Armrests must have a length of at least 250 mm, a width of 5070 mm, to be able to adjust the height over the seat in the range (23030) mm. The distance between them should be adjusted from 350 to 500 mm.

Requirements for the monitor

The monitor acts as the main element of displaying the information collected armature for the engineer of the distance. Within all of its working time, the engineer must follow information on the screen. Therefore, special requirements are presented to the Arm-Indian Monitor:

by radiation levels, the monitor must meet the requirements set out in paragraph 7.2.6;

the diagonal of the monitor should be at least 19 "(recommended 21");

the frequency of the vertical sweep should be at least 65 Hz (75 Hz recommended);

the monitor must be located so that the image in any part of it is distinguishable without the need to raise or lower the head;

the angle of observing the screen relative to the horizontal line of the view should not exceed 60 °.

Keyboard and Mouse Requirements

The keyboard and mouse act as a means of managing display elements (windows) ARM-CFD and to enter information by an engineer in ARM. At the same time, taking into account the use of a multi-zone interface, a mouse is the main means of controlling the elements of the graphical interface. The keyboard is used to enter text and numeric information.

The keyboard in the workplace of the engineer should be able to freely move. The keyboard should be located on the surface of the table at a distance from 100 to 300 mm from the front edge facing the operator, or on a special, adjustable working surface, separated from the main table top.

The mouse is located to the right of the keyboard on the surface of the table or on the additional work surface. On the work surface should be enough free space to work with the mouse. For convenience, it is recommended to use a special mouse pad, which is performed from an antistatic material and provides a good surface clutch with a movable mouse element. If the spaces to work with the mouse is not enough, then you need to use the trackball.
