Yasmina Muratovich personal life. Yasmina Muratovich: “Working as a model has never been the limit of my dreams. I am "before" and "after" the haircut - two different people

Today we decided to talk to a young Russian model Yasmina Muratovich , whose career began with the magazine Yes!, and after a couple of years continued on the best catwalks Paris and New York... What it is like to be a successful model, socialite and just a fashionable girl at 24, we decided to find out.

- Yasmina, tell us how you got into the modeling business?

At the age of 15, a scout of a modeling agency approached me and my mother on the street and offered to try myself as a model. So it all started spinning.

- Parents are often ardent opponents of the girl working as a model, tell me, how did your relatives feel about your work?

At the beginning of my career, my parents were very happy when I appeared on the covers of various Russian publications, but when it came to traveling abroad for two months, my dad was categorically against it, but could not forbid me! For this, I thank him very much, because this was the beginning of my fascinating journey around the world. All my trips were on one condition: not to drop out of school and get a higher education.

After my first show Prada I didn't really understand anything, but when my friend and I returned to the room, we immediately started jumping and jumping! Prada is the best show for a novice model! Now I take everything much more calmly and understand that in this business there is nothing permanent. The canons of beauty change with each season and it is very difficult to keep up. You have to sacrifice time, personal life and communication with loved ones, and I am not ready to make such sacrifices.

- How do you think the model business in Russia is fundamentally different from this industry abroad?

Probably radically different in that we have absolutely nowhere to grow. Vogue and Número - this is the ultimate dream, since it is not clear where to move further. Therefore, everyone is eager to go abroad, but recently I have noticed the opposite trend - many make a name for themselves abroad and return to work in Russia.

- Which model do you focus on? Do you have any idols from the past or from the current catwalk stars?

Everyone has their own path, I am not guided by anyone and I believe that everyone is individual in their own way! But if we talk about sympathy, then I am very impressed Anya Rubik and Natasha Poly.

- Due to the large number of offers, you travel a lot, tell me which city is your favorite? And where do you dream of going one day?

I love Milan and Tokyo. I know Milan like the back of my hand: a cozy city, friendly people and delicious food, especially a cutlet Ala Milanese... Tokyo is a city from another planet, every time it seems completely different, completely new and unexplored, and the cultural heritage is simply amazing. I really want to go to Africa and India.

- Tell us about your hobbies, please.

My hobby is finding new hobbies. Every year my hobbies change, I want to try myself everywhere. I love to sing, especially when no one hears.

- Many people think that if you are lucky to be born with the appearance of a model, then you can relax and flutter from the party to the shows. Tell me, how much do you work on your appearance? What sport do you prefer?

Well, to be honest, I'm not really working on myself. So far, there is no such need - once a month I go to a beautician for beauty treatments and 2-3 times a week for fitness and yoga classes.

- As for food, do you have any prohibitions, do you adhere to any fashion trends in this matter?

No, I eat everything.

- What is always in your cosmetic bag? And what is your express beauty ritual when you urgently need to go to a social event, and you are running out of time?

There is always a matting powder Clarins and lip balm La mer... But if I didn't get enough sleep, then no ritual will help me - half-closed eyes immediately betray me. By the way patches Mos make sometimes they are dealt with!

- Tell us about your must-haves in your wardrobe and the trends you hate.

Basically, my wardrobe consists of classic things in neutral colors that can be harmoniously combined with each other and also with some unusual jackets or accessories.

- What advice can you give to novice models? What mistakes can be avoided and what should you pay special attention to?

The main mistake of many novice models, in my opinion, is the following: they completely forget that education is very important, and that this work is, at best, for five years, and that is not a fact that it will be possible to earn something. You should not rush into the pool with your head, always think soberly about the future.

- How do you see yourself in 10 years? Do you want to stay in the modeling business or do something else?

I have been working as a fashion model for about eight years now, and lately, the modeling business has not been in the foreground. I am studying to be an interior designer and plan to develop in this direction, but if in parallel any interesting proposals for filming come in, I will gladly agree.

- Wish for readers of the site

Smile more often!

I am Smina Muratovich, one of the most popular models in Russia, told BeautyHack about her favorite beauty products, my diet and self-care during pregnancy.

ABOUT own business and impressions of pregnancy

My pregnancy is very easy - I think I will be happy to give birth to 10 more children!

Of course, day X has not yet arrived, and it is too early to make such statements, but all 8 months have passed very enthusiastically. The most unusual thing about pregnancy is your inner feelings. I really want to hug him as soon as possible and kiss him!

My appearance has hardly changed. In the photographs, I notice that my facial features “floated” a little. But others say that it only seems to me!

During pregnancy, I continued to act and even took part in sports filming for Uniqlo. On camera she imitated practicing various sports, including strength training, and she was already in her third month! It seems to me that if the organizers knew about this, they would be shocked!

I agreed to interesting offers, but now I don't attach such great importance to modeling work. In addition, the modeling business for me is a passed stage.

You cannot work as a model all your life.

I have been working in this business since I was 15, and now I am already 26. In addition, now there are a lot of young and talented girls - we must give them a chance. Upon my return from Europe, I collected all commercial projects in Moscow.

I have my own coffee shop ("Coffee Bureau" - ed.), Which takes a lot of time and effort. At one time I lived in Italy, and I was attracted by the large number of small coffee bars, where you can run in and drink delicious coffee for 1.5-2 euros. You will be greeted and shown with a smile, and on the road you can take a delicious sandwich or cupcake. And you will not worry all day that you paid 600 rubles for a cup of coffee and 500 rubles for an eclair, as in many Moscow establishments. And it's not a fact that coffee will be tasty (and we will tell you how to drink it correctly).

I had an idea to create a coffee shop where people would feel comfortable, where they would know their preferences and ask at the entrance “Is it the same for you as usual?”.

I wanted there to be a place in Moscow where people would pay little money but receive a quality product. I succeeded - we have very tasty coffee for little money - and everyone can taste it! The same Coffeemania is the kings of the coffee market in Russia, but let's be honest: not everyone can afford to go there. But with me it is not so - and many come to us from there.

Favorite salon care

I don't go to salons to please myself - I treat it like a duty. If I need to clean up before an important event, I always go Wax Detox Bar - styling, makeup and manicure are great.

In a beauty salon Aesthetica I am undergoing a course of peels that can be done during pregnancy. Doctor Aisulu is a very pleasant woman. Before the start of the course, we selected a peeling without vitamin A for me for an hour, because it is not recommended for pregnant women. The result was worth it - these peels just saved me.

I recently tried the Teociane hyaluronic acid mask. I was given it after the procedure, and I did not recognize myself - I looked 5 years younger!

If it were possible, I would only do my own personal care in the salon. Shopping and home skincare are not fun for me.

But I don’t like to waste my time either. When I go to the salon, I like to have all the procedures done at the same time - this saves a lot of time. In two hours you can do a manicure, make-up, styling - and run on. The salon is ideal for this. Go Coppola in the Tsvetnoy shopping center.

During pregnancy, I did massages for body care - the muscles of the body become numb, and this is very useful. But during pregnancy, only foot massage and upper body massage can be done. And I didn’t experiment - I did what I could. Recently I was advised to take a course of thalasso therapy for pregnant women at the Lapino Clinical Hospital "Mother and Child"... During the procedure, a light peeling is done, then a wrap from mineral algae. Then you are immersed in a bathtub, where you lie in limbo. They say that for pregnant women this is just a miracle! I will be happy to try this procedure. I completely trust their approach and plan to give birth there.

Favorite facial

Recently bought a line of cosmetics Ultraceuticals and now I use only it - I see the result. Favorite remedies - gentle Cleansing Gel Ultraceuticals. On the advice of my doctor Aisulu from the Aesthetica salon, I bought SunActive SPF 50+ Face Cream Ultraceuticals. She told me that SPF is necessary for the skin, even in winter, to keep it youthful for as long as possible.

It was a revelation for me. I didn't always use SPF products even in summer.

Loved the Vitamin C Serum Ultra C Firming Serum Ultraceuticals - when you use it, it seems that vitamin C goes directly into the blood.

Of course, there is not much I can do now, and I am worried about it. Hormonal surges that are reflected on the skin are not the most pleasant moment in my situation.

When taking care of your face during pregnancy, I adhere to a simple rule - the less you touch your face, the better. Sometimes I don't even wash off my makeup in the evening when I'm very tired. And in the morning I get up with gorgeous skin!

Remove makeup micellar water Uriage. And if the makeup is persistent - a product that contains oils. It's cleansing now uriage face oil. Then I apply lotion Lotion P50W Biologique Recherche, but during pregnancy he was excluded from the beauty diet - there are components that are not suitable for pregnant girls. Then I apply serums, moisturizers for the face at night. Now my favorite cream is Super Aqua-Crème Guerlain(you can read the history of this brand).

I love oils. Chinese Yunio Oil is incredible. It removes all redness in one night. Recently tried the entire line of Khiels masks - they are great, I didn't even know that they have such good face makeup.

I use balm for lip care Baume de La Mer by La Merand Carmex with cherry flavor... The first time I tried it in America, and when it began to be sold in Moscow, my happiness knew no bounds.

In the morning, during the day and at night, I apply a moisturizing spray on my face Valo Glow Refresh Hydrating Vitamin C Mist Lumene.

Favorite body and hair care

I like using scrubs. Now my beloved - renewing scrub Tuva Natura Siberica... Favorite shower gel is Loccitane almond oil. Also I like care line of the Amouage brand - shower gel and body cream: I can not apply perfume after using them, all products have a very persistent aroma.

During pregnancy, the best body care can be found in various oils.

I don't use creams during pregnancy - most of them have a cool texture that is not very pleasant to apply to the skin. Oils are another matter. During pregnancy I fell in love with them even more. My favourite - bio-Oil Specialist Moisturizer Oil. And also - stretch mark prevention oil Weleda.

At the beginning of pregnancy, I got my hair cut in the salon "White Garden" and very happy with it! It takes me half the time to wash and style my hair.

I am "before" and "after" a haircut - two different people.

Before pregnancy, I worked a lot as a model and could not afford to change my haircut. I had a fix idea: when I get pregnant, I will have my hair cut, because it will not be up to filming anymore. My husband was shocked at first, but now he really likes it.

I constantly try different hair care products in salons - I don't have one favorite procedure. I love moisturizing, supportive care.

Recently tried clay hair care at the Go Coppola salon - the result is incredible. After the procedure, there was a feeling that the scalp was literally breathing.

I use at home shampoos Santa Maria Novella, very happy with them. I apply christophe Robin hair masks few times a week. I love trying new products. If you use one and the same, the effect of it disappears.

I can't live without leave-in hair care - I always apply moisturizing sprays before drying, the hair looks better right away. Now I use spray Kontier, it has a very interesting honey aroma.

Favorite makeup and perfume

Makeup is my daily beauty routine. Even if I'm at home and don't intend to go out, I can put on light makeup to cheer myself up.

If you are in a bad mood and, in addition, you do not like yourself in the mirror, this is quite a disaster.

Usually I apply a natural tone, light blush and shadow. I like to use liquid eyeshadow Eye Tint by Giorgio Armani - they are very light and invisible, but the eyes become very expressive with them. I even out skin tone with Lingerie de Peau Guerlain... And the freshness of my face is given by the blush Coco code chanel and creamy blush stick Cheek stain tarte... I complete the image with ink Eyes To Kill Giorgio Armani.

I can't do without a curler - the best in the world is from the Shu Uemura brand, it's a pity it's hard to find it in Moscow.

By the way, this curler is dearly loved by all our editors, read why.

I try to keep my makeup as natural as possible. But it must be perfect.

This helps me stick concealer Skincolor The Concealer La Mer. It masks all skin imperfections as well as possible. Under the eyes I use concealer Light Fantastic Cellular La Praire. A liquid highlighter gives my skin a radiance Opal Becca - I really like it, I immediately bought myself a second jar of this product. It gives a chic finish as if you were doing your makeup in the salon.

I shape my eyebrows with the Double Fix Mascara Clarins.

It is not noticeable on the eyebrows, but it fixes the hairs very well in the right direction. In the summer I use it at sea - I paint my eyelashes with mascara, fix it on top with this gel - you can swim and dive, and the mascara will not flow!

For the lips I like to use tints from Armani and Becca. I apply and blend lipstick only with my fingertips. I always take literally a drop of the product - this way they look better.

I don’t understand a makeup base. I believe that this product should only be applied by professionals.

If I have to go out in the evening, I focus on the eyes - I draw a black, not very wide arrow or do a slight shading of a brown arrow. This helps to accentuate the look and give it a feline shape - I love this effect.

I have a large collection of perfumes and do not have my favorite seasonal fragrances. I use all perfumes according to my mood.

My longtime favorite is Baccarat Rouge Maison Francis Kurkdjian.

To cheer myself up, I will use Montale Rose Musk - it's a little bit harsh, but sweet. Of the latest perfumes, I like Orange Flower Ralph Lauren.

About beauty traditions and beauty secrets

I have no special beauty secrets. All my secrets come down to the main rule - sleep a lot and eat right.

If you haven't got enough sleep, then decorative cosmetics will not hide it. And if you are hungry, your gaze will go down, and your activity will become lower - this will affect the whole image. Perhaps this is trite, but many girls forget about this rule - and after all, natural beauty is built on this, which will only have to be emphasized with cosmetics and maintained with care products.

But I have my own beauty traditions.

When I travel to Europe, I always go to the Santa Maria Novella store. I buy a lot of products and use them until my next trip.

If I go to the sea, I always go for peeling on the first day - the tan turns out to be very even and lasts a long time on the skin. In Moscow, there was never enough time for this, and pilling on the first day of vacation has become a tradition.

About nutrition and sports

I love Pilates - I think it's functional yoga. In regular yoga, I fall asleep, and in Pilates training, all muscle groups are involved. During pregnancy, you should definitely go to sports! If you don't move, your body will ache more. And it's good for the child when the mother is more active. You still need to walk a lot. My husband and I live in the countryside, and we have many opportunities for walking - there is a river and a forest nearby.

During pregnancy, I continue to go to Pilates, but to special training. I train individually with a trainer because everyone has a different body - an individual approach works better. You can also ask questions and be sure that you are doing all the exercises correctly.

I also go in for swimming - it is a very interesting experience. The back is very resting in the water, I advise all pregnant women!

It may be immodest, but I was really lucky with the figure. Before pregnancy I could not get better at all: for me it was a test. I've been to many nutritionists, but my maximum weight was 53 kilograms.

But she never gave up sports - being thin does not mean beautiful!

To be honest, I don't know why I was trying to get better. Probably, the evil tongues are to blame, which all the time said: “Oh, you are so thin! You've lost weight again! " If I lost weight every time I was told about it, I would no longer exist.

Nutrition during pregnancy has not changed much. I stopped eating raw fish, and I still really miss sushi - I ate them every week before pregnancy. I refused sausages, oysters and everything that has not been heat treated. I couldn't completely give up coffee - I have my own coffee shop, and I need to constantly try new drinks to check their quality. But we got decaf, and now I can drink decaf!

My favorite food is chicken and chips. I used to leave very often, and I did not have enough homemade food. And every time she returned home, my mother would cook baked chicken and potatoes. It became a tradition and I always looked forward to coming home.

I do not really like to cook, but sometimes it finds inspiration on me, I can cook four dishes. I don't like to cook for myself - I cook dumplings for myself, or something that can be cooked quickly.

A Moscow schoolgirl, or rather, her beautiful blue eyes, the modeling agent saw at a youth magazine party where Yasmina came with her friend - and just a couple of months later the girl was invited to work in Japan, where she took Glamor magazine with her first fashion shoot in her life. Further more: an invitation to the Prada show spring-summer 2008. “It was my first fashion show, I was very nervous, but then, when it was all over, I wanted to run out onto the podium ten more times! I just really enjoyed participating in the show - I still didn't realize that thanks to that show I was among the most popular models, ”says Yasmina. Valentino HC FW 08.09 Gianfranco Ferre SS 09 Milan Iceberg Spring 2009 At Chanel Paris-Moscow pre-fall show Elie Saab Valentino HC SS09 Blugirl F / W 09.10 This season, 18-year-old Muratovich decided to take a time out and took part only in New York Fashion Week in order to have time to pass the session at the Institute of Management, where she is studying PR. “This is the only job that seems to me as varied as a model,” she laughs. I am very grateful to Igor Udalov, director of the World fashion management agency, that he saw the potential in me and helps me. “I haven’t thought about the future yet. But I know for sure that I will not be able to work in a job where you have to sit still in the office. I love movement. I also really like taking pictures.” “In the profession of a model I like, of course, that every time we change our image. It can be very interesting. Sometimes I don’t even recognize myself in the mirror. It’s also great in the profession of a model that we can express ourselves and appear to people from different sides.” "I don't like the fact that most models are very selfish. Everyone in this world of modeling business is ready to fight only for themselves. I don't understand this. After all, all models have their own path to achieving fame."
I have no model friends. I believe that there can be no friendship in this business, because there is fierce competition here, and someone will definitely envy. Of the Russian top models, Natasha Poly is a landmark for me.

There are dozens of coffee shops in Moscow of different formats and budgets, but real coffee lovers lack space, and the right places of coffee power can be counted on one hand. Model Yasmina Muratovich and entrepreneur Yekaterina Evstropova decided to rectify the situation and opened up a space where coffee is an internal religion. Without false pathos, unnecessary additives and far-fetched prices.

"Coffee Bureau"

How did you decide that you want to do business? Have you already had a similar experience under your belt?

Yasmina:

Thanks to successful career in the modeling business, I have traveled all over the world. For 10 years, I have visited all the key places on our planet - I lived in New york, Tokyo, Milan. In parallel, I was educated and studied languages. Having finished my career, I decided to stay in Moscow. I had a lot of ideas and inspiration after so many years "over the hill", so almost immediately upon returning, I realized that I wanted to discover something of my own. Experience in restaurant business I didn't have it, but I had a wild love for coffee and a craving for beauty, from which our author's project "Coffee Bureau" emerged.

Ekaterina:

As for me, I had an example of parents in front of my eyes who have always worked, so doing business is a family one. Therefore, already in the magistracy of the university, I began to combine study and work in the office of one company. Started as an assistant in accounting, now director economic department... At some point, I realized that I had to do something of my own.

How did you meet each other and why did you decide to open a coffee shop?

Yasmina:

Katya is my husband's sister (but at that time we were not married yet). We very quickly found a common language, spent a lot of time together, traveled and agreed on a great love for coffee and the desire to start a business. We both really like the Italian bars, where you can run in, drink quality coffee for 1.5 euros, chat with the barista and run on about your business. Soon we realized that we wanted to open something similar in our city.

Ekaterina:

Yasmina was led by fate to my brother, and then to me. They immediately became friends, and then worked together. There were a lot of ideas and thoughts about my business. We thought for a long time and formulated ideas, "zest", how we can hook people, what we would like ourselves as a consumer. But at some point I saw a great room (where the Coffee Bureau is now located) and realized that it was the coffee shop that was missing here. So they began to work out everything from scratch in stages.

Is it easy for you to maintain friendly relations in a joint business?

Yasmina:

Of course, there are sometimes collisions, without it nowhere. But they are usually instructive for us. Since none of us had any experience in the restaurant business, we learn exclusively from our mistakes, hence sometimes misunderstandings arise, but we quickly find a compromise and move on. The main thing is to correctly distribute responsibilities and think positively.

What aboutwhat are the main difficulties in the "coffee" business?

Yasmina:

The main difficulty is to earn the respect and trust of people. Also, the main difficulties are constant quality control and work with personnel.

Ekaterina:

As with any customer-centric restaurant business, a lot depends on the staff who interacts directly with the guests directly. Therefore, we pay great attention to the selection and training of our guys.

How do you maintain a balance between family and work?

Yasmina:

You need to properly distribute your work and family affairs. With the advent of a child, I spend more and more time on my family, but I found a way out of the situation - I work remotely.

Ekaterina:

Difficult, but possible! The main thing is to clearly schedule a plan of actions and tasks for the day / week / month and clearly implement it in order to do everything. Time management in action!

What advice can you give to girls who are just starting their own business?

Yasmina:

I advise you to find yourself a partner who will be on the same wavelength with you from the first day, so that you do your business with love and without unnecessary quarrels that will definitely not lead to success. Well, and most importantly, you need to understand that your business is not just a beautiful phrase and status, but a lot of problems, sleepless nights and a constant struggle for survival at the beginning.

Ekaterina:

Think a hundred times, you need it at all ( smiling)? You need to understand that this is a great responsibility. And if you do everything correctly and efficiently, it takes an incredible amount of effort, time, nerves. Make a clear step-by-step plan and "step by step" go to implementation. And also, I'm a fan of the record plates of everything that is possible! A very useful thing, not a single croissant will disappear from sight ( smiles was last modified: August 22nd, 2018 by Christina Rytikova
