A meme contest has begun in Usmanov's group, but the humor in these works is not easy to detect. Usmanov awarded the winners of the meme contest about the dispute with Navalny Usmanov presented the iPhone to four winners of the meme contest

Businessman Alisher Usmanov summed up the first results of the competition he announced for the best cartoon dedicated to his video message to oppositionist Alexei as part of a dispute that began with Navalny's creation of the film "He's not Dimon to you."

Navalny did not remain in debt.

“I have just arrived from the Lublin court, where, at the suit of billionaire Alisher Usmanov, it was decided to oblige me and FBK to remove the film “He is not Dimon to you.” And the entire investigation attached to the film and containing documents, ”said the blogger

However, he flatly refused to comply with the decision of the court.

“Answer: no. Under no circumstances will I remove our film or our investigation. I do not accept the decision of the court. I don’t recognize this by the court at all, ”Navalny summed up.

In addition, he pointed out that the court refused to watch the film “He is not Dimon to you”, the decision to remove which was taken by the court. Navalny also lamented that the court rejected 22 of the 22 defense motions and refused to call most of the witnesses to the trial.

In the community on VKontakte, where a meme contest launched by businessman Alisher Usmanov is held, the first works have been published. And it seems that the sense of humor of their authors does not matter for victory - the contestants compete in who will humiliate Alexei Navalny more and praise Usmanov himself.

On May 29, Usmanov announced a meme contest on the theme of his conflict with Navalny, in which the main prize would be an iPhone 7 and a T-shirt with the businessman's signature. A special Group, which is now called the Usmanov Challenge. About 8 thousand people subscribed to it.

Usmanov promised that every week he would choose the work, the author of which will receive an iPhone (the second smartphone will be given to the winner of the user vote), and attached a video, which, apparently, should be guided by the contestants. In it, the heroes of the "Heart of a Dog" argue with Usmanov instead of Navalny, judge for yourself the level of humor.

In some it is even difficult to detect any humor.

For comparison, here are several photoshops that social media users themselves published after Usmanov's two appeals (we specially selected those where one can hardly find sympathy for Navalny).

There is still time before summing up the results, but so far the main contender for the iPhone remains the author of the photo-toad with Navalny the Pirate.

The businessman said that he could not choose one best work this week and decided to award three users at once. Another contestant was chosen by "popular vote". All of them will receive iPhones, Usmanov promises.

Among the winners chosen by the billionaire was the work of Artemy Lebedev Studio designer Yegor Zhgun, who redrawn the poster for the Kung Fu Panda cartoon. This picture was posted on the designer's Twitter on May 24, before the competition was announced.

"Among the selected works was a picture sent to us with a kung-pah panda. We know that it appeared on the network before the contest. We will find its author and send him a well-deserved award," the VKontakte group dedicated to the contest says in a message.

Usmanov announced a meme contest on May 29. He promised to post works he likes on his page every week and reward their authors with Apple smartphones. It was on this device that the first video message to Navalny was filmed, the billionaire noted.

In this appeal, published on May 18, Usmanov responded to the main accusations leveled against him by Navalny. In particular, he voiced his version of the origin of his multi-billion dollar fortune and where he pays taxes. In the appeal, he also uttered the phrase "fuck on you, Alexei Navalny", which has become a meme.

A few days later, Usmanov published another appeal to the oppositionist, in which he accused him of lying and compared him with the hero of Mikhail Bulgakov's story "Heart of a Dog" Polygraph Sharikov. Both appeals became the occasion for numerous caricatures and parodies, after which Usmanov announced a meme contest.

On May 31, the Lyublinsky District Court of Moscow satisfied the claim for the protection of honor and dignity filed by Usmanov against Navalny in April. The judge ordered the defendant to refute several publications about Usmanov and remove the film "He is not Dimon to you", dedicated to "secret real estate" allegedly owned by Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev and funds allegedly associated with him.

One of these funds, according to the investigation, received a land plot and a mansion on Rublevsky Highway worth 5 billion rubles as a gift from Usmanov. The court found this information untrue.
