Description of the object

Vending in translation from English means selling goods and services through a vending machine. Today, this is one of the fastest growing business areas. Especially when it comes to selling coffee and drinks through a vending machine. These products are in constant demand, regardless of the season. The advantage of vending is that the outlet does not need sellers, a counter or a cash register. The machine combines all these functions. You just need to choose a good location and the business will generate income. The machine does not get tired, it works for the entrepreneur 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. She will never cheat, steal proceeds, run away from work ahead of time, or be rude to a client. The most promising places for the installation of coffee machines are auto and railway stations, shopping and entertainment centers, universities, office and business centers, cinemas, fitness centers.

What equipment to choose for business

At the first stage, it is planned to create a small network of vending machines, consisting of 10 machines. For this, coffee machines of the Italian brand Veneto will be purchased. The machine has an impressive design, a self-cleaning program and a large selection of products. The device offers a choice of 8 drinks at once:

 • Coffee with milk;
 • Espresso coffee;
 • Cappuccino;
 • Hot chocolate;
 • Whipped milk;
 • Latte;
 • Mokachino;

Ingredient loading volume includes:

 • Instant coffee - 1.5 kg;
 • Chocolate - 3.1 kg;
 • Milk - 2.2 kg;
 • Sugar - 5.3 kg;
 • Coffee beans - 3.5 kg.

How much can you earn on coffee machines

According to preliminary calculations, the average check will be 25 rubles. Depending on the traffic of the outlet, one machine will sell an average of 80 drinks per day. 10 cars will sell 800 drinks per day, 24,000 per month (30 days).

The expected revenue per month (on average per year) will amount to 600,000 rubles.

Production plan

The vending machines are planned to be installed in local shopping centers, at the university, at the railway station and in two cinemas. The average rent will be 8,000 rubles per month (in the shopping center it will be slightly higher, in the university it will be slightly lower). To service the network of coffee machines, it is planned to employ one operator with a personal car. His responsibilities will include daily control over the operation of machines, timely loading of ingredients and withdrawal of proceeds, caring for the external condition of the machines, and resolving disputes with customers. The salary will be 15 thousand rubles. per month + fuel and lubricants. Possible monthly premiums for overfulfillment of the plan.

Which taxation system to choose for the organization

The organizational form of business will be an ordinary individual entrepreneurship. It is planned to use the simplified tax system as a taxation system. Tax payments will be 15% of the organization's profit per month.

Business risks

In the course of doing this business, the following negative points may arise:

 • Vandalism and theft of equipment;
 • Increased competition, the emergence of large players in the market;
 • Falling demand in the summer time;
 • Equipment breakdown, downtime;
 • Increase in lease payments, decrease in business profitability.

Financial plan

Let's move on to calculating the main indicators of business economic efficiency. The ongoing monthly costs of the vending machine network will include:

 • Rent - 80,000 rubles.
 • Operator's salary - 15,000 rubles.
 • Insurance deductions - 5,000 rubles.
 • Loan payments - 19,725 rubles.
 • Fuels and lubricants - 20,000 rubles.
 • Depreciation - RUB 10,000
 • Other unforeseen expenses - 15,000 rubles.

Total expenses according to the plan will amount to 164,725 rubles. Variable costs

 • Raw materials (sugar, coffee, cups) - 25% of the turnover or 150,000 rubles. per month.

Income

 • Average check - 25 rubles.
 • Number of sales in 24 hours - 800
 • Revenue in 24 hours - 20,000 rubles.
 • Revenue per month - 600,000 rubles.

Hence the profit: 600,000 - 164,725 (fixed costs) - 150,000 (variable costs) = 285,275 rubles. Less taxes (simplified taxation system, 15% of profit), the net profit will be 242,483 rubles per month. The business profitability is 77%. The return on investment, with such indicators, will come in 10 months of work.

Of course, coffee machines are in the greatest demand, perhaps the first of all automated systems that have appeared on the Russian market. The constant interest with him is dictated by the love of Russians for this drink. A cup of delicious aromatic coffee can serve as an excellent start to the working day, as well as a minute of pleasure in the hustle and bustle of daily chores, which is why coffee machines are so in demand in office buildings and shopping centers. Moreover, it should be noted that the quality of coffee produced by a modern machine is sometimes in no way inferior to coffee brewed by a barista.

If you are going to buy a coffee machine on credit, we recommend that you first use the service of our partner - bankir, where you can individually assess the chances of getting it (an individual credit rating is calculated free of charge).

Types of devices

Modern machines assume the use of coffee beans, ground immediately before the preparation of the drink. Moreover, depending on the functions of the machine, it is even possible to set the grind size. In addition, the coffee machine itself can control the water pressure, which makes it possible to brew a drink at an optimal 15 bar. The coffee machines offer a wide range of up to 16 different types of drinks. It can be different types of coffee: espresso, latte, americano, cappuccino, mocaccino, vanilla cappuccino, etc., as well as other types of drinks. For example, a modern coffee machine makes hot chocolate, milk, fruit tea. These drinks are great for children, women, or those who control their blood pressure, which coffee is known to increase.

Equipment

The good thing about coffee machines is that the very procedure for buying freshly brewed coffee or other drink is quite simple and is scheduled step by step. All machines are equipped with coin and bill acceptors. Some modern models have a touch screen and a number of additional options, such as the ability to pay for various services (for example, cellular communication, Internet). Maintenance of a quality coffee machine is not difficult. Modern machines imply a USB port for setting and taking statistics using a regular flash card, in addition, you can connect full online control and monitoring. The loading of quality ingredients depends on the quantity of products sold. Many machines can be loaded with up to 600 cups and two twenty liters of water.

Loading coffee machines with goods

Of course, it is better to entrust the purchase to a professional vending company that has a reputation in the market for these services. There are many models of coffee machines with variations in price categories, depending on the availability of functions and the manufacturer. In addition, the market of vending machines in large cities, especially Moscow, involves the sale of used equipment, the price of which is significantly lower than new. In addition, vending companies specialize in the sale of quality vending machine ingredients and service, which is important for modern fully automated systems.

Coffee machines are exactly the kind of business that gives the service user positive emotions and delight in taste.

Sometimes entrepreneurship can be built on things that simply don't come to mind from the very beginning. For example, a business on coffee machines: how long it takes to pay off, reviews from others by an entrepreneur in this case, what are the risks and disadvantages of the business, as well as other aspects of such a project you are probably interested in.

Coffee is a popular drink, on a par with tea and hot chocolate, because its sale is one of the most profitable. Well, the coffee machine allows you to do it without the participation of a person directly. Let's take a closer look at the coffee project.

Benefits

The undoubted advantages of this project are:

 1. Relatively small investment to start from scratch.
 2. Possibility of opening in a small retail space.
 3. Lack of working personnel as such, the case can be managed independently.
 4. No marketing campaign costs, the coffee machine will become popular almost anywhere.
 5. The ability to move the machine to another location.
 6. Extremely high profitability of the project.

There are some disadvantages to coffee machines as a main source of income. The most obvious of these is intense competition. Vending machines of this type are located almost everywhere, so it is difficult to find a room where you should put your own. The problem is specifically that the most profitable, from a commercial point of view, places are occupied, and for the project to pay off, it is important to look for a suitable premises for a long time.

The second extremely unpleasant minus is the activity of vandals. Of course, recently such people are already extremely rare, although in the regions there are still a sufficient number of them able to open the device without a key. Therefore, it is important that the installation is located in a protected room or in the field of view of surveillance cameras.

We register a business

For legalization, it is enough to register you as an Individual Entrepreneur. This is done with the help of the tax office, where it is also necessary to choose a tax system: UTII or STS.

Personally, as a budding entrepreneur, you should turn to the first system. You don't have to license anything, you just need a quality guarantee for the fillers received from suppliers.

The following documentation is required:

 • Agreement with local government bodies, obtained by any vending machine.
 • SES permission.
 • Fire department permission.
 • Space lease agreement.

We select a suitable place

As mentioned above, before opening, it is important to find a suitable commercial location. The most suitable premises for such trade can be confidently called the following traditional places:

 1. Railway stations, bus stations and other stations of the routes.
 2. Airports.
 3. Hospitals and clinics.
 4. Other government agencies such as social service centers, tax inspectorates, state road inspection offices, etc.
 5. Banks.
 6. Educational institutions - schools, universities, colleges, etc.
 7. Cinemas, theaters and similar recreation centers.
 8. Trade fair centers, markets, wide supermarkets and more.
 9. Business business centers.

Unfortunately, each of these places probably already have their own vending coffee sold, so the search will be quite difficult. Of course, some of the entrepreneurs decide to compete with an already existing machine, and this is also the right approach with proper strategy planning.

Try experimenting: if the vending machine in a given location is inferior in profit to a similar competitor, try to change the product delivery or move the coffee machine to another location.

The lowest prices will almost always be in educational institutions and shops. You can also agree to pay the landlord not a fixed rent, but a percentage of sales, which is extremely beneficial for a novice owner of a coffee machine.

Choosing the model of the machine

It is important to find a quality device that does its job, but not too expensive. It will be possible to purchase both a domestic version and a foreign brand, it is always difficult to understand which model will eventually cope better.

It may be worth investing in a more expensive model that has a good reputation and performs more functions, such as green tea or mulled wine, in order to quickly recoup the business and make more profit in the future.

Try to track the quality of the models located in different places in your city. Some are more efficient and offer more services. Be sure to read reviews on online forums about the model that you want to purchase. Don't get hung up on expensive options and pay attention to the following signs:

 • Are there service centers of this company in your city.
 • Is it important for you to overpay for anti-vandal protection of the device?
 • How long are the warranty periods.
 • How much will the device and its maintenance cost.
 • Is your chosen model widespread in the market and how long has its specific production been around.
 • Which varieties, ground or instant coffee, are used in the manufacture of drinks.
 • How many portions of the drink the coffee machine is ready to dispense before the next refueling.
 • How strong are the technical characteristics of the machine for its price.

Service

It is recommended to replenish the machine once every three days. In the beginning, it is better to ensure its work with frequent presence, because, unfortunately, it is impossible to imagine how well the machine will work. Specifically, the first days affect the further reputation of the place.

Keep the machine clean, for sure there will be dirty coffee smudges or just unpleasant stains. Dirt may well scare off a client, so it is necessary to wipe the device and clean up next to it. From time to time you need to collect the proceeds of the machine.

Also, sometimes you have to fix all sorts of problems with the manufacturer's company, it is them who should be contacted to eliminate breakdowns. It is for the availability of such services that it is important to buy a new, not a used device.

Internal filling

It is important to find really tasty coffee that would be in demand among customers. Therefore, it is worth testing each option yourself. Those working in the vending coffee market have long understood perfectly well that varieties that are classic and have been sold on the market for a long time will be better off. Remember to purchase the following products:

 1. Grain or ground coffee of a couple of varieties.
 2. Black and green teas, as well as fruit flavored teas.
 3. Hot chocolate.
 4. Cocoa.
 5. Filtered water.
 6. Powdered milk powder for additives or hot milk.
 7. Powdered cream.

You will also need disposable cups and stirring spoons. We also need our own fillers, which differ from the store options. Such ingredients are stored longer, have a non-sticky consistency, are capable of not absorbing foreign odors, do not absorb moisture, and dissolve much faster than standard ones.

We select a staff

For a ready-made business, you will need only two employees, and it makes sense to carry out the work of both independently at first. The first vacancy is a manager responsible for the purchase of fillers and other goods, relations with suppliers and similar organizational issues. He must follow the business project, plan its work, identify what is most profitable at the moment, as well as monitor the documentation and money.

You can be in this position permanently. In addition, an employee is needed to maintain the coffee machine itself. He must have a driver's license, it is also important to have knowledge of the city in order to move to different machines.

We calculate expenses

Expense line Cost amount, thousand rubles
1 Rent of space 2
2 Advanced coffee machine 200 x 2
3 Delivery of the device to the place and its installation 2
4 Utilities 1
5 Paperwork 3
6 Purchase of fillers for drinks, sugar and water 5
7 Purchase of cups and other equipment 2
8 Service employee salary 10
9 Tax 3,5
10 Unexpected expenses 10
Total: 436,5

It is not necessary to buy two machines at once, and in this case the amount of expenses will be only 236 thousand, which is really not enough for a business project. Remember, in addition to the start-up capital, you will have to invest monthly, paying taxes, rent and utilities, as well as purchasing some materials and paying salaries.

What is the profitability?

Calculations show that, on average, the cost of one portion of a coffee drink should be 35 rubles, tea - 25 rubles, and cocoa or hot chocolate about 30 rubles per glass.

It may seem that the prices are quite low, but a vending machine in a place with a large flow of people will sell 70-100 portions each, making a monthly profit of 50-120 thousand rubles. The smallest income after paying the costs will bring about 30 thousand rubles of profit. An increase in the number of machines will bring greater profitability, but even one machine can pay off in 7-8 months.

Video: coffee machines as a business.

When my wife and I opened a store of useful things for the home - "Style of taste" in the very center of Kiev and adjusted its work (I told you how this business experiment was carried out online, you can read, starting with this article), I simultaneously got the idea to open vending business selling coffee.

That is, buy a couple of coffee machines, arrange them in highly visited places and institutions (train stations, airports, banks, universities, hospitals, etc.) throughout the city and get rich! After all, selling coffee is a profitable business!

Now coffee in Kiev is not sold only by the lazy (even, there, the politician and entrepreneur Gennady Balashov began to sell it).

There is a coffee machine almost at every step, and young people make coffee for you for a moderate fee of 15-25 hryvnia. It is noteworthy that the average earnings of one such machine is from 1000 hryvnia per day.

That is, if you have 10 cars, then in a day you are at least 10,000 hryvnia in profit. Not bad, isn't it ?! At the same time, of course, you need to pay salaries to young baristas from this money (from 110 hryvnia per day), spend time and gasoline to get to certain areas of the capital.

And if you put a vending coffee machine ?! Nobody needs to pay a salary. They are fully automated. Just add water, milk and coffee! It should be much more economical and profitable!

Moreover, unlike trade from coffee machines (which is illegal in our country), the vending business is absolutely legal!

You register as a private entrepreneur (I already told you how to do this in Ukraine in 2016), conclude an official lease agreement for a place (usually 2-3 meters) with the institution in which you want to install coffee machines, and it's done!

When I wanted to organize this business, I calculated how much profit the coffee machines would bring to us (in theory, good sums came out), and I already heard the pleasant rustle of banknotes in my wallet.

But at some point I gave up on this idea.

Several factors played a role here.

1. Coffee from vending machines is complete crap!

Yes, people are buying. Yes, people make money on this, but the quality of the coffee is terrible! And the first rule of any business is: "Don't sell bullshit to a client!"

Even in the same Snails and other coffee machines, coffee tastes better.

2. Intuition.

I understood how much hemorrhoids this business idea could bring and subconsciously avoided it.

I accidentally met my neighbor in the store. As a child, we played football together in the yard. And it turned out that he owns several vending coffee machines in Kiev.

And I met him at the moment when he arrived at the store to refuel his machines (water, milk, coffee).

We got into a conversation, and I asked the question, how much do these coffee machines bring you profit per month? He honestly admitted that several (2-3) vending coffee machines can bring about 5000 hryvnia of net profit per month.

This amount seemed to me very frivolous. Especially considering the fact that buying one new machine would cost me about $ 1,500. It is much easier for me to put such an amount on a deposit in a bank and not worry about anything at all.

But this was not what confused me most of all (in the end, the more machines you have, the more profit you will receive from them). I was embarrassed by the realization of the sad fact that it takes not just a lot, but a lot of time to take care of coffee machines! Much more than vending machines with other products (chips, chocolates, snacks, etc.).

In coffee machines, not only do you need to add water, milk, sugar and coffee. So also machines often fail by themselves (clogged, freeze, etc.). And the last problem needs to be solved very quickly, because if the machine does not work, you lose profit.

It's good if there is a special person who is watching all this, but he will not work for free either! And if he works for a salary, then, accordingly, your profit will be much less than you expect!

I began to study the problems more deeply, and the more I studied, the less I liked the idea of coffee machines.

In this regard, the life experience described by the entrepreneur Dmitry Shakhov in the book "Me and My Business" is very indicative.

Dmitry, at one time, started a vending business for the sale of coffee with partners. But, unfortunately, I finished it just as quickly. With losses.

“At the end of 2006, another event took place, which did not significantly influence the development of my life and business, but gave a lot of interesting experience.

Back in the middle of the year, I became interested in coffee vending, which had just appeared in the city then. Everything looked very promising in terms of reviews and advertisements.

A cup of coffee cost 2.5-4 rubles, depending on the recipe, and was sold for 7-20 rubles and did not require human participation. Even a primitive arithmetic calculation on a piece of paper showed that this was an extremely profitable business in terms of margin.

The fact that so little attention was paid to the maintenance of coffee machines was not alarming. After all, this is fully automatic and you only need to come to top up water and take off the cash register once every two or three days!

How naive I was then.

It all started with the fact that I was looking for investments and presented the idea to Roman, and he had already invited his classmate Gennady, who already had a car rental service, to dilute our company.

Reflections were short-lived: no one had free money, but all three of them thought the idea was sound and promising. It seemed that we just need to start, and then we will easily increase the number of devices to the minimum in the business plan.

He assumed that the company had ten devices, but we could only find money for two. Gene took out a loan for the first two devices. We bought the third device much later with Roman's money.

And the investment ended there. I found a supplier myself. We wanted indestructible devices with powerful anti-vandal protection. And that was the second mistake. The first was to start this business with just two devices.

The choice fell on the model with a metal cabinet: they ended up being too heavy, weighing almost 200 kg each. Even four loaders with great difficulty could lift them to the second or third floor.

The next mistake was the expected ease of finding a place for rent. I found two locations in my client's home appliance assembly factories. It didn't even cost us a dime. But every refueling trip turned into a real quest: constantly changing security guards regularly detained the one who went to refuel for a check. And our most profitable point was 20 kilometers from the city.

The third point was the institute, where the internal canteen competed well with the apparatus, and the cost of rent ate up all the profits.

From the very beginning, it was difficult to decide who would be engaged in refueling and repairing devices. If I completely took over the purchase and delivery, then I could not master the refueling due to horselessness.

The novel somehow immediately excluded his participation in the work process, and Gena could not always do this. So I had to hire a person - this ate some more of the already low income.

It was also a surprise that poorly operated devices quickly clog up - there is no constant flow of hot water, and frequently used ones fail due to wear of individual units.

For all the time of working with vending, only rare months did without breakdowns. Since I was the only person trained in the repair of devices, we drove out with a refueller and poked around in the insides of the device to the bitter end, sometimes for 2-3 hours on the spot.

Regular operation of each apparatus was extremely necessary: a day of downtime could cost 2-3 thousand rubles of lost profit. And the devices could stop literally from anything.

For example, the bill acceptor was clogged: if the coin acceptor had a ditch for dumping extra coins, then the bill acceptor could only accept two or three hundred pieces of paper.

Or we ran out of water: we ended up buying huge 50-liter cans. Or out of coffee. Or sugar. Or the funnel for draining into the cup is stuck with a mixture and coffee is spilled inside the machine.

Or some problems with the software part of the device. Or the rubber connecting hose is torn. Or problems with the mechanics of the rotor inside the cuvette with the product - sugar or cream.

It's good if users called us. But more often than not, we found out about problems with the devices after the fact, when our refueller got to him and found the bill acceptor practically empty.

Another problem came to light: the machine only brewed properly the special crushed coffee, which had to be ordered from the machine supplier. The price was reasonable, but delivery itself had to wait over two weeks. So I had to learn how to plan the consumption of products for several months in advance - I placed an order immediately 2-3 months in advance.

There was also a problem with a huge amount of little things. At first, the jingle of coins was amusing. But over time, this became a problem. There was nowhere to spend such a quantity of small change, it was difficult to deposit it in the bank, and it was difficult to keep it at home. I still have about five thousand rubles in small coins, some of which stuck together under the influence of pressure and moisture.

At the beginning, any business is more like a fun game until you have to start counting money. It is easy to spend investor investments: you immediately give up any rights to them other than spending on development. But when the starting money runs out, you have to think about what to do next.

Our first unit arrived in February 2007 and went to work in March. At the beginning of the summer, we received and installed the third device. In the best times, they managed to fight back to zero. The rest of the time, vending only took up time and already cost personal money.

There was no question of a return on investment. First, Roman left the business, and then Gena and I decided to wind up vending.

By the fall of 2007, only two out of three machines were working in our country, and one brought almost nothing, and the second was threatened with a shutdown, since the assembly plant was closing, and it seemed impossible to find a second equally profitable place.

And, frankly, I was tired, and Gena wanted to return at least something of what he spent.

Surprisingly, I was lucky to sell the machines to one of my clients: they were planning to somehow arrange the meals for their visitors. According to the results of negotiations, the discount was 50% to the initial cost of the devices, but we agreed anyway. The received amount went to Gennady in full to cover his loan. And the loss was about 9 thousand dollars for each of us.

Analyzing later the results of our vending activities, I saw that every mistake that could be made was made. Since everyone already had their own working and profitable business, he saw in vending only an opportunity for passive capital investment. Instead of working hard and looking for opportunities, we let everything go to chance.

We abandoned the correct and proven business model, hoping to raise additional funds soon. We have not tried to calculate the business based on the minimum number of machines and employee. Before my eyes was only an ideal model with personal employment.

It was a complete failure and defeat on all fronts. It didn't seriously harm any of us, but it did serve as a good click on the nose, hinting that we need to do what we know and do with full force. We even had a chance to quarrel violently, but the general frivolity of vending helped.

In the end, everyone gave up on him so much that his death was more concerned with the oversight organizations than ourselves. The story with the final closure of the vending machine eventually stretched out for almost five years. We couldn't officially close it.

In the end, both of my partners formally sold their shares to the company itself, and I remained a nominee director without a salary. For another four years, my accountant handed in zero reports, until, finally, I received a notification about the deletion from the register of organizations.

While working with coffee machines, I made one useful point for myself: in terms of the level of coffee preparation, a good vending machine is in no way inferior to coffee machines.

I drank dozens of liters of coffee and other drinks derived from it: cappuccino, frappuccino, coffee with milk and so on. There were days when I couldn't even look at another cup of coffee.

But today I calmly and confidently throw coins into other people's vending machines, realizing that the difference can only be in the type of coffee itself.

What can I say. Entrepreneurs don't have a magic button that you can click once to make you rich once and for all. All entrepreneurs are wrong. Everyone has their ups and downs. We, too, when we opened a full-fledged store "Style of taste" with my wife, made mistakes.

Nobody is safe from this. Especially if you don't have relevant experience. And experience, in turn, cannot be acquired in any other way. Unless, of course, you have the opportunity to at least get acquainted with the experience of other people.

Therefore, it is important not to live with only one business. It is important to create so that if one of them temporarily shuts down, others can keep you afloat.

In addition, it is also important here not to despair if something does not work out for you. And do not give up what you started halfway. Get up if you fell. And confidently go towards your goal!

I summarize

If you have an idea of starting your own coffee vending business, weigh the pros and cons, while honestly answering the following questions to yourself:

1. Are you ready to sell bad coffee to your customers?

2. Are you ready to invest to buy more than five to ten coffee machines? (issue price $ 7,500 - $ 15,000).

After all, one or three machines will not bring you anything but disappointment. Plus, if something goes wrong, you can sell these machines at a price lower than what you bought them for.

3. Who will be in charge of filling the vending machines? It will be necessary to add water, milk, cream. Add coffee and sugar.

4. Who will maintain the machines in working order? Automatic machines often fail (especially if they are used) and you cannot do without proper technical support.

5. Are you ready for the fact that, in addition to rent, you will have to pay for the protection of your machines. After all, they are not immune from vandals and burglars.

6. Are you ready to live this business? Every single day. After all, if your eyes don't shine, if you don't do your brainchild every day, it's very difficult to succeed. This, by the way, applies to any business.

7. Think you really need it ?! Are you active enough? Can you solve many problems at the same time? After all, you have to wander around the city like an electric broom. Negotiate with coffee suppliers, landlords, etc.? To spend so much time and effort that you might end up with nothing but disappointment?

These questions, in principle, can also be addressed to those people who dream of opening a vending business selling other goods (chips, snacks, chocolate, etc.). The only difference is that refueling and caring for vending machines that sell chips and snacks will be much faster and easier than vending machines with coffee. And such machines break much less (especially if they are new).

Think, gentlemen and ladies, entrepreneurs! Weigh the pros and cons. Do not get fooled by an emotional impulse: "Vasya did it, so I can do it too!" After all, this is far from a fact.

Well, read the blog could! Especially the Business section.

I have something to tell you.

Vending trade is a very popular type of income for owners and a great way to save time and get a number of essential benefits for the buyer. After all, you just need to press the desired button and insert a certain amount into the bill acceptor, and you can get what you want.

The most popular type of vending machines is coffee machines with coffee beans (or instant coffee), but there are many other vending machines for many types of goods, from chewing gum to souvenirs. Let's take a look at the most popular vending machines that can bring substantial profits to their owner. In this article, we will look at other profitable vending machines.

Coffee machine

Naturally, the most famous type, which we will talk about in more detail. This device will be appropriate in the office, shop and wherever you put it. Even on the street, this unit is installed, and there it is able to provide high profits to its owner.

Another advantage of this device is that it allows you to taste more than a dozen different types of drinks without the intervention of a bartender or barista. Self-service is a very convenient thing, whatever one may say. And yes, the price in Moscow for such coffee is very low.

You can install the vending machine in the following places:

 1. Shopping center. Actually, the easiest way to see coffee machines is there.
 2. Waiting rooms. For example, airports, train stations and other places. The most profitable vending machines are installed there.
 3. Financial institutions. Here you can have coffee while queuing up for rent. Very comfortably.
 4. Schools. Of course, coffee machines are rarely installed in places where children learn. The fact is that this drink is harmful for a small organism. But nobody interferes.
 5. Post office. Here, the benefits are the same as in financial institutions. You just need to buy the device.
 6. Cinemas and other entertainment centers.

The coffee machine itself is priced between $ 1,500 and $ 5,000. The price depends on the functionality of the model, as well as the ability to buy a used coffee machine. Additionally, you need to spend from 150 to 200 dollars for refueling coffee and somewhere the same cost for chocolate and other drinks. The total will be from 1800 dollars of costs, which, in principle, is not so expensive.

As for the payback, the machine will start to bring you profit only after 1-2 years, which, in principle, is normal... Although it all also depends on how many people pass by. In principle, many people love coffee, and therefore it is possible to establish a direct relationship between the number of people passing by and the potential profit. Selling hot aromatic drinks is a very profitable venture.

Snack machine

The business with snack machines in our territory is a relatively new phenomenon. These machines are equipped with refrigerators, and their main task is to sell packaged products. In addition, such machines can sell sweet water, chips and other small products.

Snack machines are divided into the following types:

 1. Conveyor. Such devices get their name from the principle of product delivery. A huge advantage is that they can load any small-sized product.
 2. Spiral. Their essence lies in the fact that first the purchased products are placed in a special tray, and from there they go to the buyer. If the product is fragile (it can break), then a special elevator is intended for this purpose.
 3. Cellular. Everything is simple here - a person takes out all the products he needs from a special cell. Using this method, you can sell a huge number of products, from fruits to cakes.
 4. Mini snacks. This type of snack machine is characterized primarily by its small size. Therefore, it is intended for dispensing tiny products that usually go great with coffee. Therefore, it is recommended to put such vending machines near coffee machines, people like to eat cookies with tea or other warm aromatic drink.

It is impossible to provide exact figures on the payback, because everything depends on many factors: the location of the machine, the goods sold (each has a different price and demand), the economic period (for example, in times of crisis, people are more inclined to save money and not buy little things like chips).

Lensomats

Many people have vision problems, and contact lenses are one possible solution to this problem. Therefore, the installation of lensomats (this is what these devices are called) is a rather promising occupation. The cost of such devices is about 150-200 thousand rubles. It all depends on the brand. The lensomat pays off within 5-8 months if you place the device in the right place. And where can the device be installed?

 1. Shopping and entertainment centers.
 2. Polyclinics.
 3. Schools, universities.
 4. Gyms.

In general, lenses are an expensive product. Therefore, a special infrared sensor detects whether the goods have been dispensed. If this does not happen, then the money is not debited from the client's card. If you can't sell lenses, the device can always be converted into another type of vending machine.

Soda vending machine

The soda water business, despite the fact that the Soviet era is long gone, is still considered a very profitable business with a high return on investment. The cost of a vending machine will be from 75 to 200 thousand rubles.

The price for one glass usually does not exceed 10 rubles. At this price, you will receive 15 thousand per month from one machine if you buy 50 cups. The math is simple. But if you sell carbonated water with syrup at a price of 20 rubles, then the monthly income can be 90,000 rubles, since it is better sold with syrup. Well, of course, net income. That is, you need to subtract taxes, electricity and other expenses from this amount.

Ice cream machines

Another popular type of vending machine is ice cream vending machines. Their advantages are novelty, and hence low competition. Such devices have an interesting way of serving ice cream. The product is delivered with a pump arm, and this process is usually very popular with children.
