Why the parcel got stuck in the sorting center. The parcel left the sorting center: what does it mean? The letter left the sorting center: what does it mean? The parcel is stuck at the stage of customs clearance

Sending and receiving letters, parcels, parcels is part of modern life... Every day, millions of people receive the coveted boxes or envelopes. "Russian Post" provides many services, one of which is tracking the parcel. What does it mean: "Left the sorting center"? What other statuses are there? if her number is not tracked? About this in the article.

Post office

Russian, which is the operator of the postal network and a backbone enterprise, is the Russian Post. What does it mean: "Left the sorting center"? This status is often encountered by senders or recipients using mail services. If a client sends a parcel, letter or parcel post, then a special track number is assigned to the shipment. With its help, you can track the location.

"Russian Post" offers its customers different kinds services (reception, processing, transportation, delivery, translations), exchange of written correspondence, international postage. In addition, the domestic company stores postal items, goods, cargo, distributes advertising, issues pensions, benefits, payments, accepts housing and utility payments, signs and distributes periodicals. Russian Post is also engaged in printing activities (creates and distributes postcards, stamps, envelopes, albums, catalogs), sells various goods wholesale and retail.

Many people are interested in: is the mail working well? What does it mean: "Left the sorting center"? This status may mean that the package or letter is on the way and will soon arrive at its destination. "Russian Post", despite the criticism of this organization, is working properly. In the last year alone, it delivered more than 50% of orders from online stores. This is almost two hundred million parcels, one hundred and thirty million of which are international shipments. Most of its income comes from financial services, letter post, parcels and EMS shipments. The structure of the company includes the central administrative office, which consists of 22 subdivisions and 10 macro-regional branches.

Peculiarities

What does it mean: "Left the sorting center"? This is the question asked by the clients of "Russian Post", all who are recipients. The sorting center is automated. It sorts letters, parcels, parcels by branches and district post offices and processes outgoing items from all over the country. After the sender has put the envelope in the mailbox, it is taken out, sent to the post office, weighed and stamped with the date. Then the letters are taken to the sorting center.

More than a thousand employees work at such an enterprise. In terms of area, the center occupies twenty-nine thousand square meters, and it is located in Podolsk (Moscow region). What does it mean: "Left the sorting center"? This status means that the letter or parcel is sent to the recipient's post office. It is determined by the index. In addition to letters, parcels, parcels, EMS items, valuable items, registered letters and departures. Sorting by time lasts twenty hours. Three million shipments pass through the center every day.

Statuses

Status "Left the sorting center" - what does it mean? Before the addressee receives the parcel, it goes through many different stages. For example, the status "sorting" means that the shipment is still in the sorting center. Parcels are in special export bags, which are opened, sorted and repackaged. The status "Arrived at the sorting center" means that the package has been delivered for sorting and distribution. If the shipment "Arrived at the place of international exchange", it is at customs, within the country or awaiting shipment abroad. The designation "Left the place of international exchange" confirms the export operation.

What does it mean: "The parcel has left the sorting center"? If the recipient, after entering the identifier number on the site, saw this status, then the parcel will soon arrive at the post office. The final designation "arrived at the place of delivery" means that the recipient should contact the post office and pick up the shipment. Do not forget to take your passport in this case.

Identifier

If the parcel has left the sorting facility, it means that it will soon reach the recipient. The tracking number of the shipment comes to the rescue or mail ID... This is a unique code of numbers that is assigned to all parcels. There is an internal Russian track number and an international one. Usually it is indicated on the check, which is issued after the registration of the shipment. If the parcel was sent after purchasing the item in the online store, the client is sent an identifier that can be used to track the shipment.

To do this, go to the "Russian Post" website, enter a number consisting of fourteen digits divided into semantic parts, click "OK". After processing the information, the user will see information about the status of the shipment. If the status "Lviv. Left the sorting center" does not change for a long time, it means that the parcel is already in. If the information has not been updated for a long time, it is possible that the shipment has been waiting for the recipient for a long time.

How much goes

What does it mean: "Processing. Left the sorting center"? If the recipient, after entering the unique identifier number, found such an inscription, this may mean that the parcel is still in the center or has recently been sent. In terms of time on the territory of Russia, parcels take about two weeks, depending on the distance, weather conditions and other factors.

Letter

What does it mean: "The letter has left the sorting center"? This status sometimes means that the information on the site has not been updated for a long time. In the center, operators receive incoming letters, read the barcode, and register. All data are uploaded to the official website of the Russian Post. You can track the path of the letter using the identifier. Containers with letter post, express mail and parcels are distributed among the workshops. Sorting process but not complete. Employees scan each correspondence manually and log it.

Package

What does it mean: "The parcel has left the sorting center"? This status often indicates that it has been sorted and shipped to its destination. In Podolsk, parcels are distributed across six automated lines. The first is used for international shipments, the second is used for small goods, and the rest are for regular parcels. Parcels are loaded onto manually, parcels are scanned and sorted automatically. In addition, they are checked for the presence of explosive substances.

One of the most topical issues for buyers is what they need to do if the package gets stuck at some stage of tracking (that is, tracking statuses do not change long time). In this post, we will discuss the reasons why packages can get stuck. And we will give advice on what actions can be taken if the parcel is not moving anywhere.

Why doesn't the tracking status change for a long time?

First of all, I want to reassure everyone and say that in a situation where the tracking status does not change, this does not mean at all that the parcel is not coming to you.

1. The track number of the parcel is tracked only until the moment of crossing the border.
The most common reason a package hangs is that it was sent using a budget method. And will only be tracked to the recipient country. After passing the border, the track number will not be read. Such tracks do not meet the standards of postal services (for example, track numbers consisting of numbers). Many buyers do not know about this and, when tracking, they see that the parcel has reached the border and the information is not updated further. As a result, it seems to them that their order is not going anywhere further, but in fact it has been going through the territory of the recipient's country for a long time.

It's also worth noting that some budget shipping methods only have a couple of tracking statuses. In which it is said that the parcel was accepted by mail and sent further. This completes the tracking of this track.

2. The package goes through the import process.
It is believed that the export-import process is one of the longest stages in the movement of a parcel. In some seasons, parcels may freeze for 1-2 months at the sorting center before the shipment is registered with the post office in your country and the new tracking status appears. This may be due to the fact that the parcel goes through sorting centers with a large load and outdated equipment, and seasonal congestion (during sales). And also with banal bad luck, when your parcel ends up in the far corner of the temporary storage warehouse and waits for its turn for registration.

3. Delays in updating the parcel tracking databases.

Another reason that the status of the parcel has stopped updating - delays in updating the tracking database. Sometimes the buyer can receive his order before new information about the movement of the parcel appears. Especially famous for this

4. Loss and theft of the parcel.

This option is quite rare. There are practically no situations when a package disappears without a trace. Often at least an empty box comes to the buyer.

What to do if the parcel is frozen?

If your package has started to be tracked, then for any reason it hangs you will have to wait. At least until it expires. But in reality, it is better to open a dispute due to the "Order protection expiring, but the package is still in transit" a few days before the buyer's protection timer expires. Since if you open a dispute quite early and aggravate it, then the Aliexpress mediators, first of all, seeing that the track number has been tracked, will ask you to wait for the parcel. Since they are interested in the deal taking place. And you still have to wait for the goods, only with an open dispute.

Note that mediators are more willing to accept disputes if the defense timer is almost over, or better, it was previously extended and the period expires again. There is no point in opening a dispute early if the goods were actually sent by the seller and the track number was tracked.

In any case, wherever your package hangs, wait patiently for it, periodically glancing at the buyer's protection timer and tracking the track number. To exclude the option of moving and receiving a parcel sent to the wrong address.

If the track number has ceased to be updated on the territory of your country, and you are interested in receiving the parcel, and not only in refunding the money, then you can submit

Friends! Tell me please!

If the parcel left the sorting center of my city on 03/05/13 at 9 am. Can I safely go with a passport and documents with my address (which I requested from the seller) to receive my parcel in the morning of the next day? Or sit on the priest level and wait for the status update?
The package was sent by regular Russian Post.

What does the status "Left the sorting center" mean?

The status "Left the sorting center" in the tracking of mailings means that your shipment has been scanned at the sorting center in your city and is preparing to be loaded onto a vehicle that will deliver it directly to the post office (place of issue). Those. this status does not mean that the parcel physically leaves the sorting center. But, as a rule, the parcel still leaves the sorting center on the day this status appears and must be delivered to the post office on the same day.

When can I receive a parcel if the status is "Left the sorting center" in my city?

It all depends on the practice of your post office. Formally, you can (without waiting for the notification or the status "Arrived at the place of delivery") go to the post office the next day and present the tracking number of the parcel there. In the vast majority of cases, your shipment is physically already at the post office.

But there are several nuances here:

1) Physically, the parcel may already be in the software, but it has not yet been processed and its number has not been entered into the accounting program of the Russian Post. Those. software workers simply will not find your shipment in the database. That. it all depends on the speed of processing incoming mail in your software.

2) The Russian Post database is not updated online. Updates take place 2-3 times a day. Therefore, it may turn out that your shipment has already been accepted and processed in the software, added to the database, but the database has not been updated. Those. the parcel is already ready for delivery, but you do not see the corresponding status yet.

Considering the above, it is best to send to the mail only when you already see the status "Arrived at the place of delivery".

Delivery to the addressee

Handing over to the recipient

Means the actual receipt of the postal item by the recipient indicated in the postal item.

Flew to destination country

The postal item will be handed over to the mail of the country of destination, for delivery to one of the places of international postal exchange, and subsequent import / export operations.

This may take 3 to 10 days.

The postal item departed from the airport of the country of origin and is being sent to the country of destination.

After the parcel leaves the territory of the sender's country and enters the country of destination, such items are re-marked with untraceable track codes and are no longer tracked.

When the parcel arrives at your post office, you will receive a paper notice, with which you must come to the post office and receive the parcel.

If information about the goods sent to the IGO is absent or does not correspond to the actual ones, this significantly increases the time spent on processing the items, since it becomes necessary to conduct customs inspection and documenting its results.

Submission

The parcel was sent to the wrong index or address, found an error and redirected the parcel to the correct address.

Import of international mail

The operation of receiving a shipment in the recipient's country.

All mail arriving at the site Russian Federation with flights, begins his journey in the aviation department of mail transportation (AOPP) - a special postal warehouse at the airport. Within 4-6 hours from the plane, the shipments arrive at the AOPP, the containers are registered, their integrity and weight are checked. Mail is registered in an electronic database. When registering, a barcode is scanned, data is entered about where the container is addressed (for example, MMPO "Moscow"), from which flight it arrived, about the country and date of formation of the container, etc. The time of these operations can be increased from 1 to 7x days due to the limited capacity of AOPP.

The next operation after export from the country of origin, which is reflected on the site when tracking the shipment, is import to the country of destination. The import information appears after the shipment is handed over by the carrier to the postal operator of the country of destination. Operation "Import" means that the shipment entered the territory of Russia and was registered. International shipments arrive in Russia through the International Postal Exchange (MMPO). There are several MMPOs in Russia: in Moscow, Novosibirsk, Orenburg, Samara, Petrozavodsk, St. Petersburg, Kaliningrad, Bryansk. The choice of the city where exactly the international shipment will arrive depends on the country of the sender. The choice depends on the availability of regular flights and free carrying capacity in one direction or another.
