Wow legion professions for a magician. Choosing a profession in WoW. The most successful bundles of professions

1. Take the quest from NPC Parina, which is located at the entrance to the Einhasad temple in Gludin.

2. She sends us to NPC Flame Salamander, which is located in the Ruins of Despire. We fly first to Gludio, then to the ruins. There will be a directional arrow above the character's head, so there should be no problems finding the salamander. The only thing to be wary of: there are aggressive mobs in the ruins, some with good magic resistance, so be careful not to aggro the whole crowd on yourself.

3. Salamander will send us to kill Ratman Warrior (19 lvl) in order to get the Key of Flame from him. The target designator on the map very accurately indicates the location of the mob. As follows from practice, the desired item drops out the first time.

4. Follow the arrow to return to the Flame Salamander and get the Flame Earring.

5. Now you need to find NPC Wind Sylph, its location is indicated on the map by a target designator, and there is also a pointer above the character's head, but you won't be able to go to it just like that from the same ruins, as there are a lot of mountains and ravines on the way, along who cannot get up and will have to go around it all, making a huge loop. The best option would be to make SoE in Gludin, from there teleport to Forgotten Temle, and run from the cave on foot through the Wasteland. To do this, go up the mountain, under which there is a cave, jump into the Wasteland, run up the map to the exit from the location until the first turn to the right. The road is not marked on the game map, but this is how we get to Wind Sylph. For convenience, I have drawn a path on the map.

6. We talk with Wind Sylph, she asks to take the Broken Bronze Mirror to the Wasteland NPC Lizardman of the Wasteland. Its location is also marked with a target designator on the map. The shortest way to it is to run the same way as you came to the mark on the map. Beware, along the way you will find several aggressive mobs of level 31, they can be carefully bypassed, although if the character is in devolution with a top shop gun, with nipples and under the Newbie Helper buff, these mobs are quite easy to kill.

7. Talk to the Lizardman of the Wasteland, obtain Wind Feather and return to Wind Sylph in the same way.

8. Talk to Wind Sylph again, get Wind Bangle and another target designator.

9. Now we need to find Water Undine. The fastest will be from Gludin to teleport to Abandoned Camp and, without entering the camp, run along the roads towards the sign on the map. On the way to Water Undine, we will meet the quest mobs Water Seer (17 * lvl), they are what we will need for this task. For convenience, I have drawn the path from Abandoned Camp to NPC Water Undine on the map.

10. Talk to Water Undine, get Rama's Diary and the task to kill the Water Seer (17 * lvl) to get 2 Sparkle Pebble. We saw the mobs when we ran here, if you didn't see, then you just need to swim across the lake.

11. Bumping mobs, we get the necessary items.

12. Return to the Water Undine, hand over the items, obtain the Water Necklace and the next target designator.

13. We fly to Gludio, from there to the Ruins of Agony. You will have to run through the ruins, fighting off mobs (or walk along the mountain). The target designator will lead us to the NPC Earth Snake. What is noteworthy, this mob is not particularly similar to a snake, although, who knows what they are, earth snakes. We speak with him and get Rust Gold Coin, as well as the task to knock out Red Soil.

14. We run along the pointer on the map, at the marked point we find the Red Bear mobs (14 lvl), knock out the Red Soil from it.

15. We return to Earth Snake, talk to him, in return we get Earth Ring.

Quest walkthrough

 1. Talk with Parinastanding at the entrance to the Einhasad Temple in Gludin Village.
 2. Go to Ruins of despair south of Town of Gludio and (level 19) talk to Flame Salamander... He is somewhere in the area where most Zombie soldier (Soldier Zombie) (Level 19) , Zombie Warrior(Level 22) , Ruin Bat ( Bat Ruins)(Level 20) and Ruin Imp Elder(Level 21).
 3. You need to return the stolen spider Key of Flame... Kill Ratman warrior (Ratman Warrior) (Level 19) west of the ruins. Return the key Flame Salamanderand he will give you Flame earring.
 4. Talk with Wind sylph what's east of Gludin Village, somewhere in the area of the entrance to Wasteland... She will give you Broken Bronze Mirror and asks to bring her something.
 5. IN Wastelandfind Wasteland lizardman and give him a mirror, and in return you will receive Wind feather... Take the feather to Wind sylphand she will give you Wind bangle... All the monsters in Wastelandabove level 20 and aggressive, so be careful.
 6. Go to Fellmere Lake northeast of Gludin Village, look there Water undine and talk to him. He wants you to kill Quest Monster Water Seer (Level 17) living on the other side of the river. Kill these mobs until you have 2 Sparkle Pebbleand then take them Water undine... He will give you Water Necklace.
 7. Go to Ruins of agony west of Town of Gludio, find there Earth snake and talk to him. He will give you Rust Gold Coin and asks to bring Red soilthat can be removed from the killed Red bear (Red Bear) (Level 14). Bears can be found in the hills south of the ruins.
 8. Take Red soil to Earth snake and get Earth ring.
 9. Having collected Flame Earring, Wind Bangle, Water Necklaceand Earth ring, go back to Gludin Village and talk to Parina... She will take things and give it to you Bead of Season.
 10. Talk with High priestess levian in the temple Einhasad, to become Wizard‘Ohm (having previously pumped up to lvl 20).

I must say right away that this is the dumbest and most boring quest for the first professional of all.

The quest is taken at level 19 from Parina, which stands in the dressing room of the Einhasad temple in the village of Gludin.

Trapped in the Ruins of Despair from Gludio, looking for an NPC Flame Salamander.
Kill the Ratman Warrior mob until you get the Key of Flame. We hand over the item, we get the Flame Earring.

We run out of Gludin through the eastern gate, run towards Wasteland, looking for a quest mob Wind sylph No, we don't run out, I changed my mind. Tpsim in, and we run towards the pimp on the map, there will be a cliff near the road, we jump down and go down, next to the pimp there will be a passage to a green meadow, there is an NPC. By the way, we will run past the Lizardman of the Wasteland NPC, remember the place, we will need to come here too. Obtained from Wind Sylph as Broken Bronze Mirror.

We are looking for a quest mob in Wasteland Lizardman of the wasteland, return the mirror, get the Wind Feather, assign it back to the Wind Sylph, get the Wind Bangel.

From Gludin we run out through the north-western gate, we run towards the Fellmere Harvesting Grounds, next to the lakes we are looking for the NPC Water undine, kill quest mobs Water Seer (look for them across the lake), get items, hand over, get Water Necklace. By the way, when I was running this quest, I ended up in Fellmere Harvesting Grounds, I had to run far, I had to try through Abandoned Kemp.

Trapped in the Ruins of Argony from Gludio, we run through all the ruins, there at the end we are looking for an NPC Earth snake, we beat the Red Bear mobs northwest of the loka (the bears stand exactly at the teleport point in Fellmere Harvesting Grounds), knock out the item Red Soil, hand over it, get the Earth Ring.

We return to Gludin to Parina, hand over all items and get a stamp Bead of Season.

We hand over the stamp High Priestess Levian in the temple of Gludin and change the profession to Human wizard.

No, after all, this is not the most boring quest).

As soon as you get to level 35, Sorki go to do quests for the second prof.

Warrior (Fighter)

The Warrior is the starting class of fighters for the human race. The warrior specializes in the use of various types of weapons and armor. He possesses high indicators of strength and dexterity - with equal success he can enter into close combat and attack the enemy from a distance.

Base stats War

STR DEX CON INT WIT MEN

Knight

The knights acquired their knowledge through numerous training sessions at the royal training grounds. Most of all, they value their honor and, if necessary, the Knights are ready to die for their territory and their King. This class specializes in melee and defense. The Knight's skills in this area are excellent, and the ability to heal their wounds allows them to prolong resistance to enemy blows.

Dark Avenger

Anger and hatred are the eternal companions of the one who chose the path of the Avenger. This class is the complete opposite of the Paladin. He is trained to save the lives of allies, and the Avenger is perfectly able to take it away. The cursed armor of the Avenger is able to return damage to enemies, and the use of black magic helps him absorb the life force of the enemy and summon the dark panther for help.

Hell Knight

The Knights of Hell are the real focus of evil and horror. They resort to black magic and strike fear into the hearts of enemies. The Hell Knight is the highest stage of the Avenger's development, allowing access to new, previously inaccessible combat skills.

Paladin

Only one of the Knights who carries the True Faith in his soul is able to become a Paladin. Using Divine powers, Paladins can heal their wounds and consecrate weapons and armor. This makes them indispensable in the fight against the Undead. Thanks to durable armor, Paladins can easily withstand a hail of enemy blows, and they use the shield not only for protection, but also to stun the enemy.

Phoenix Knight

Few of the Paladins are capable of becoming the Phoenix Knight, bringing light and True Faith to the most remote corners of this world. However, the one who was able to withstand all the trials is rewarded with new exceptional skills, including the ability, like the Phoenix bird, to cheat death by rising from the dead.

Warrior

A Warrior is a more experienced Warrior who relies on his physical strength. Warriors value freedom and independence most of all, so they do not recognize commanders, believing that it is necessary to fight only for themselves. They are great with swords - almost all of their skills are based on the use of this particular type of weapon. Warriors are able to concentrate in order to increase their offensive abilities and more effectively deal with monsters.

Spearman (Warlord)

Spears and lances are what the Spearmen use in battle. Their strength allows them to inflict crushing blows on the enemy, and the ability to attack multiple targets at once can lead the Spearman to victory in the most hopeless situations. This class is most effective in wall-to-wall battles, as well as in castle sieges.

Dreadnought

Generals rightfully bear the title of great fighters - no one else can masterfully handle polearms like that. Every Warlord dreams of getting it one day honorary title, because the Generals are taught special techniques that significantly increase their combat power.

Gladiator

If you see a warrior who firmly squeezes a sword in each hand, you should know that you are facing one of the most dangerous opponents, Gladiator. It is the only class to have achieved unprecedented heights in the use of two swords. He is trained in numerous techniques that allow him to attack the enemy most effectively at high speed.

Duelist

Duelist - unsurpassed masters of combat with two swords. Only the most persistent and strong of Gladiators are awarded the right to become a Duelist. As a reward, they receive increased resistance to curses and diseases, as well as new combat skills that allow them to fight opponents even more effectively.

Rogue

Rogues are fighters who chose agility over strength. They believe that the end justifies the means and do not hesitate to use the dirtiest methods for the sake of victory. Rogues cannot stand it when something hinders their movements and therefore use comfortable light armor, daggers and bows. This class makes excellent spies and scouts. Fighting monsters alone can be risky for the Rogue - a small amount of health and weak defense indicators do not allow him to attack strong enemies, so for a more comfortable game you need to find allies.

Treasure Hunter

To move silently and quickly, to strike accurately and deadly - this is how the Treasure Seeker prefers to act. Among Humans, he has no equal in his skill with daggers, and his speed of attack and ability to avoid blows is amazing. Walking on the razor's edge, balancing between life and death for him is a common thing, because the Treasure Hunter is a real darling of fate, entirely dependent on chance.

Adventurer

Adventurers are vagabonds who have long exchanged the warmth of the hearth for the dust of the roads. However, if for Treasure Hunters travel is a way to make money, then for Adventurers roads are a way of life. They are still loyal to their dagger, but their attacking abilities have increased significantly.

Shooter (Hawkeye)

Many warriors avoid close combat, preferring to attack the enemy from afar. These fighters include the Shooter - a master of ranged attacks. He is able to stun with several blows and then destroy the enemy. The Shooter is also trained in special skills that help him focus on the target, which allows him to more effectively deal with enemies.

Sniper (Sagittarius)

Snipers are the strongest, sharpest and most accurate marksmen of the human race, who have earned this title in numerous battles and tournaments. Only Snipers have the ability to learn special combat skills not available to Riflemen.

Mystic

Only Mystics can draw energy from the world around them, changing matter with the power of their thoughts. They use special magic weapons. Using their magical powers, the Mystics are able to summon magical creatures, heal wounds and attack the enemy with destructive spells.

Basic stats of the Mystic

STR DEX CON INT WIT MEN

Cleric

Clerics are mystics who use the sacred power of the Gods to perform miracles. They belong to religious organizations or are themselves itinerant preachers. Basically, their magic is aimed at helping other players. Clerics have chosen light magic as the main focus of their profession. They are trained to heal allies and increase their characteristics, are able to restore their health, so they can do without helpers. While playing on their own, Clerics can equip light or heavy armor, pick up melee weapons, and become stronger using spells, but they are not very effective fighters.

Bishop

Bishops are excellent healers. They are capable of turning a dying character into a fighter full of strength in a few moments. Bishops are also excellent Undead hunters. They have a variety of spells in their arsenal that can immobilize the enemy, instill fear and cause damage. If the Bishop allowed the death of an ally, he can resurrect him by returning a certain amount of experience.

Cardinal

Using divine power, the Cardinals are able to work wonders, pulling out entire groups of players from the grips of death. In restoring vitality, they are far superior to their predecessors, the Bishops. But getting the title of Cardinal is not easy, only the most patient and persistent can achieve this goal.

Prophet

Not a single group can do without it, because only the Preacher has the unique ability to apply auras that increase the characteristics of allies. His help will be useful to both warriors and magicians. In addition, the Preacher can always use armor and melee weapons if he has to hunt monsters alone.

Apostle (Hierophant)

In the difficult task of supporting companions-in-arms, the Apostles have far surpassed the Preachers - only they have the opportunity to empower the characters with the strength of ancient warriors, making them stronger and more enduring. Also, this class learned to use magic that removes positive auras from enemies, thereby, weakening opponents.

Mage (Wizard)

In their spells, Mages rely on the energy of the four elements, as well as the power of Light and Darkness. Most of them are trained in the Ivory Tower, just like hundreds of years ago. Mages are able to command the elements, they are well versed in black magic and magic of summoning.

Sorcerer

Of the four elements, Wizards give preference to Fire - it is with its help that they destroy their enemies. Focusing on attack, Wizards do not spare magical energy, completely dissolving in the flames of battle, so they often need someone who is able to distract the attention of enemies.

Archimage

Days and nights spent in the Ivory Tower reading books are not wasted for Wizards - practicing and improving their skills, they can claim the right to be called Archmages and use more destructive magic.

Necromancer

Having rejected the existing magical schools, the Necromancers chose their own path - the path of Darkness. With the help of black magic, it costs them nothing to summon one of the devilish creatures of this universe into the servants, and various curses can weaken, and even deprive the enemy of the opportunity to resist.

Soultaker

Soul Eaters are Necromancers who are dedicated to their cause and work tirelessly to improve their skills. Masters of black magic, Masters of Darkness, leaders of the dead - they make enemies tremble, one mention of a Soul Eater can make the enemy flee.

Warlock

Many underestimate the Sorcerers, considering them to be their minions own creations, however, a duel with them quickly refutes this myth. Sorcerers specialize in controlling the summoned creatures - they can heal and increase their characteristics, they also have the ability to create paralyzing and attacking Cuban enemies.

Warlock (Arcana Lord)

The title of Warlock is given to Warlocks who have reached heights in their profession and are ready to move on. They are taught new spells, including summoning yet another creature, stronger and more resilient than the previous ones.

List of the best pre-raid mage gear in WoW Classic -.

1. Introduction

After the Cataclysm, the character leveling process has become much easier. The game now has tasks that can be taken when entering the game. Characters issuing tasks in the usual way are now located much more conveniently than in the classics, and the entire history of the location unfolds in stages and logically. Before the Cataclysm, things were different.

WoW Classic lacks the usual "clusters" of tasks in large cities, and some storylines can only be discovered by chance. Even if you complete all tasks in a location of a suitable level, this does not guarantee you enough experience to move to the next location. It is quite possible that you will have to get the missing experience by killing the first monsters that caught your eye.

In this guide, we will talk exclusively about the representatives of the class and about the methods of leveling up to level 60 that are optimal for this class. The author of the guide has pumped several magicians during the time of the classics and can confidently say that this is a great class - both for pumping and for mastering high-level content. If you haven't played the original game and you like spellcasters, pick a mage and you won't go wrong.

2. Changes in the process of completing tasks

If you have not played the classics, you should know that the process of completing tasks in it is very different from that in BfA and previous BfA expansions:

 • Characters issuing quests and the objectives of the quests themselves are not displayed on the map. You will have to explore the world on your own. If you are unsure of where to run and what to do, read the mission text or visit a third-party site for tips from other players. Most likely, add-ons will appear in the future to make it easier to level up, but it is worth remembering that this independent research is an integral part of the classic version of WoW.
 • You will come across very strong opponents. Mages can deal with several monsters at the same time, which is unusual for a classic in itself. Nevertheless, you will probably notice that monsters will hit you harder when leveling up than in the current version of the game.
 • Completing all tasks in a location does not guarantee you the level required to move to another location. If you played later versions of the game (for example, in BfA), you probably have certain expectations regarding the amount of experience that can be obtained for tasks in a particular location (for example, when you go through the entire storyline in Vol "dun, you can get two levels In WoW Classic, you will inevitably have to go through all locations designed for the same level range.

3. Where is the best place to swing the Mage in WoW Classic?

Finding suitable tasks is an adventure in itself, but if you are looking for an easy way, we offer you a list of the most profitable locations for pumping (for both factions):

Alliance only

 • Darkshore (11-19): After completing tasks in the starting location of your race, you can choose the next destination to your liking. For the Alliance, the most profitable low-level location is Darkshore.
 • Loch Modan (10-18): Loch Modan is located in the heart of the Eastern Kingdoms, and therefore is more suitable for dwarves and gnomes. There are fewer quests in Loch Modan than in Darkshore, but they provide a sufficient amount of experience. If you wish, you can return to Loch Modan at higher levels.
 • Westfall (9-18): Some players think that Westfall is a difficult location, and are in no hurry to complete tasks there. However, if you're playing with friends and want to visit a low-level dungeon, head to Westfall and take a look at the Deadmines.
 • Redridge Mountains (15-25): This location is not rich in tasks, so you will have to gain experience in another location designed for the same level. Be sure to plan your route in advance.
 • Duskwood (10-30): This is one of the most popular locations in WoW. It has a lot of tasks with a curious plot. If you play as the Alliance, be sure to check it out.
 • Wetlands (20-30): This is the last location exclusively for the Alliance. Next, you will have to go to the contested territory.

Horde only

 • Steppe (10-33): This is a very large area where three of the four races of the Horde meet. In the Barrens, you can easily pump up to level 20. Get ready to compete for monsters and resources.
 • Serebryany Bor (10-20): Silverpine Forest is a kind of Barrens for the Forsaken. There is interesting tasks, however, after the Steppes, few people come here.
 • Stonetalon Mountains (15-25): The location is considered Horde, but there are tasks for the Alliance as well. Clawed Mountains are located near the Barrens, and the level ranges in these locations overlap.

Contested locations

 • Hillsbrad Foothills (20-31): In the Hillsbrad Foothills is the infamous Tarren Mill, the main battleground between the Horde and the Alliance.
 • Ashenvale (19-30): This is another location where two factions meet. The famous battlefield, Warsong Gulch is located here.
 • Thousand Needles (24-35): Thousand Needles is another location that is significant for players. Horde players can find quests in the Shimmering Plain.
 • Stranglethorn Vale (30-50) has the largest range of levels for pumping (from 30 to 50).
 • Wasteland (30-39): The Desolace contains the Maraudon dungeon, as well as NPC settlements with quests for Horde and Alliance players.
 • Arathi Highlands (30-40): This area has another battleground, Arathi Basin. There are also missions for the Horde and the Alliance.
 • Badlands (36-45): This location is primarily intended for Horde players. If you are playing with friends, you can go to the Uldaman dungeon.
 • Tanaris (40-50): There is another dungeon in Tanaris, Zul "Farrak, where you can complete tasks with good rewards.
 • Feralas (41-60): This is a very popular location. Players from both factions usually arrive there at level 40.
 • Searing Gorge (43-56): In Searing Gorge, you can feel the spirit of the first raid by looking at the monumental Black Mountain. Quests for both factions are given by the Thorium Brotherhood.
 • Burning Steppes (50-59): The Burning Steppes are located on the other side of Blackrock Mountain. This is another location with a wide range of levels, with Horde and Alliance settlements, as well as quests leading to the dungeon.
 • Felwood (47-54): This is a location with a great history. In addition, here you can get the Cenarion Lighthouse, which is required for farming Whiproot Fruit and similar consumables.
 • Crater Un "Goro (48-55): A very popular location with a lot of tasks, in which you can take a couple more levels.
 • Western Plaguelands (46-57): Location with a lot of tasks for fast leveling. We especially recommend that you deal with the destruction of boilers. Pre-take the introductory quest in the capital of your faction.
 • Eastern Plaguelands (54-59): In the Eastern Plaguelands, there is the legendary Naxxramas, which you can look at when leveling up. Players of the maximum level are often found here.
 • Winterspring (55-60): This is a great location with a lot of tasks and experience. Including here you can take the task Mau "ari's Treasure, which allows you to farm consumables for raids.

4. Build for leveling the Mage

 •
Ice" is best specialization for pumping. It allows you to deal strong damage and gives access to various auxiliary abilities. You can choose a build that fits your usual playstyle (including AoE grind). Below is a PvP build for AoE.
 • AoE build: The AoE build involves leveling up by killing groups of monsters with spells such as Blizzard, Arcane Explosion, Ice Nova and Cone of Cold. The combination of these abilities allows you to kill three to four monsters at a time and gain more experience than the standard killing of individual targets with Ice Arrow.

First of all, you need to invest 31 talent in the "Ice" branch, and take the remaining talents (after level 50) from the "Arcane" branch.

"Ice" (up to level 50)

 • Tier 1: Invest three points in Elemental Accuracy to hit enemies more often with spells. Then invest two points in Improved Ice Arrow and move on to Tier 2.
 • Tier 2: Invest three points in Permafrost and two points in an Improved Ice Ring. Both talents provide additional opportunities for controlling opponents.
 • Tier 3: Invest three points into Improved Blizzard (this talent will come in handy in AoE grind), and then grab Cold Grip (this is a great cooldown for PvE and PvP). Finally, put one point on Piercing Ice. This talent will give you a damage bonus.
 • Tier 4: On the fourth tier, start with three points in Focused Power of Ice to reduce the mana cost of your spells. Then put two points into Ice Limit. This talent is believed to improve overall quality of life.
 • Tier 5: Take the Ice Block, three points in the Improved Cone of Cold, and another point in the Piercing Ice. If you are a frequent PvP player, start with a block, but if you are playing on a PvE server, look for talents with damage bonuses first.
 • Tier 6: At the top rank of Ice Piercing, then invest four points in Ice Shards.
 • Tier 7: Take the last talent of the tree, Ice Barrier.
 • Tier 8: In the Arcane branch, invest two points in Masterful Enchantments and three points in Concentrated Enchantments. Both talents affect the likelihood of spells hitting opponents.
 • Tier 9: Invest five points in Arcane Focus to use your mana more efficiently.

By this time, you will reach level 50, so the further choice of talents will affect the pumping process only slightly. Further development of the character is described in the next tab ("Ice" 51-60).

"Ice" 51-60

 • Ice: Go back to the Ice tree and put the remaining point in Ice Shards, then take the maximum rank of Icing. This will allow you to deal more explosive damage.
 • Arcane magic: In the Arcane branch, get Arcane Resilience and the remaining ranks of Focus of Spells. The last points are not important at all, since at level 60 you will still have to reset them. Distribute them however you like.

5. What are the buying abilities?

Many players feel that they should learn every spell the class trainer offers them, but this is not the case. It is very expensive to pay for all abilities to one. Instead, we recommend that you buy only the most needed abilities and only at certain levels. This will save you a lot of money and time on traveling from locations to the capital. Below are the abilities and levels at which we recommend visiting a trainer.

 • Frostbolt: This spell is used to deal damage to a single target. It can be trained at the following levels: 8, 14, 20, 26, 32, 38, 44, 50 and 56.
 • Ice Nova: The spell is used to control grouped opponents. It can be trained at the following levels: 10, 26, 40 and 54.
 • Arcane Intellect: A class-based enhancement spell that increases maximum mana. It can be trained at the following levels: 14, 28, 42 and 56.
 • Arcane Explosion: The main spell for dealing AoE damage. Use Rank 1 Arcane Explosion to trigger Clarity of Thought. It can be trained at the following levels: 14, 22, 30, 38, 46 and 54.
 • Blizzard: An effective AoE damage spell. It can be trained at the following levels: 20, 28, 36, 44, 52 and 60.
 • Cone of Cold: An instant AoE spell that slows enemies down. It can be trained at the following levels: 26, 34, 42, 50 and 58.

If you wish, you can also learn other spells for pumping - for example, Conjure Water, Surge Power and Blink. However, they are optional, and if you ditch them, it will be easier for you to buy vehicles at level 40.

6. Rotation for leveling Mage in WoW Classic

 • Constantly support your Arcane Intellect on yourself and your allies.
 • In the first levels, kill monsters with Ice Arrow.
 • You can also use Fireball, but only until you receive talents that enhance Ice Arrow.
 • Arcane Explosion is a very important AoE spell. If you want the Clarity of Thought effect, trigger it with a Rank 1 Explosion to conserve mana.
 • Use Ice Nova to control grouped opponents.
 • Cone of Cold can be applied to frozen foes for guaranteed critical hits. Also, Cone is sometimes used as a regular instant AoE spell that slows down opponents.
 • If you are far away from opponents and nothing threatens your life, use Blizzard to deal AoE damage. This spell is the most efficient in terms of mana consumption.

7. Weapon skill

In WoW Classic, weapon skills that provide maximum damage from a certain type of weapon must be studied and pumped on purpose.

By default, each character can use a specific type of weapon. To learn how to use a new type of weapon, you need to visit a special trainer. Below is information about the types of weapons available to different races of magicians.

8. Equipment for pumping

Unlike melee characters, mages do not rely too heavily on their weapons and do not require specific items. If you are going to replace an item of equipment, make sure that the new item gives you more useful stats than the previous one. The priority of characteristics for pumping is presented below.

Feature Priority:

Spell Power> Spirit = Intellect> Endurance

 • Spell Power: This characteristic is rarely found on items designed for intermediate character levels, but if you managed to get such an item, be sure to wear it.
 • Spirit: speeds up the process of replenishing health outside of combat and shortens the intervals between battles. Spirit items are of great benefit to trolls due to their racial ability Regeneration.
 • Intelligence: increases your critical strike rating and increases your maximum mana.

10. Professions for mage in WoW Classic

Certain professions give the Mage a certain advantage - for example, Engineering and Tailoring. These professions allow the Mage to create equipment that simplifies pumping, as well as some items to prepare for raids, for example:

 • Green Lens (with Frost Damage Bonus) - Engineering
 • Robe of the Archmage - Tailoring

Engineering allows you to create bombs that can be used in both PvP and PvE. Fabric for Tailoring is dropped from a variety of monsters, including dungeons. Snowstorm to escape death. Coarse Thread is crafted through leatherworking. Requires Leatherworking skill 40 and a recipe

16. Conclusion

 • WoW has changed a lot over the years. If you've played the later versions of the game, you'll probably find that WoW Classic is unfriendly to players in several ways. The objectives of the tasks and the necessary NPCs are not displayed on the map, and they must be searched manually. The tasks do not have the usual logic, and they are not enough for comfortable pumping. Also, the game lacks the mechanics of collecting loot from several monsters at the same time, and items for tasks take up space in bags. Ability cooldowns are huge, some classes lack healing abilities, and monsters hit so hard that after each of them you have to eat or drink, use potions or bandages. In short, players have to plan and optimize their actions to level up quickly.
 • Swing into the Ice Specialization! It has talents that increase AoE damage and allow you to quickly gain experience for killing monsters. In addition to the speed of pumping, "Ice" opens up incredible opportunities for PvP in the open world.
 • Look for allies! Mages swing alone, as they have all the abilities you need for this, but you can team up with other players, especially if you like to complete tasks in the company.
 • Don't overpay. If you give up unnecessary abilities, you can easily buy vehicles as soon as you reach level 40. Don't run to the coach at every level. Save not only money, but also time! Recommended levels for a trainer to visit are indicated in one of the sections of this guide.

We hope these tips will help you level up your Mage faster in World of Warcraft: Classic. Good luck!
