Mk - a brooch made of polymer clay. Creation of a brooch "Poppy" from polymer clay. Master class with a photo How to make a brooch of polymer clay

I made this bird two weeks ago, and there was no time to lay out a master class on it. And they called this handsome man a gray-throated long-tailed larvaeater :)

Here it is, the real one ...

To begin with, as in my previous master classes, we examine the animal, and then we start creating a brooch :)

We need:

Polymer clay, black and gray-brown;

Acrylic paints (black, white, red, yellow, brown, blue);

Wire;

Brooch base;

Stack with a ball;

Hands and desire to create!

Go! :)

We draw a template of the required size, and we will check with it.

We sculpt a body and a head from a piece of black clay.

Separately we make a part of the wing and tail.

We stick to the body and smooth it.

With a stack with a ball, we make a recess for an oval-shaped eye, and with a needle draw a line from the outer corner of the eye to the back of the head.

Also with a needle we outline the outlines of the beak. Making a voluminous eye from a small piece of clay

The bird turned out to be flat, so we grow the belly.

And again we smooth out all the joints.

We also make the volume on the wing, and cut the feathers with a blade.

We cut through the slightly visible second wing with the blade.

And again with a needle we push through the remaining feathers-villi.

From wire we twist such a structure for a twig and legs.

We stick it with clay and insert it into place, stick our fingers.

I chose the base for the brooch with such a round thing.

We bake for 25 minutes at the temperature specified for your clay (I have 130 C).

And now the most interesting and important thing is painting :) The final appearance of the product depends on it.

Here is my "palette" :) We need this color scheme for coloring the bird's head. A bit black, dark gray with a bit of blue and light gray also with blue, white.

First cover with light gray, as shown in the photo below.

Then we paint the upper part of the head with dark gray and make a strip from the beak to the lower inner edge of the eye.

Next, with separate strokes of dark gray, light gray, white and black, we go over the top of the head and wing. I made several layers until I was satisfied with the result. The rest I indicated in the photo.

Then we cover the tummy well with white paint. So light colors will be brighter and more beautiful than if we immediately painted over black.

Stretching from yellow to red.

First, paint in yellow.

Then, with separate strokes and patting, we alternately apply all shades of yellow-red. In the upper part of the breast and on the sides, add more red, in the middle and bottom - yellow and peach. Next to the legs, draw a white strip and stretch it in an arc to the top, as in the photo.

Add brown to the same shades and paint the tail. We also draw a red speck on the wing and white stripes. We go along the branch with a semi-dry brush with white paint.

We cover with a glossy varnish for polymer clay the eye, legs, the black part of the wing and the back of the brooch.

And finally, the chick is ready! I hope you enjoy my master class and come in handy :) Thank you for your attention! All inspiration and success in your work! :)

I give master classes every week in my studio in the Kalinka store Polinka and the girls have long been asking to sculpt something based on Gapchinskaya. Adorable children with ruddy cheeks just ask to become a talisman for happiness) They breathe with childhood, tenderness and sincerity.

When I myself tried to sculpt the face of such a baby, I was faced with the fact that it would be difficult for me to teach this in two hours to ten people. Therefore, I came up with a method for sculpting a girl's brooch from polymer clay, available for beginners, which I offer you today.

To begin with, we prepare a drawing of a baby whom we will sculpt. In the photo I drew a girl. She looks bigger than I mold. All photographs were taken a little larger than in real life, for greater clarity. This is not exactly what I sculpt, this is a girl no outfit template, you can come up with your own design.

In order to get started, you need to print the blank in two copies. In one version, cut out the face and make holes in the eyes, nose and mouth. It sounds awful, but it will help)

We start sculpting from the neck, then the face on top will be slightly larger than in the picture.

Then we apply a template with holes and outline the points where the eyes, nose and mouth will be. We put pieces of polymer clay into these recesses. The nose can be put on the gel, the eyes are very small balls, just press in. For the mouth I draw a hollow.

Then I do the eyelids. To do this, I roll two tiny flagella with dots over the eyes.

I rub the pastel crayons into dust back side knife and a soft brush I apply paint. I make the cheeks pink and apply a more red color to the lips, eyelids and forehead. WE BAKE. Intermediate baking is necessary so that we are no longer afraid to ruin our face when we do our hair and outfit.

After baking, add hair. We think geometrically to imagine what's in the foreground and what's in the second. We begin to sculpt from the far - legs and arms, and on top there is already a dress or suit. I will have a bunny. From the drawing, the clay can get dirty on the back, especially the white one. Therefore, to maintain the proportion, the drawing can be pushed a little and turned upside down or sculpted without it:

I sculpt the main details with my hands, and give the texture with dots. It is difficult to sculpt with white clay due to the fact that any specks of dust are clearly visible on white. Sculpt with gloves. Pay attention to their size, most often size S fits all, fits the hand tightly and does not interfere with sculpting. Applying the texture with dots also helps to get rid of small dust particles:

If desired, you can add shadows and volume using pastels. I apply blue pastels with a brush to the places of folds on clothes, where the hands and torso meet, etc .:

Now let's get to the back of the brooch. First I apply a layer of polymer clay. I don't use a knife, I just stretch thin layer on the surface of the body, ears and limbs I leave without a background. Then I press with any texture (you can use scrap stamps, sandpaper or linen cloth). We attach a brooch:

Cut out a patch from a small layer and glue it on top, you can press it with a dots or a toothpick for strength. For reliability, you can glue the layers with gel, but this is not necessary. We bake, bake is a must!

And on the wave have a good mood and inspiration we sculpt 10 more of these brooches-girls from polymer clay for gifts! Remember that very soon March 8)

There is never too much cute:

Winter is gradually giving way to spring, and the warmth is getting closer and closer. However, nothing prevents you from remembering snowy days - for example, adding a cute winter accessory to your look, a brooch-mittens made of polymer clay. Polymer clay offers unlimited possibilities for creating jewelry and accessories. This amazing material will let your imagination unfold for real! Thanks to step by step master class You can easily create such a cute brooch - the miniature mittens look just like real ones, and it seems as if they were actually tied by little winter elves. Surround yourself with magic all year round!

For work we need:

1. On the sheet for patterns "Gamma", art .: PSM-01, draw the outline of the mittens, cut out the template.

2. Roll out the blue Craft & Clay, ref .: CCH with an acrylic rolling pin “Craft & Clay”, ref .: CCQ-04, which is very convenient to use due to its transparency and perfectly flat surface that allows rolling out an even layer.

3. Using the template, cut out the outline of the blue clay mitten with an art knife "Craft & Clay", ref .: CCQ-05. Flip the template over and cut out the second mitten.

4. Let's outline the contours of the future pattern.

5. Roll out a layer of white polymer clay "Craft & clay", put a rubber stamp "Craft & Clay", art .: CCQ-08, on top, then carefully remove it so as not to damage the resulting relief.

6. Select the desired pattern and cut a rectangle to fit the middle part of the mittens. Using the template, we will align the contour of the mittens.

7. Roll out the blue Craft & clay into 2mm thick sausages.

8. Twist the two sausages together to create an imitation knitted texture. It is necessary to twist several flagella - first in one direction, then in another.

9. Lay out the pattern, alternating flagella. Let's try to connect them together, but don't press too hard or damage the texture.

10. Put the resulting blanks on the mittens and cut along the contour using a template.

11. Make a hole with a toothpick. Then bake for ten minutes at 120 degrees.

12. After baking, tint the white pattern with VISTA-ARTISTA pastel, art .: VASP-36, to make it more expressive. Carefully "stain" the finger and lightly walk along the upper surface of the relief.

In this master class, we will learn how to make a bright and memorable decoration - a brooch "Poppy" made of polymer clay.

Work description.

We make a large drop of green polymer clay, put it on a toothpick, fix the toothpick on a piece of clay - for ease of use

With the help of a clerical knife for scrapbooking, we make notches.

With the help of nail scissors, we cut each sector from below.

Cut off the resulting core of the future poppy from the drop.

We make a small cake from green clay, on which we attach the stamens.

On top we make another cake and again a few stamens.

We attach the core that was cut off.

Let's start making petals. You need to roll 2 small balls and 3 larger ones from red clay. Flatten the ball with your fingers and form the petals. Using a toothpick, we add texture by simply rolling it over the petal

We attach 2 small petals to the core.

We fix the remaining petals.

Place the resulting flower on the brooch base.

We bake at a temperature of 110 degrees for 10 - 15 minutes. On a pin with an eye, we put a cap for a bead, a bead, a leaf, with the help of round-nose pliers we form a ring.

We put on beads and leaves on thin chains of different lengths using connecting rings.

We attach them to the brooch base behind the flower.

We tint the core and its circumference with black paint.

Lightly tint the surface of the stamens with white paint. Mix some varnish with glittering powder and cover the core, but so that the green clay is slightly translucent. We cover the whole flower with a simple polymer clay varnish.

Drying time of varnish from 24 hours. The brooch is ready!
