations of New Year's aromas.
On these associations, we will compose 2 fragrant compositions for sachet:
Pine - Juniper - Mandarin
Orange-cinnamon

1) For coniferous-tangerine sachet we need:
Beeswax
Silicone molds
Pine essential oil
Juniper essential oil
Mandarin essential oil
Pine or spruce twig
Dried Mandarin Peels

1) Cut the wax into small pieces and put it to heat in a water bath.

2) When the wax melts, remove from the bath and add pine, juniper and tangerine essential oils to it. The total percentage of esters should be about 3-8% by weight sachet, but it is worth considering the intensity of the aromas themselves, for example: juniper ether has a rather pungent smell, so it is better to add 3-4 drops.

3) Pour the wax into the mold.

If you do not have a silicone mold, then you can use ordinary plastic containers.

4) We decorate our future sachet with a spruce twig and pieces of peel.

5) When the wax cools down, take out sachet from the mold. You can simply put it in the closet, or you can make a box or envelope with a cut-out window and store it among the linen.

The orange-cinnamon sachet is made according to the same principle as the first. So, the ingredients required for the sachet:
Beeswax
Ground orange peel
Cinnamon sticks
Orange essential oil
Cinnamon essential oil

We put the wax on a water bath. When it melts, add the zest and leave it in the bath for a couple of minutes to "brew" the zest.

Then we remove the wax from the bath, add essential oils, pour it into the mold and decorate. When the wax hardens, but is still warm, gently pierce the sachet through with a toothpick, if you do this later, it may just crack.
Here's what we ended up with.

So that once again on the eve of New Year's holidays not to buy all sorts of trinkets for a presentation, I propose to make unusual, beautiful and, most importantly, practical souvenirs with your own hands.

Florentine Sachet is a natural fragrance based on beeswax and essential oils. Beeswax perfectly retains aromas and does not itself get lost in the sachet. It gives warmth, smells like summer, sun, fields and herbs.

What can you use a wax sachet for?
- a great way to flavor linen in the closet
- if you place aromatic tiles somewhere in the room, you will feel a slight smell of essential oils and wax throughout the room
- Florentine sachet can be used as a decoration for the Christmas tree
- by choosing an invigorating composition of essential oils and placing a sachet on your desktop, you will get a source of good mood and performance
- aromatic tiles with soothing ethers at the head of the bed will help you to quickly relax and sleep peacefully
- such a sachet looks interesting in the car instead of an artificial flavoring.

We need, sachet filler and essential oils.

Sachet filler can serve as dried flowers and herbs, petals and seeds, spices (cloves, cinnamon, star anise), needles, citrus peel.

Sachet molds no need to buy. These can be silicone molds for cookies and muffins, can lids from cans and even plastic mugs.

Manufacturing technology:

1. Melt the beeswax in a water bath. To do this, place a small enamel mug or bowl of wax in a saucepan of water.
The wax will melt faster if you grate it or try to grind it as much as possible.
While the wax is melting, feel free to inhale the aroma of natural beeswax - this is an excellent inhalation for the prevention and treatment of upper respiratory tract inflammations.

2. Once the wax is completely melted, remove the bowl from the water bath and pour the wax into the mold in a thin layer (about 0.5-1 cm)
To prevent the dishes from spoiling, while the remaining wax in the bowl is still warm, wipe the dishes, collecting all the wax with a napkin, the rest will be easy to wash with water.

3. While the wax is still warm, add dried flowers, spices or dry fruits as you like.

4. Don't forget to drop the essential oils. The combination of pine essential oils, orange / tangerine and cinnamon will create a festive mood in the room.

5. Place a cocktail tube in the uncured wax and hold it until the wax "seizes". This is necessary so that the finished tile has a neat round hole through which you can thread the ribbon.

6. Leave the waxed form on a flat surface until it hardens.

7. To quickly and without damage to remove the sachet from the mold, place the mold in the freezer for 20 minutes. After the time has passed, remove the sachet from the mold.

It will be beautiful if you pack the finished sachet in a bag or wrap it in wrapping paper.

And if you put a sachet in a beautiful box, you will get an exquisite original gift.

A wax sachet will retain the aroma of essential oils for 2 to 4 months. Then the warm smell of wax will remain for a long time. You can drip a little of your favorite scent onto the surface and prolong the enjoyment of the unusual scent.
Such a tile can be melted down and, having changed the filler and essential oils, cast again. And you can do this many times.

Florentine sachet for Easter.

The tradition of aromatizing rooms, linen closets, has existed for as long as the civilization itself. In the ancient world, fragrant oils were burned, the floors of medieval castles were lined with fragrant straw. Even today, it is customary to put a bag of lavender or other dried flowers in a wardrobe. We also know from our grandmothers that orange peels or lavender flowers repel moths and smell much nicer than naphthalene. Usually, under the phrase "aromatic sachet" we immediately imagine a bag of herbs, but this is not always the case, in Florence it is customary to hang a wax plate scented with oils in the cabinet.

To create a sachet, we need :

Beeswax (can be replaced with any other);
- stearic acid (optional);
- essential oils or cosmetic fragrances;
- dried flowers and herbs for decoration;
- a container for melting wax;
- suitable molds;
- tubes.

The molds in which we will pour the sachet should be flat and shallow so that it is convenient to decorate the wax plate with dried flowers and it smells fragrant for a long time. It is most convenient to use silicone baking dishes.

For instance. such

Natural waxes hold aromas very well, which is why they are chosen as a base for scented sachets. Wax you can use any

The wax must be melted in a water bath. The mixture can be painted in the shade you want, but note that water-soluble dyes will not work. Wax crayons are great for painting.

for instance , citrus essential oils are very volatile and quickly fade away, therefore they can be added more than other essential oils. We add the aroma composition up to 10% by weight of the waxes. The optimum thickness of the wax plate is 5-6 mm. The sachet freezes very quickly, so we immediately decorate them with dried flowers, spices or herbs, use a tube to make a hole for the ribbon and let the plate freeze completely.

Florentine sachets are wax plates filled with aromatic fillers and essential oils.
The idea captured me completely !!! I didn't have any herbs, I didn't want to buy them at the pharmacy. But there is coffee beans and many different spices and grains! I took lids from tin cans as molds: square lids measuring 7x7 cm, round with a diameter of 10 cm.

In the evening, I cut a half of a small tangerine thinly and took off thin shavings, overnight the slices and zest dried. On paper, I figured out the approximate design of each sachet, so as not to waste time when the wax hardens. I took out my spices: cloves, cardamom, natural vanilla pod, cinnamon, black peppercorns, coffee beans, star anise. In the rosette there is an Indian mixture of Panch Puren (you can google the composition).

To melt the wax, I took a jar of cat canned food (to throw it away later). It turned out to be too small: when adding pieces of wax to the jar, some still fell out and burned ((((I think a small jar of corn would be ideal.

The wax was cut and broken into pieces. Here, by the way, brute masculine strength would be useful (((Honestly, I was tortured to cut wax ((((I would like to do only the creative part. I tried to rub - it's not convenient to put shavings in a jar. Stirred with a wooden stick from ice cream.

I didn't bother with a water bath. I usually melt the wax by putting the jar directly on the fire. But this time the jar was too small, so I took out the divider (in my opinion, I got it from the previous residents of this apartment))))- it was very convenient for me! She carried the jar, taking it by the edge with pliers.

And here are the first difficulties! She poured wax into the lid, put the straw on, and began to lay out the spices. And they take it and drown ... And star anise, and pieces of cinnamon, and a slice of tangerine - all drowned in wax ((((If the plate were transparent - yes, it would be fine! But the wax is dense.

Therefore, I poured the plate in two passes: first, a layer of the substrate half the finished height, the wax hardened, another layer was laid on it and the filler was already laid out on it. If something sank, then not to the bottom, but to the substrate))))

Ready-made sachets of different degrees of wax hardening: at first the wax is light, as it hardens it darkens:

I had a "dirty" unrefined wax, but I also used a part of the refined one: it turned out to be a two-layer sachet))))

Most of all I worried about how I would shake out the ready-made sachets from the lids. But 20 minutes spent in the freezer works wonders !!! Everything was shaken out perfectly. What can not be said about the tubes: some were more or less well taken out, but with some I was tormented (((did not want to pull out (((and I was afraid to break the record if I pressed harder. I did not understand yet how to facilitate the process (((

In a completely frozen form, the sachets look pretty))) I imagined the result a little differently, but I like these too!

Comment!!! Put already cooled and completely tightened sachets in the freezer! As you can see, the sachet on the left cracked ((((I put everything in the freezer at the same time, it was the last one and did not have time to cool down, so it cracked. It's a pity (((I added ground coffee and a lot of coffee beans. I'll have to keep it. I can't give such a copy ((((

By the way, I thought of giving these sachets to my colleagues at work. Although we agree not to give each other anything, the girls still buy some unnecessary dust collectors. Last year I handed out samples from Yves Rocher. And this year it will be real New Year's souvenirs !!! I really hope they like them. (Taking into account two unsuccessful copies, I think to repeat the casting, I will make a few more pieces. I just need to ask someone to break the wax))))))

And the next year I already have an idea to make a sachet with lavender)))

Hello friends! πŸ™‚

Do you love creativity?
What a stupid question, why are you here if not for creativity, right?
Oh, this creative muse! Sometimes in the process of making seemingly ordinary things, the beautiful Fairy of Inspiration does not allow you to make everything too simple, shows your creation from a different angle - and now, you are already carried away by a new idea!

So am I. I decided to make fragrance plates from soy wax with an amazing aroma β€œI really fell in love with him !!!). I got distracted and somewhere "by chance" saw painted gingerbread with animal faces. Drawing inspiration from pastry chefs is my favorite thing. And, of course, I just could not help but give this idea a go!

Wax (Florentine) sachets for aromatization at home were made by hand as always.

Sasha turned out to be very cute. Now, opening the closet, I always smile :))), and this is always worth a lot!

Why do you need fragrant wax plates at all?

They scent rooms, wardrobes, boxes, linen.

Just put a couple of plates in your bedding or towel drawer and they'll smell like your favorite scents.

Sometimes it's great to put such a record in a box with a gift - then when unpacking the donee will be doubly pleased πŸ™‚

Well, there is nothing to do here at all :)))

You will need:

Weigh soy wax

And melt in a water bath. Add perfume ".

Pour into a round shape. Thickness 6-8 mm.

In a slightly hardened wax, outline the contours of the muzzle with a knife.

Carefully remove the cut-out parts

Place in a melting container and add the "bronze" mother-of-pearl.

Fill in the "cheeks" of the muzzle.

If the edges are uneven, you can trim them with a hot spoon.

We warm the spoon

And smooth out the irregularities

We make a depression for the nose with a hot spoon. And we make a spout with a bean.

We make eyes from peppercorns. you can draw cilia cosmetic. pencil.

And we make ears πŸ™‚

I also made holes for the thread with a hot awl so that you can hang the sachet.

And she passed the strings.

Everything is ready! This way you can greatly diversify the look of your sachets. And be sure to involve the kids - they'll love it!

Enjoy your creativity and a fragrant day!
