Description
This system is designed for stationary, selective storage of glass in both open and closed wooden boxes. The design consists of longitudinally movable cassettes moving along two rail guides. Cassettes have an inclination relative to the vertical, they move on a support module with a bearing assembly (6 wheels). The system of synchronization or anti-skew protection is made of two gear racks mounted on guides and two gears (gears) interconnected by a steel shaft. Cassettes are easily moved by hand, including several at a time. The end cassettes are fixed and rigidly fixed to the base. Movable cassettes, at the request of the customer, can be equipped with an electric drive and a control system for automatic targeted movement. Sliding warehouses of the "Strongman" series are guides made of a rectangular metal profile, with mobile sections located on them for storing sheet glass and boxes of a given size and load capacity.
Sections are metal frames, the dimensions of which depend on the specified parameters of glass boxes, located at an inclination of 5%. The base of each section has a chassis consisting of two "skis", inside of which two pairs of steel wheels are staggered on each side of the section. Steel wheels with a flange, like those of a locomotive, with bearings pressed inward, are located on a shaft inside the "skis". This combination of location and layout of the wheels provides 100% stability to the sections. Any attempt to turn over even a free-standing section will only result in its translational movement along the guide, but not overturning.
The movement of sections is carried out by the operator using radio remote control or manually, depending on the modification of the warehouse. The warehouse control unit is located in close proximity to the geared motor. The motor-reducer is connected to the "control section". At the command of the operator, the motor-reducer pushes the control section in one direction or another. The number of sections that will be moved by the motor-reducer depends on where in the warehouse they were disconnected by the operator using a special pedal.
For the convenience of the operator, the warehouse is equipped with a technical passage from 600 to 1000 mm.
