Is it easy to be the director of St. Petersburg, and not even one year? The answer to this question was understood during the interview with Kalinina Svetlana - A successful lawyer today and a student of the Faculty of Law in the past.

Kalinina Svetlana Aleksandrovna - The graduate of the 2013 tower, which has led the student legal bureau for two school years. Svetlana began its activities in St. Petersburg as an intern being in the second year and until the end of the university worked for the benefit of the student organization and, of course, for the benefit of the population of Nizhny Novgorod, in need of free legal aid.

And: how did you differ from other students?

FROM: I was the director after all. If we talk about my character, it seems to me that I could never "score" and relax. If there were current problems in St. Petersburg, discontent from the guys or customers - I considered it personal problems. But meanwhile, St. Petersburg taught me and a calm attitude towards difficult situations, that is, the absence of panicity and concentration on solving the difficulties arising.

And: remember your first client or the first thing you are allowed?

FROM: I do not remember, since the first thing was so difficult for me that I just did not understand the essence of the question (laughs). With that client, the eldest guys then communicated, because I was only on the 2nd year. I remember well the client with whom I went to court. We lost. As I understand now (I remember the essence, I remember very well), it was a very complex and confused case, ambiguous. The client in itself was also not the simplest, to be honest (smiles). She then called me about and without, asked any little-old questions related to the right questions at any time of the day and night ... Since then, I rarely give your room to customers (smiles).

And: work in St. Petersburg helped your further professional activities?

C: Certainly. Not so much knowledge as the skills of circulation with knowledge and communicative skills. Frankly, it is really difficult to learn something right in St. Petersburg ... Not all consultations are distinguished by high literacy. But! SPb gives practice, very useful in another sense!

How did your career begins in the company?

I came to Megapolis in 2003 to the post of credit controller, and before that he worked as a customer service manager in a financial institution. The company attracted me that it was a major distributor with good reputation and opportunities for professional and career growth. The credit department in the "megapolis" was then only created, and I had to learn a lot. So it happened: after a year and a half I became a senior credit controller, and after five years, the Deputy Head of the Department. In my opinion, the management estimated my initiative, the generation of ideas and their incarnation, as well as the willingness to replace colleagues if such a need appeared.

What achievements are you proud of?

During my work as the head of the Credit Department of the Treasury, the volume of overdue debt of clients before the company has significantly decreased, which made it possible to improve receivability indicators of receivables and reduce the volume of work capital involved. Together with the sales department, we automated work with key counterparties, analyzed the quality of the payment discipline, finalized and automated the solvency assessment systems and the verification of counterparties.

And how did the company raise your merits?

I was awarded the gold badge "For the contribution to the development of the company." At that time, this award was received by only 20 managers of the company in the number of states of 14.5 thousand employees. For me it was a high honor to be among the valuable employees of Megapolis.


The owners of Megapolis have foreign shareholders. How does their presence affect the corporate culture and the style of the company's work?

We are a transparent company, and it guarantees paid vacation and white salary. We also get subsidies for food in corporate dining and medical insurance. Every year we have a staff assessment. It allows managers to constantly improve their skills, receive additional education and predict the increase in wages when achieving a certain result. However, periodic recycling to me is not terrible: thanks to new projects and difficult tasks, I professionally rag. For example, in 2015, we opened a Joint Customer Service Center in Samara. I directly participated in this process and is very pleased with how cool we did everything.

How do new IT technologies affect the work of your department?

Gradually, computers are started to fulfill all the routine work: non-payers are automatically charged penalties - before we did it manually. Now each client receives a personal account on our website, where he can see if he has indebted.

In the "Megapolis" a large staff, many regional offices throughout Russia. How do you communicate with each other?

We communicate by email. Once a quarter comes out a corporate magazine, which tells about the work of various departments. On our domestic portal there is a section for new employees. It paints the structure of the company, instructions, responsibilities of managers. If a newcomer is not clear, he can ask the administrator questions through a special form "Question - Answer".

Therefore, you need to dilute everything with visual content: infographics, photos from a removable site, photo of people working on a project. All this goes only for the benefit of the project.


It is strange for me why our cinematographers use little by video. Here I am watching a lot of film projects, and I find out to be surprised that most of them do not contain video illustration. A short roller maximum for two minutes will play especially well if there is a viral effect in it.

Promotion of the project

It is clear that the whole story with crowdfunding is "about money", but let's talk about such a thing as bonuses. Working on the film, you get also a bunch of friends who will tell about this to their friends and so on and in every way to promote the film. For example, I'm working with Mikhail Zadornov over the project about Oleg. He rummaged a bunch of literature for this, he has a lot of information. One day a person from Ukraine has contacted him, who writes that he knows the place that Oleg has visited, and is ready to show, tell Zadornov, what it is and how it is. What is the difference between crowdfunding from charity? Here the money is not just like that.


Sponsors get a gift instead. I gave 100 rubles, for this I will see my name in the credits. And I will drag everyone: here look, my name. Sarafan radio works twice. The first time - when you launch the project on the site and get 50-100 rubles from sponsors, which, of course, is nice themselves. The second time - when the sponsor receives its remuneration.

Many offer the following remuneration. 100 rubles - "Thank you." 1000 rubles - "Thank you very much." And that's it. It is not right. There is another mistake that creators make. For 100 rubles - I thank you on my page in the social network. For 300 rubles - I will send an electronic certificate with gratitude. For 500 rubles - a paper certificate with gratitude. For a thousand - certificate in the frame. Etc. It is very bad, because one thanks you will not be fed.

There must be five levels of rewards. How can I thank "Right"? The first is the product itself. You can offer sponsors the film itself. And you can make a gradation: for 200 rubles you can offer a link to view movies a week before its official release; For 400 rubles - DVD. Bonuses are very well working that involve sponsors in the film itself, for example, a secondary role in the film and the indication of the name of the sponsor on the poster (well, in the credits, of course). There are things that work on the human vanity, a sense of self-like - for example, insert a sponsor image in a frame, he will be happy to such a surprise. And finally, contacts: All the possibilities of social networks should be provided to sponsors so that they felt like a direct member. I really like this idea when the sponsor can via Twitter or through "Vkontakte" ask any question, thus feeling yourself with a direct member of the process.

And there is still such a thing that is very popular in the West, it is called "Big IDEA". If we translate into Russian, "Mission". Any film, which we remove, must carry a mission, overhaul, he solves some kind of problem, brings it to the viewer. Some measure that unites people. How it works in practice: the same Zadornov says that it makes a film not just about the meaning of Oleg, he writes that it will be a movie about our state, it combines us. In this film, there will be something that no textbook has ever talked. Such things work very well.

For example, we need a camera. We do not write that we need money for the camera, but we write: I take off the movie, which will show how Moscow became. Promotion of the project

We are all dependent on the promotion of our film. The author was preparing, prepared, launched and ... what to do next - it is not clear. If you take a movie, it is logical in parallel to create a public in Vkontakte or other social networks and to catch people there. This is, first of all, friends, relatives, acquaintances. But do not forget about your operators, artists and other members of the shooting group. I do not know very well the film processing process from the inside, but in each group there is a person who will always protect your film from the "enemies". Such a defender must necessarily be, and it must be attracted to work in social networks. This is the audience that learns about you.

Bloggers are a unique resource. Each of them has 200 or 200,000 subscribers - does not matter. It matters that they are listening to them.

But bloggers are not interested in writing about the film that is not. Therefore, you need to have some kind of material or dial a certain amount, and then write to bloggers.
