From 19 to 23 December 2018 at the Expocentre Fairgrounds, the XXV Exhibition-Fair of Folk Arts and Crafts “LADYA. Winter's Tale - 2018 "
The exhibition-fair is organized by the Association "Folk Arts and Crafts of Russia" with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation. The co-organizer of the exhibition is EXPOCENTRE JSC.
At the initiative of the Association "Folk Arts and Crafts of Russia", the exhibition "LADYA" was included in the Action Plan ("Road Map") for the preservation, revival and development of folk arts and crafts for the period until 2019, approved by the Order of the Government of the Russian Federation of December 14, 2017 No. No. 2800-r., Developed by order of the President of the Russian Federation V.V.Putin.
The country's largest exhibition of folk art crafts “BOAT. Winter's Tale - 2018 ”will open its doors on New Year's Eve. It will be attended by over 1,600 craft organizations, creative associations, individually working craftsmen and artisans from 68 regions of the Russian Federation.
"LADYA" is a creative laboratory, an authoritative professional platform, where guests of the event will be able to see the richest palette of folk arts and crafts from all over Russia gathered together, and craft and craft organizations conduct a constructive dialogue, work out compromise and effective solutions for the development of the industry, demonstrate their best products ... On the sidelines of the exhibition, specialists will be able to establish commercial ties and find new business partners, cooperation with which will provide an opportunity to expand their business.
By tradition, world-famous centers of folk art will present their best products: Khokhloma and Gorodets wood painting, Gzhel and Kislovodsk porcelain, Veliky Ustyug niello silver, Rostov enamel, Vologda and Yelets lace, Bogorodsk wood carving, Kubachi silver products, Kholmogorsk and Tobolsk bone, Zhostovo and Nizhny Tagil painting on metal, Skopino and Pskov ceramics, Torzhok gold embroidery, weapons of Zlatoust and Moscow craftsmen, Pavlovsk cutlery, artistic weaving, embroidery, Baltic amber, etc.
The LADYA exhibition is a convenient platform for the development of business activity of participants and guests of the exhibition - dialogue, discussions, immersion in the problems of the industry development. The exhibition will host a Business Forum for directors and specialists of NHP enterprises, which includes congress events on the support of folk arts and crafts, business cases, seminars and round tables. The LADYA exhibition will be held in a new format and will be located in four halls.
The first hall will exhibit products according to the industry principle: salons of porcelain and ceramics, lacquer painting, artistic wood and bone carving, painting on metal, artistic weaving and carpet weaving, artistic processing of metal and leather, crystal and glass, etc.
The Central Exhibition will include the best works presented as part of the Competitive Program of the Exhibition, both in a new category - "My Horses, Horses" in the works of craftsmen, as well as in the traditional nominations "My Dear Capital", "Hunting. Traditions and Modernity ”,“ Orthodoxy in the Works of Folk Craftsmen ”,“ The Best Samples of Products Developed for the Exhibition “LADYA”. In the second hall, more than 30 regions of the Russian Federation will present their collective expositions, within which they will acquaint visitors with the history and traditions of their region and present products of folk crafts and artisans.
