In November 2014, the financial group of Mikhail Prokhorov "ONEXIM" notified Nogotkov of the default - he overdue the loan repayment, the collateral for which was 51% of Trellas. The debt, according to some sources, by that time amounted to more than $ 500 million.

ONEXIM and NPF Blagosostoyanie declared their rights to the pledge - a controlling stake in the holding and its member structures. The parties reached an agreement on the transfer of 90% of the shares of all assets of Nogotkov, united by Trellas, but the transfer of assets did not take place due to disagreements at the stage of signing the documents.

Two months earlier, Nogotkov planned to sell 51% of the shares of the Svyaznoy retailer to MTS and pay off the creditors with the money received. The deal, which the Federal Antimonopoly Service managed to approve, did not take place due to the placement of the main shareholder of AFK Sistema (the largest co-owner of MTS) Vladimir Yevtushenkov under house arrest.

After that, the ONEXIM group sold the rights of claim to the Cypriot Trellas Enterprises Limited, the parent structure of all Nogotkov's assets, on an overdue loan to the Solvers group of Oleg Malis.

At the end of December 2014, Maxim Nogotkov signed a transfer order on the transfer of a controlling stake in Trellas to Malisa. However, he recalled it just two days later. After that, creditors started a fight for the possession of various assets. NPF "Blagosostoyanie" in January 2015 put up for auction a collateral on an overdue loan, consisting of 15% of Svyaznoy's shares - and itself bought the stake from Trellas at a discount. A similar auction was planned for January 30 by Promsvyazbank, it could redeem its part of the collateral - 51% of Svyaznoy N.V. These and similar deals, which Malis described as illegal, were stopped by the Amsterdam District Court until the issue of control over Trellas is resolved.

The company provides an extended range of services, including additional warranties for devices, setting up and installing applications, paying for the Internet, digital TV, utilities, purchase of air tickets and much more. Having analyzed its mistakes, the Maxus firm in 2001 reached the position of the leader in terms of wholesale with an annual turnover of more than $ 100 million. In the same year, the company bought six Artex communication shops for a total of $ 100,000.

At first, the activity seemed to Maxim uninteresting and unprofitable, since low retail turnover was incomparable with wholesale trade. Nevertheless, he decided to expand the network and by the end of the summer of 2001 the number of outlets increased by eight. They were bought from the Grand Prix chain.

At the same time, the creation of a single common network was started, on which Alexey Chebotka, who is the Marketing Director of the Maximum radio station, worked. The result was the birth of the new Svyaznoy brand in the spring of 2002.

The first Svyaznoy chain consisted of 81 Moscow stores, taking the lead in relation to Euroset and Techmarket, which had slightly more than 70 stores.

Further, by 2005, the company set itself the task of making a turnover of 1.2 billion dollars and expanding the network to 400 points of sale. As a result, the number of Svyaznoy stores increased to 450, but the desired turnover was not achieved.
