Several years ago, I heard a suspicious noise appear when driving a car (VAZ 2115 car). Initially, it was not so loud, but over time, the sound only increased. I had to buy new ones. Although the production of bearings is the same, only before that they worked at least 10 thousand kilometers, and now they have not passed even two thousand. Therefore, I can only sin on lubrication, the vaunted quality did not suit me.
I also liked the quality of Castrol as a whole, so I leave a positive review. The fact that the lubricant really forms a protective layer on the rubbing components is really not a lie. It was tested here not only by me, but also by my friends in the garage. The bearings definitely work like new. And the car is almost ten years old and I have not climbed there for the entire period of its operation. Surprisingly, everything is fine, although I lubricated the bearings three years ago.I also want to share my bitter experience in using LMX. About six months ago I had to replace the CV joint on the car. The so-called specialist at the station recommended that I lubricate it with Castrol. Bottom line: the "grenade" did not work for half a year. First, there was a crackling sound while driving, and not just a sound, but a crackling sound so strong that the whole area could hear me.
