Private amusement park. Business idea: opening a country park for recreation - Entertainment Ideas for attractions in the park

Let's pay attention to seasonal business, which begins in May, reaches its highest point in the summer, and then kills. During this season they earn from 150 to 400 thousand rubles in net profit. It can be used as an alternative income at a time when some types of businesses suffer a summer slump.

Ice cream on the street as a business

Selling ice cream on the street is an exclusively summer idea for a street business. But during this season you can earn a significant profit, since the product is in demand. Delicious ice cream in the summer heat is even more attractive than sweet sparkling water.

Purchase of equipment and inventory

We are not talking about an ice cream stand, but a mobile cart. The benefit is that it can be moved if the location is bad. To place a retail facility on the street, you must obtain approval from the local administration.

Need to buy:

  • Freezer-chest for selling ice cream;
  • Special trolley;
  • Umbrella;
  • Folding chair;

Idea! Such stalls with carts are offered by ice cream manufacturers. You sell their product and they provide you with the equipment.

You can also purchase freezers for trade in used condition - this is a significant savings.

Investments per outlet:

  • Registration of an individual entrepreneur, approval of the SES and administration - 7 thousand rubles;
  • Purchase of equipment (used) – 30 thousand rubles;
  • Purchase of goods – 10 thousand rubles;

Total: 47 thousand rubles

Products need to be purchased from several suppliers or choose one with a large selection of types. This is important, otherwise a lover of sherbet (fruit and berry dessert) will go to another place and will not visit your point again.

Profit from the sale of ice cream

During hot days, you can sell from 200 packs of ice cream, the markup on it is on average 150% and higher. The average cost of purchasing one piece is 10 rubles, selling – 30 rubles. The minimum income for one day will be 6 thousand rubles, for a month - 180 thousand rubles.

Calculation of monthly profit:

  • Income – 180 thousand rubles;
  • The cost of the goods is 60 thousand rubles;
  • Salary for 2 sellers – 15 thousand rubles;
  • Electricity costs – 5 thousand rubles.
  • Profit before tax – 100 thousand rubles
  • Taxes – 15 thousand rubles;
  • Net profit – 85 thousand rubles.

From one outlet you can get 85 thousand rubles per month, from two - 170 thousand rubles. The investment will pay off in one month, which is a very good indicator.

Selling kvass on the street

Kvass is a good non-alcoholic alternative to beer, the sales of which increase many times over in the summer. Now these are not barrels that do not stand up to criticism from a sanitation point of view. Kvass is sold in special thermokegs that can preserve the taste of the refreshing drink.

To earn a good amount during the season, you need to equip several points for selling kvass.

Equipment for kvass

Setting up a retail outlet does not require large investments. Minimum set for a mobile kvass outlet on tap:

  • Installation with a cooler and taps for bottling 2 types of kvass;
  • 2-3 kegs;
  • Seller's chair;
  • Umbrella or awning;
  • Nice uniform for a salesperson;
  • Plastic cups 0.2 and 0.5, eggplants 1 l, 1.5 l;
  • Napkins, basket and garbage bags, etc.

The highest cost is a cooler with taps for 2 grades, which will cost 40 thousand rubles.

Investments for 1 kvass outlet:

  • Registration of individual entrepreneurs, permission from the SES and other authorities - 7 thousand rubles;
  • Equipment and inventory – 60 thousand rubles;
  • Purchase of kvass, cups - 3 thousand rubles.

Total costs will be 70 thousand rubles

There is one significant nuance in the kvass trade - it is directly dependent on the weather. In hot weather, trade is excellent, but cloudy weather reduces profits by half. This must be taken into account when planning purchases. To deliver kegs to the point you need a car, but you can negotiate with the supplier about delivery.

Profit from the sale of kvass

A liter of kvass on tap costs about 50 rubles (including packaging), the factory selling price is 23 rubles, the price of packaging is 1 ruble. On average, you can sell about 55 liters per day, which is 2.7 thousand rubles, and per month – 82.5 thousand rubles.

Calculation of profit from one point:

  • Income from beer sales – 82.5 thousand rubles;
  • The cost of beer with containers is 39.6 thousand rubles;
  • Labor costs (2 sellers) – 12 thousand rubles;
  • Electricity costs – 4 thousand rubles;
  • Profit before tax – 26.9 thousand rubles;
  • Taxes – 4 thousand rubles;
  • Net profit 22.9 thousand rubles

Obviously, in order to break even, it is necessary to equip at least 4 points and use used equipment whenever possible. The payback period using the equipment will be 1.5 months, and the profit for the season (4 points) will be from 400 thousand rubles.

Outdoor rides

Opening your own outdoor amusement business is very easy. You just need to purchase inflatable slides, a labyrinth, electric cars and other attractions. If you explore areas of your city, you will find many promising places that do not yet have such services.

Purchase of attractions

The main thing you need to pay attention to is the quality of the attractions, otherwise they will not last you even a season. Find out their weight; reliable trampolines, for example, weigh from 650 grams per m2. High-quality attractions can be resold, but cheap Chinese ones can only be thrown away.

Mini park set:

  • Inflatable slide-trampoline;
  • Air blower;
  • Trampoline with enclosing mesh;
  • 3 electric cars.

A set of new attractions will cost at least 200 thousand rubles, used – 100 thousand rubles.

Organizational matters

Of course, in order to stay and start earning money in a park or playground, you need to negotiate with the park administration. Renting land costs money - about 500 thousand rubles per m2. The landlord provides electricity, since running gasoline generators is unprofitable.

Important! Safety precautions must not be neglected - inflatable “jumping ropes” must be equipped with concrete anchors. Otherwise, it may fly away, and if there was a person there, then you will have major problems.

Attractions are required to have a technical passport and certificates, and to organize an amusement park you need permission from Rospotrebnadzor and Gostekhnadzor.

Profit from attractions

15 minutes on an inflatable slide and trampoline costs about 50 rubles, and 5 minutes on an electric car costs 60 rubles. In a profitable place you can collect about 6 thousand rubles per day, per month - 180 thousand rubles.

Monthly payments:

  • Income from attractions – 180 thousand rubles per month;
  • Rent – 20 thousand rubles;
  • Salary of 4 people – 30 thousand rubles;
  • Electricity costs – 2 thousand rubles;
  • Profit before tax – 128 thousand rubles;
  • Tax – 19 thousand rubles;
  • Net profit – 109 thousand rubles.

The investment pays off in 1 month, the profit for the season will be more than 300 thousand rubles.

Selling lemonade on the street

This idea in implementation is in many ways similar to selling kvass on tap. You can make your own lemonade or buy from suppliers. If you want to attract people's attention, then it is better to produce and sell a healthy product - natural lemonade.

Idea! An excellent option to sell live kvass and lemonade at one point.

Equipment

The lemonade outlet is equipped in the same way as the kvass outlet:

  • Counter with refrigerator and taps for pouring;
  • 2-3 kegs;
  • Umbrella;
  • Chair;
  • Disposable containers for bottling.

Investments in equipment for a retail outlet will amount to about 60 thousand rubles.

Natural lemonade

The product itself that you will sell is not that difficult to prepare. You need 1/3 liter lemon juice, 1.5 liters of distilled water and 50 grams of sugar. After the sugar has dissolved, it is further diluted with water. An alternative option is mojitos, so beloved by Russians.

To produce your own lemonade, you will need additional equipment - a syrup boiler, as well as a room. Organizationally, it is much easier to sell store-bought lemonade.

Profit from the sale of lemonade

A point selling lemonade should be located near where its potential clients spend their time – children. These are recreation parks, schools, and also in busy places with a large flow of people. Profit from one outlet will be about 25 thousand rubles per month.

Business idea - photographing people on the street

The essence of this business idea is to take photos of people while walking around the city. Your clients: couples in love, families with children, people with animals, cheerful groups who would not mind getting a professional photo. You give them your business cards with contact information where they will contact you and if they like the photos, they will buy them. You can also have your own original equipment to create images, for example, Charlie Chaplin's mustache, bowler hat and cane or any other option.

Organizing photos on the street

There are many ideas for implementation: you can take people’s email addresses and send samples with an offer to buy the photo. Money can be received into a bank account or electronic accounts.

Advantages of the business: no need to rent a room, purchase equipment for lighting and renovate the studio.

Investments

To take good pictures you will need a professional camera, the cost of which is 15 thousand rubles or more. But if you are considering such an idea, then you most likely already have a camera. You also need bright equipment so that people see who you are and are willing to make contact. Additional costs include printing business cards. The total costs will be about 30 thousand rubles.

Profit from photos

The cost of one photo is about 60 rubles, but it all depends on your enterprise and talent. With Photoshop skills and the art of photography, you can earn 80-100 rubles per photo. If you take 30 pictures a day and then sell them, you will get at least 1,800 rubles a day, and 54 thousand rubles a month. Minus costs, the profit will be about 35 thousand rubles per month, and this is a good start for a freelance photographer.

I recently learned about an English family who set up a real amusement park on their farm (and called it Mountain View Ranch, its website is mountainviewranch.co.uk):

This park occupies 100 acres of land (404 thousand square meters). More simply, this area can be imagined as a huge square with sides of 636 meters.

There's just so much to be found in this area of wild land.

There is sand and benches under sun umbrellas:

There are wild bushes that you can walk between.

You can ride a Segway along the forest trail (as well as on a special track):

Although you can ride Segways everywhere in this park:

There is entertainment for all ages, especially for children (after all, families come here). You can ride simple horses:

And you can climb on rope structures:

There is also just a slide:

A place for making a fire and archery is a must:

There is a petting zoo where, in addition to pigs and rabbits, you can see chickens, kids and horses:

There are fairytale trails with a magic tree for children:

fairy-tale characters:

and living fairy-tale characters:

You will find even more photos, as well as information about the entertainment offered in this park, on the Facebook page: facebook.com/thecentreofadventure/ (by the way, it has a lot of likes, which indicates the popularity of this park, despite the age of the business).

You can watch a purely childish look at the entertainment in this private park in this video:

For tired visitors, a married couple will offer relaxation in spacious lounges (in addition to armchairs, sofas and tables, there are books and board games):

And for those who are hungry there is a huge dining room:

Judging by the size of the dining room, there are a lot of guests here. Business is booming. And this is not surprising (although it is surprising that it grew so quickly in just two years of existence). I looked at the prices of a private amusement park - they are more than modest - only 3-4 pounds per person (for staying in the park the whole working day - from 9 am to 5 pm).

True, you have to pay for some attractions. For example, the cost of a rope ride is 13 pounds for two people. Segway rides cost £25 for 50 minutes.

The park also accepts group and corporate applications. It also allows you to celebrate birthdays on its territory (for a fee).

In the coming year, the entrepreneurial family plans to build another treehouse, several tepees and add several adventure trails.

If you look at this business from the outside, then it does not involve a large number of financial investments (well, except for paying for land, of course. But land outside the city should not be particularly expensive). Especially at the very beginning of development.

Bringing sand, building simple attractions and wooden benches with canopies is not very difficult. At first, you can prepare a place for small companies and gradually acquire new attractions and new entertainment areas. This is not like building a Disneyland - everything is much simpler. But it also brings in income.

Because people love to relax. Moreover, they like to relax in an unconventional way - not in sanatoriums and city parks and squares, but in the wild, around the fire and wigwam. In the fresh air and away from the hustle and bustle.

Moreover, this private park is not located near London or any other large English city. It is located a few kilometers from the small town of Caerphilly. Here's what the area looks like through the eyes of Google:

I learned about the entrepreneurial history of this English family. First (in 2004) they created a children's cafe. Then, in 2009, they organized a children's play center in the city of Cardiff (population 300 thousand):

This gaming complex occupies a smaller area. It has both outdoor and indoor play areas. Therefore, it works in any weather, at any time of the year. It has approximately the same principle of charging for entry. The pleasure costs from 6 to 7 pounds per child (depending on the day of the week). And you can also stay in it all day - from 10 am to 6 pm.

And so, probably, when the entrepreneurial couple realized that the business was going well, and felt the strength to create an even larger-scale similar business, they decided to open a similar family amusement park on a larger area (she, however, had to borrow money from investors; but since she had already proven her entrepreneurial viability, investors gave money without a squeak).

Therefore, if you are not confident in the future success of your enterprise, do not immediately take on a large scale. Create something smaller and less expensive. Try your hand at your chosen field of business with minimal investment.

I also think that the success of a business depends not only on entrepreneurial experience, but also on the chosen field of activity. It’s not for nothing that the family of entrepreneurs mentioned above chooses businesses related to children - they are interested in it and succeed. It’s not a fact that it will work out for you (perhaps because you don’t like children).

Moreover, you need to start with a smaller business in your chosen field in order to understand:

- Is this your topic?

- Do you know how to run a business?

Therefore, this type of business is, of course, not for everyone (like any type of business). But I personally really like the idea. I would go to such a park with my children.

If we learn to create similar amusement parks in our cities and villages, our people will be able to have organized recreation in nature not only during vacations and holidays, but also just on weekends or during the week. The children will run around and have a blast. Adults can relax and breathe in the fresh air of their own - for a reasonable fee. Benefit for everyone.

The business idea for creating a children's playground with attractions has different options. The park can be opened outdoors or indoors. The choice depends on the initial capital and the entrepreneur’s desire to have seasonal or permanent income. First, you need to choose the concept of a children's institution and write a business plan in order to understand what funds are required to rent or purchase premises, land, documents, equipping the park with attractions and other attributes of children's entertainment.

Is it profitable to open an entertainment complex? Or you should start with a small room, where there will be only one-dimensional attractions, for example, a karting area, a trampoline center for children and adults, a paintball club. An amusement park is not only a place with carousels, trains, and a Ferris wheel, but also areas with sports equipment, slides, climbing frames, and rooms with intellectual quests.

You can choose your own direction and make money from it only if you manage to offer visitors new interesting children's attractions. Visitors should come to the park and not be disappointed. Positive emotions will guarantee the desire to come back here again.

The park should be located in a walkable location so that visitors can easily reach it. It is mandatory to comply with safety standards for attractions so that children do not get health problems. Materials of equipment, inventory, and comfort attributes should not be toxic or untreated. Each item in the children's park must be checked independently to avoid problems.

Business organization

There are no obstacles to starting an amusement park if you have enough money in your pocket and a suitable premises or open area have been chosen for it. Before preparations for the launch of the park begin, the activity must be registered with the Federal Tax Service and registered with the funds. To do this, we select a legal form (IP, LLC) and collect the relevant documents for submission to the tax office.

  • If you plan to use a small area for attractions that is not designed for a large flow of people, then you can choose the individual entrepreneur form. Investments may be feasible for one owner.
  • A large amusement park requires significant investment. You can find like-minded people who will become founders of the organization. In this case, we register an LLC.

The amusement park belongs to the service sector. We select the type of activity according to OKVED and indicate in the application for registration: “Activities in the field of recreation and entertainment” (93.2). This is a general division that includes theme parks, culture and recreation (93.21), and indoor and outdoor entertainment and entertainment (93.29).

The tax system must be selected at the registration stage. A simplified taxation system based on the “income minus expenses” tariff is beneficial, especially at the initial stage. The cost of attractions is the main expense item at the stage of organizing an amusement park. Taxes may be minimal, which will have a positive effect on the promotion stage.

Facility equipment

What equipment is required for an amusement park depends on the specifics of the children's leisure center. An open park must have an appropriate landscape, fencing of the area, and various types of carousels for children aged one year and older. Parents are also not averse to having fun and visiting an attraction designed for adults.

Benches, benches, a cash register, a kiosk with drinks and sweets will be useful in an open-air park if there are no catering places nearby. All attractions must be technically sound and have appropriate accompanying documents confirming the service life and passing the next maintenance.

Indoor amusement parks are in demand because they can be visited in any weather and season. The equipment for such entertainment centers is varied:

  • Electronic devices (racing, shooting, flying, achievements) launched by a token.
  • Electronic cars, radio-controlled animal figures that a child can ride on.
  • Facilities for skating, roller skating, and sports bicycles.
  • Various types of trampolines (slides, jumping ropes).
  • Puzzles, obstacles and other props for the themed quest rooms.

A more precise set of equipment for an amusement park should be specified in the business plan, taking into account the specifics of the amusement center. The cost of equipment depends on the specifics and can be 200 thousand or 10 million rubles.

Documentary side of the project

What documents need to be collected to open an amusement park again depends on its format. For an outdoor entertainment project you will need:

  • Agreement for the land where carousels and other objects will be located.
  • Permission from the administration to use the area as an amusement park.
  • Quality certificates for attractions and admission standards by age category.
  • Notification to Rospotrebnadzor about the start of business activity.

A license is not required for this type of activity. For indoor children's attractions, the package of documents is slightly larger:

  • The conditions in the building must comply with fire safety.
  • The layout is legalized in the BTI.
  • If you have a bar, you will need permission from the SES to sell drinks and food.

Otherwise, the requirements for a closed park are identical to the open version.

State formation

A children's amusement park requires the presence of the following specialists on its staff:

  • A mechanic who will monitor the technical condition of the equipment.
  • Controller (the number depends on the operating mode, the flow of visitors and the number of objects on the territory).
  • The administrator can combine the position of cashier and keep order in the park.
  • Maintenance staff who maintain cleanliness and order in the park.

For children's institutions, employees without a criminal record are hired. When applying for a job, request the appropriate certificate.

Advantages and disadvantages of business

Every business idea has pros and cons that need to be explored. The advantages include the following conditions:

  • Low load on the segment, which reduces dependence on competitors.
  • There is a great demand for entertainment at any time of the year.
  • Parents are ready to shell out any money to please their child.
  • Working with children is always pleasant and brings a stable income.

The disadvantages include the following points:

  • If the park is open-air, then the income is temporary; during the cold season it does not generate income.
  • Large investments are required because attractions of any kind are expensive.
  • You could end up at a loss if the park format or location chosen is incorrect. The profitability of the establishment also depends on this.

Eventually

The idea of opening a children's amusement park is relevant and can be successful if the interests of the target audience and the workload of the segment in the region are taken into account at the preparation stage. For more food for thought, we recommend studying the amusement park business plan on our website.

Objectively speaking, at the moment the most expensive resource is our time. It cannot be replenished for any amount of money. That's why. You need to manage priceless years, months, days and even hours wisely. Many, in their desire to improve their own lives and the lives of their families, forget about rest. These people are in constant motion, constantly searching for new ideas and never stop there. They can hardly be blamed for this. But, like any living creature on our planet, a person simply needs rest. And the more difficult and intense the working day, the better the quality of leisure should be.

But where can a big city resident relax, say, on weekends? As a rule, everyone arranges their leisure time to the best of their abilities and desires. Someone relaxes in front of the TV while watching their favorite movie or show. Someone goes to visit guests. And someone goes on a “trip” through the most dangerous places in the city. And only a few arrange a real vacation for themselves - leaving the city, or even the country, for the weekend (all of you have probably heard about weekend tours to different countries of the world). The most curious thing is that many others are not averse to leaving the confines of the concrete jungle. But there is no opportunity to go to Europe for the weekend yet, and a country house is still only in my dreams.

In some regions they operate especially for such citizens and their families. An excellent example of such an “institution” is the Rostov “Family Park”, which is popular among local residents and visiting guests. It is the largest facility in this area in the south of Russia. Read on to find out what it is and how to organize such a park on your own (or together with partners).

How to open a country park for family recreation?

It all starts with choosing the ideal place to build a future park. As a rule, these are located near large cities. The ideal location is a forest area with a river or lake within 15-30 km from the city. This should be an environmentally friendly area, as there will be many children among your visitors.

A good asphalt road must lead to the future park, and secure parking for several dozen cars must be organized on the territory.

Next, the territory of the future family recreation park should be divided into separate zones according to their intended purpose. For example, in the Rostov country park, there are currently four recreation areas available. There is a large park for children, which is a whole town of houses, swings, slides and other children's entertainment facilities. And for adults there are water, equestrian and coastal zones. Here you can ride catamarans, boats or kayaks, fish, barbecue, ride horses and play sports games.

If desired, on the territory of a country park for family recreation, you can build a huge number of other areas that will be popular with visitors. An excellent addition would be a flying club, where your guests can fly up in a hot air balloon (to get acquainted with this service, we recommend the material about), test their strength in mastering a hang glider, etc. Also on the territory of the park you can build a good one, where the most active vacationers can test their strength in mountaineering and rock climbing. A crossbow and archery shooting range and a cycling club will also be useful.

In addition to a variety of recreation areas, do not forget about expanding the service sector. Offer your guests a truly unforgettable vacation. Go hiking through local forests and meadows. Visit the nearby caves. Arrange a river rafting trip on inflatable rafts. Organize a mountain bike ride or a fishing competition with prizes. Do everything to keep your customers from getting bored.

Think in advance about providing food for your guests. This issue can be resolved in three ways. The first is to allow visitors to bring their own food. The second is to organize the delivery of ready-made dishes from the nearest city restaurant. The third is to open your own on the territory of a family recreation park. The last option is the most expensive, but allows you to create an additional source of profit. Tables can be placed directly on the street. Just don’t forget to build canopies that will protect you from both the scorching sun and precipitation.

Another important point is providing quick medical care. After all, in nature, especially in the forest and near the river, anything can happen. Therefore, it may be worth considering hiring a medical professional who can provide first aid if necessary.

Seasonal business or not?

After all of the above, some readers might think that a country family holiday park is an exclusively seasonal business. Actually this is not true. If desired, such a recreation area can function successfully in winter. After all, no one has canceled numerous winter activities. You can ski, sled and snowboard, engage in exciting winter fishing, play snowballs, build towns out of snow, etc.

The most important thing is your desire to develop a family recreation park. It is necessary to constantly expand the list of services and constantly improve the service. Remember that once a client ends up in your park, he can become your regular client, and even bring his friends. So try to serve each individual client as if they were your only one. And then success and prosperity will definitely await you and your business.

Do you want to feel like a western hero? See a man-made volcano? Or visit the oldest amusement park on the planet? It's cooler than Disneyland!

1. Popeye Village (Anchor Bay, Malta)

The theme park is a group of wooden cabins on Anchor Bay that was originally built for the filming of the musical comedy Popeye, starring Robin Williams. Visitors can stroll through the streets of this fairy-tale town, meet film characters, and choose from a huge number of attractions (don't forget to visit the Popeye the Sailor Comics Museum). 2. Efteling Amusement Park (Kaatsheuvel, Netherlands)

One of the favorite holiday destinations of the Dutch and...paradoxically, but practically not visited by foreigners (according to statistics, 94% of visitors are Dutch). Efteling, a huge theme park in no way inferior to the American Disneyland, was opened in 1952 and is considered one of the oldest amusement parks in the world (its American counterpart was opened in the United States three years later). Rumor has it that it was “Efteling” that inspired Walt Disney to build his own park, and the creators of Disneyland Paris consulted with the Dutch on how to make the park more attractive to Europeans. Among the most exciting rides is the fantastic wooden roller coaster "Joris de Draak", the distinctive feature of which is the presence of two trolleys, which rush parallel to each other at great speed towards dizzying turns and descents. Walking around the park, you will every now and then come across rather nice sculptures of heroes from fairy tales by the Brothers Grimm. Ticket price: from €34, for children under 3 years old – free. Opening hours: July-August – 10:00-20:00, September-June – 10:00-18:00.

3. Vulcania Park (Auvergne, France)

It’s worth learning from the French how to combine business with pleasure: they are the ones who specialize best in creating themed educational and entertainment parks. For history buffs, we recommend chariot races and spectacular cavalry battles in the Puy du Fou historical park, but Vulcania will appeal to fans of natural sciences. The main concept of this theme park is volcanoes and everything connected with them. You will be offered a fascinating tour of the museum, where each of the exhibits is dedicated to one of the most majestic and destructive phenomena of nature, fantastic rides (the Dragon Ride roller coaster accelerates to mind-blowing speeds) and objects. The volcanological park was designed by the Austrian architect Hans Hollen taking into account the general concept: in the center of the park rises a 28-meter cone, two-thirds of which are hidden underground, and the surface is covered with volcanic rock, simulating petrified lava flows. Ticket price for adults: €24, for children: (6-16 years old) €17.

4. Grutas Park (Lithuania)

Have you ever been to or heard about amusement parks dedicated to the era of dinosaurs, where while walking through the forest you constantly come across gigantic statues of these extinct lizards? Grutas Park was built on the same principle, only instead of tyrannosaurs and diplodocus you will come across monuments of Lenin, Marx and Stalin that are no less impressive in their dimensions. The unofficial name of this retro park is “Stalin’s World”. The main idea behind creating the park was the desire to preserve what was left of the Lithuanian Soviet Socialist Republic, which ceased to exist back in 1991. In addition to the collection of 86 sculptures scattered throughout the grounds, you will also see darker reminders of the totalitarian regime - watchtowers and fragments of various objects from concentration camps. But even in such a rather gloomy place, the creators organized a place for children's recreation - a typical Soviet amusement park with attractions and a small zoo. Ticket price for adults: £4.35, for children: (6-16 years) £2.20. Opening hours: in winter from 09:00 to 17:00, in summer from 09:00 to 22:00.

5. Siam Park (Tenerife, Spain)

If you don't have the opportunity to visit Thailand, don't despair. You can get acquainted with the culture of this country by visiting...Tenerife! The huge water amusement park "Siam", built in 2008, will offer you incredible water attractions that will increase the level of adrenaline in your blood to a critical level - which is worth only the 28-meter almost vertical slide "Tower of Power"! Those who don't like risk can take a boat ride on the river or sunbathe on the beach. Ticket price for adults: €34, for children: (3-11 years old) €23. Opening hours: May-October – 10:00-18:00, November-April – 10:00-17:00.

6. Amusement park "Minitalia Leolandia" (Lombardy, Italy)

If you find yourself lulled to sleep by a tour of Milan's sights, or if your kids are simply bored out of their minds, just an hour's drive from the city there is a wonderful place that will help you perk up. The children's theme park has been rebuilt and updated several times in recent years: a separate area dedicated to the characters of the cartoon Peppa Pig, and Cowboy Town, where young fans of Westerns can have plenty of fun. The park also offers a wide range of entertainment for every taste: rides, a mini-zoo, various performances with the participation of fairy-tale characters. Ticket price for adults: €13.50, preferential categories: €12.50. Opening hours: daily from 10:00 to 18:00.

7. Bakken Amusement Park (Klampenborg, Denmark)

Bet you didn't know that the Bakken is the oldest amusement park in the world? We must admit, at first we were also surprised. Located just 10 minutes north of Copenhagen, the park will delight visitors with its unusual appearance and age - after all, this attraction has existed since 1583! Unfortunately, very few people outside Denmark know about it, so the number of foreign tourists compared to the Danes is extremely small. And, although the park will be difficult to compete in attractiveness with modern “high-tech” sites with their amazing rides and entertainment, “Bakken” has something to offer you: a huge roller coaster called “Rutschebanen”, built back in 1932, will give you a lot of emotions and impressions. The park is ideal for a family holiday: tranquility and comfort combined with charming landscapes will delight both you and your children. Ticket price for adults: £24, for children: £17. Opening hours: from March 26 to August 30 (check the time on the website).

8. Tripsdril Amusement Park (Germany)

Opened in 1929, Tripsdril is the oldest theme park in Germany - and, most amazingly, it has been owned by the Fischer family all this time. The huge park boasts a modern wooden roller coaster called Mammut, 860 meters long, as well as water slides. We also recommend visiting the wildlife park - about 130 species are kept here in conditions as close as possible to natural ones, including wild horses, arctic wolves, bears and birds of prey. Ticket price for adults and children over 12 years old: €28.50, for children 4-11 years old: €24.50, children under 4 years old: free. Opening hours: from March 28 to November 8 – 09:00-18:00 (from November to March, the wildlife park is open only on weekends from 09:00 to 17:00).

“Area 47” is a huge sports and entertainment complex on the banks of the Otsaler-Ahe River and a real mecca for extreme sports enthusiasts - those who were hoping to take a peaceful nap in the shade have nothing to do here. The park offers visitors a wide variety of entertainment that will take your breath away: a huge 30-meter swing, a rope course under the bridge, a climbing wall, a water park, water skiing and various slides. Fans of blobbing, rafting, canyoning, carving and extreme cycling will also find something to their liking.

10. High Chapparal Park (Sweden)

Built in the style of the Wild West, “High Chapparral” will surprise you from the very first second with its striking resemblance to any of the film sets of famous American Westerns. Moreover, there is even a steam locomotive driving around this makeshift town! You will be offered various performances, completely in the spirit of cowboy romance - with explosions, shootouts and people falling out of saloon windows. Ticket price (per day) - from £16.50. Opening hours: 10:00-16:00 (May 30-August 16, August 21-23, August 28-30).
