Communications group. Announcement of a single brand and development concept for Svyaznoy. Euroset merges with Svyaznoy

Maxim Nogotkov acts as the founder of the network of salons "Svyaznoy". He is a Russian billionaire with a net worth of $1.3 billion according to Forbers. Maxim is also considered the youngest among all the billionaires in our country.

As a result of a competent economic strategy and management actions, the Svyaznoy store has grown to the level of one of the largest retail chains selling mobile devices in the Russian market. Now in the salons and online store "Svyaznoy" there are Cell phones, smartphones, tablets, readers, laptops, all kinds of accessories, contracts of mobile operators, various services and equipment for car owners, as well as selling tours, insurance, money transfers and much more. As a result, for more than 10 years, Svyaznoy has taken its positions in the field of digital goods and services so firmly that it has only one real competitor - Euroset.

Maxim Nogotkov, the head of the company, possessing all the qualities of a leader, has the very business acumen that allows him to earn money. He was born in 1977 in Moscow in the family of an engineer and a doctor. Maxim was the most ordinary child of that era. He was interested in mathematics, he did well in school and wanted to become a programmer later. At the same time, the vein of an entrepreneur in him was completely invisible. However, Maxim has always been distinguished by responsibility and the desire to achieve his goals. Wanting to be independent from his parents at a young age, he began to look for opportunities to earn money. While still a student in the 9th grade, he had already started a business selling copies of computer software.

Then, in 1995, Maxim, together with his three friends, founded the company "Maxus", leaving the university. Having rented a small office on the territory of the plant, they opened several wholesale pavilions at the radio markets. Beginning businessmen were engaged in the trade of telephones, audio players and other equipment. By purchasing electronics in large quantities, they began to sell it at retail. Quite quickly, the turnover of Maxus reached 100 thousand dollars. Seeing such a level of material growth, young entrepreneurs did not regret their abandoned studies at the university.

A promising company has always been aware of new models entering the market. For example, in the late 90s, home radio telephones in the DECT standard came into fashion, thanks to which a contract was signed with Siemens. This step made Maxus a distributor, occupying a good half of the market for similar models in Russia.

Working on such a strategy, Maxus managed to survive the 1998 crisis. Before that, in 1997, Maxim began to feel a lack of higher education, as a result of which he entered MIRBIS. After completing the MBA program for two years, he discovered many new perspectives for himself. As a result, in 2000, the Maxus company took up a new direction in business - mobile phones. This was facilitated by a gradual fall in tariffs for cellular communication and the rapid spread of new and useful wireless technology.

Agreements were signed with a number of leading market players, with the exception of Nokia. The latter at that time ignored the little-known company. At the same time, the beginning of deliveries of cell phones resulted in losses for Maxus in the amount of about 50 thousand dollars. Everyone learns from their mistakes, and, as it turned out, the specifics of selling mobile devices was decidedly different from selling cordless phones. The decline in prices for cell phones on average per month corresponded to the fall in prices for radio phones in a yearly period!

After analyzing its mistakes, Maxus in 2001 reached the position of the leader in terms of wholesale volumes with an annual turnover of more than 100 million dollars. In the same year, the company bought six Artex communication stores for $100,000.

At first, the activity seemed to Maxim uninteresting and unprofitable, because. small turnovers at retail were incomparable with wholesale trade. Nevertheless, he decided to expand the network and already at the end of the summer of 2001, the number outlets increased by eight. They were bought from the Grand Prix network.

At the same time, the creation of a single common network was started, on which Alexey Chebotka, who is the marketing director of the Maximum radio station, worked. The result was the birth of the new Svyaznoy brand in the spring of 2002.

The first network "Svyaznoy" consisted of 81 Moscow stores, breaking ahead of the "Euroset" and "Techmarket", which had a little more than 70 stores.

Further, by 2005, the company set itself the goal of making a turnover of 1.2 billion dollars and expanding the network to 400 points of sale. As a result, the number of Svyaznoy stores increased to 450, but the desired turnover was not achieved.

In mid-2007, the Svyaznoy Club loyalty program was developed and launched. She was bonus system for regular customers. Points could be exchanged for a discount or goods at the time of purchase.

The Svyaznoy online store at http://svyaznoy.ru/ was opened in 2002. However, the sale of goods through the site started only in 2009, when this market segment became quite developed. Now, hundreds of thousands of visitors from all over Russia browse the catalog of Svyaznoy phones every day, making their purchases, including on credit.

The next stage of development was the opening of such a line of activity as Svyaznoy Bank (CJSC) in 2010.

Last year, Svyaznoy's turnover crossed the mark of 500 billion rubles, and sales amounted to over 9 million of various electronic goods.

Federal retail network Svyaznoy is engaged in communications: it offers services mobile operators, Internet providers, portable equipment and accessories. The corporation includes its own online store, operator mobile communications, as well as a project that deals with mobile content.

The network unites several thousand outlets, it offers a huge range of services: from the sale of SIM cards to financial transactions. The brand was first introduced to the market in 2002. Official website of the company http://www.svyaznoy.ru/

In August 2018, I ordered two LG K10 2017 smartphones from the site as a gift to my parents (I chose this model, because I use it myself, I am very satisfied, the phone is good, the battery lasts a long time, the camera is excellent), which should be brought from the warehouse to the store " Svyaznoy" on Station Square in Gomel. They called me and informed me that the phone had arrived, it could be redeemed. Arriving at the store, I clarified about the existing installments that were indicated on the site. The seller said that there are three installments for 3,12,24 months. I decided to take a 2 year loan. He demanded a passport and began to fill in the data, then he reported the total amount of the phone, which was twice the amount indicated on the site. Thank God, before going to the store, I studied all the characteristics of the phone and the price for the phone. Otherwise, I would have been swindled at this stage. I immediately asked why the price doubled, they said that this is all right, the bank charges for processing the payment. After the proceedings, it turned out that this was not an installment plan, but a loan. The seller quietly issued a loan without saying a word about it and lied that they had such an installment plan. I refused such "installment plan". And I decided to pay the amount right away. Then I asked to bring the phone and show me. They themselves did not deign to offer me to look at the phone. There was another deception waiting. The phone didn't look like it did on the website. At first I did not understand, I decided to look specifications and got into the phone settings to see if everything matches. The first thing I looked at was the RAM and I see that the amount of RAM is less than what it should be. I immediately ask why the RAM is smaller and then back BRASS LIES IN THE EYES, that this is all right and some part just goes nowhere. As much as 600 MB of memory simply evaporates, flies into the sky like a white cloud. All my words about the fact that this is not the model that I ordered were not taken seriously, they insisted that everything was correct, until they poked a finger at the assembly number of my phone, which I ordered exactly the same, on the build number on the site (they matched mine) and the build number of what they slipped me. After that, they could no longer say anything, because the build number was different. But nothing, they immediately got out, saying that this was a site error, forgetting about all THEIR LIES. There can be no mistakes on the site, because everything is absolutely correct there, as in my phone and the price is appropriate. But the phone that they tried to shove is much cheaper. I refused the phone and left all emotional, forgetting to pick up my passport. So they have not yet deigned to give me my passport. It’s good that I remembered about my passport on the way home. And came back for him. This is chaos. It's good that I'm tech savvy and I can check. And if my parents and old people who do not understand this would come. They would not just be swindled, they would be robbed of a LARGE AMOUNT of money. How can you lie straight into your eyes? This is dishonesty. People BE VERY CAREFUL when buying any equipment. If you do not understand, DO NOT TRUST THE SELLER, take with you someone who understands.
