Their rights to pledge - a controlling stake in the holding and its constituent structures - were declared by ONEXIM and NPF Blagosostoyanie. The parties reached an agreement on the transfer of 90% of the shares of all assets of Nogotkov, united by Trellas, but the transfer of assets did not take place due to disagreements at the stage of signing documents.

Two months earlier, Nogotkov planned to sell a 51% stake in the Svyaznoy retailer to MTS and pay off creditors with the money received. The transaction, which the Federal Antimonopoly Service managed to approve, did not take place due to the placement of the main shareholder of AFK Sistema (the largest co-owner of MTS) Vladimir Yevtushenkov under house arrest.

After that, the ONEXIM group sold the rights to claim debt to the Cypriot Trellas Enterprises Limited, the head structure of all Nogotkov's assets, on an overdue loan to the Solvers group of Oleg Malis.

At the end of December 2014, Maxim Nogotkov signed a transfer order on the transfer of a controlling stake in Trellas to Malisa. However, he withdrew it after only two days. After that, creditors launched a struggle for the possession of various assets. In January 2015, NPF Blagosostoyanie put up for auction a pledge on an overdue loan, consisting of 15% of Svyaznoy shares - and bought the package from Trellas at a discount. A similar auction was scheduled for January 30 by Promsvyazbank, it could buy out its part of the pledge - 51% of Svyaznoy N.V. These and similar deals, which Malys called illegal, were halted by the Amsterdam District Court until the issue of control of Trellas was resolved.

After analyzing its mistakes, Maxus in 2001 reached the position of the leader in terms of wholesale volumes with an annual turnover of more than 100 million dollars. In the same year, the company bought six Artex communication stores for $100,000.

At first, the activity seemed to Maxim uninteresting and unprofitable, because. small turnovers at retail were incomparable with wholesale trade.
