SAFE

CHILDREN'S BEHAVIOR IN

INTERNET

The Internet is an excellent source for new knowledge, helps in learning, takes leisure. But at the same time,The network is fraught with many dangers.. remember, that safety of your children on the Internet, 90% depends on you.

Internet scammers are trying to attract attention and win over the child. Usually they are well aware of the latest musical innovations and modern hobbies of children, they try to listen to the problems of teenagers and sympathize with them. The following signs may mean that your child is being targeted by an attacker:

Your child spends a lot of time on the Internet.

Sometimes he closes the door to his room and hides what he does while sitting at the computer.

In the family computer appeared materials of explicit content.

Your child is getting calls from people you don't know, or he calls numbers you don't know.

Your child receives letters, gifts, or packages from someone you don't know.

Your child shuns family and friends and quickly turns off the computer monitor or if an adult enters the room.

In order to secure your

family from the dangers of the Internet, observe the following general rules its usage:

- Make it a rule to get acquainted with the sites that your children visit. Make sure they don't visit sites with offensive content, don't post personal information or photos of themselves.

- Explain that illegal copying of someone else's work - music, computer games and other programs - is theft.

- Insist that teens notify you if anyone online threatens them. Never allow children to meet face-to-face with online acquaintances without adult supervision.

- Create a set of house rules for using the Internet with the participation of children and require strict adherence to it. Change it according to the age and needs of the children.

- Require children never to give out personal information online, including last name, first name, home address, phone numbers, school number, address Email, names of friends or relatives, date of birth, photos. Remind me how it could turn out.

- Teach your kids about responsible, decent online behavior. Guys should never use the Web for hooliganism, spreading gossip or threatening other people.

Parent meeting

« Information Security»

Tasks of the parent meeting:

1. discuss with parents the problem of children's dependence on the Internet;

2.introduce parents to the threats that children may face on the Internet;

3. jointly find ways to solve this problem.

The course of the parent meeting

Good afternoon dear parents!

Today, more and more computers are connected to work on the Internet. At the same time, high-speed connections are becoming more common, both at work and at home. More and more children are getting the opportunity to work on the Internet. But at the same time, the problem of ensuring the safety of our children on the Internet is becoming more and more acute. Since the Internet initially developed outside of any control, now it represents a huge amount of information, and not always safe. In connection with this and the fact that the age at which a person begins to work with the Internet is getting younger, the problem of ensuring the safety of children arises. And who can help them with this, if not their parents and adults?

Can your child become Internet addicted? Don't forget that the Internet is a wonderful means of communication, especially for shy and difficult children. After all, neither age, nor appearance, nor physical data here have the slightest significance. However, this path leads to the formation of Internet addiction. It is very difficult to recognize this problem until it becomes very serious. And besides, the fact of the presence of such a disease as Internet addiction is not always recognized. What to do?

It is very good that the guys spend their free time in sports sections.

But still students spend most of their free time on the Internet.

Let's imagine a situation: A child came from school, quickly performed homework, sat down at the computer to play. Everything seems to be fine, well. Half an hour passes, an hour, two, the child has a hasty dinner and again wants to return to the computer. What will you do in this situation? Can your child become Internet addicted?

So what should a competent and caring parent do: allow or prohibit communication with a "metal friend"?

Let's take a look at this problem. After all, they are our children...

The current Russian legislation does not impose any restrictions on access to information for children.In accordance with the Constitution of the Russian Federation (Article 29), everyone has the right to freely seek, receive, transmit, produce and distribute information in any legal way. This provision of the Constitution of the Russian Federation, in accordance with Art. 17 of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, provides every child with the opportunity to access information and materials that are aimed at promoting his social, spiritual and moral well-being, as well as the healthy physical and mental development of the child.

Of course, computers are now used in various branches of science, technology and even art, so the ability to handle it has become necessary for the child to master any serious profession in the future. At the same time, sitting for hours at the monitor, the child ruins his health, misses the chance to chat with friends, go in for sports, just run around in the yard in the fresh air.

The Institute of Sociology of the Russian Academy of Sciences conducted a study and identified nine million children on the Internet, and only children under 14 were taken into account. Of these, three-quarters use Internet resources without parental control.

Among the entire children's audience there are users under the age of five, and about 90% of them browse sites only under the supervision of their elders, or together with their parents.

Approximately 20% of children have seen videos on the Internet containing scenes of violence, as well as other objectionable material. Only half of the children have not come across links or resources on the web that are not intended for children to view.

Experts have tried to classify the main types of threats that children are exposed to when faced with the Internet. Of all the identified, the main points stand out:

- Threat of malware infection. After all, a whole range of methods is used to spread malware and penetrate computers. Among these methods, one can note not only mail, CDs, floppy disks and other removable media or files downloaded from the Internet. For example, software for instant messaging today are in a simple way spread of viruses, as they are very often used for direct file transfer. Children who are inexperienced in matters of social engineering can easily fall for the persuasion of an attacker. This method is often used by hackers to distribute Trojan viruses.

- Access to inappropriate content. After all, today things are in such a way that any child accessing the Internet can view any materials. And this is violence, drug pornography, pages pushing young people to suicide, anorexia (refusal to eat), murders, pages with nationalist or openly fascist ideology, and much, much more. After all, all this is available on the Internet without restrictions. It often happens that viewing these pages does not even depend on the child, because many sites display pop-up windows containing any information, most often of a pornographic nature;

- Contacts with strangersvia chat or email. Increasingly, attackers are using these channels to trick children into giving up personal information. In other cases, it may be pedophiles who are looking for new victims. Posing as a peer of the victim, they can ferret out personal information and seek a personal meeting;

- Uncontrolled purchases.Despite the fact that online shopping is still exotic for most of us, the time is not far off when this threat can become very relevant.

At what age can you start discussing safety issues?

Start when your child is still young enough. Indeed, today even preschoolers are already successfully using the Internet, which means that they need to be taught as early as possible to separate the truth from lies;

Do not forget to ask your child about what he saw on the Internet. For example, start by asking what a site is for.

Make sure your child can independently check the information they read on the Internet against other sources (other websites, newspapers or magazines). Teach your child to consult with you. Don't dismiss their childhood problems.

Encourage your children to use various sources, such as libraries, or give them an encyclopedia on disk, such as the Encyclopedia of Cyril and Methodius or Microsoft Encarta. This will help teach your child how to use third-party sources of information;

Teach your child how to search the Internet. Show how to use different search engines to perform searches;

Explain to your children what racism, fascism, ethnic and religious hatred are. Although some of these sites can be blocked using special software filters, you should not hope that you will be able to filter out all such sites.

If your children want to use the Internet, you should work with them to develop an Internet use agreement. Please note that in it you must clearly describe the rights and obligations of each member of your family.Be sure to clearly answer the following questions:

What sites your children can visit and what they can do there;

How much time can children spend on the Internet;

What to do if something bothers your children when visiting the Internet;

How to protect personal data;

How to monitor security;

How to behave politely;

How to use chat rooms, newsgroups and instant messaging services.

Do not forget that a formally drawn up agreement will not be fulfilled! Update this agreement regularly, as needed. Don't forget that you have to make sure your children follow the agreement. Establish rules for using your home computer and try to find a reasonable balance between being on the Internet and your child's physical activity. In addition, make sure that the computer is not in the children's room, but in the adults' room. Finally, take a look at yourself to see if you spend too much time on the Internet.

What safety rules must be followed:

Never fill in the columns related to personal data, because everyone can view them;

Never talk on the Internet with strangers;

Check your children's contact list regularly to make sure they know everyone they interact with;

Carefully check requests for inclusion in the list of new friends. Remember that on the Internet, a person may not be who he claims to be;

Be sure to explain to your child that Internet communication is not real life, but a kind of game. At the same time, try to direct his efforts to the knowledge of the world;

Add children's sites to the Favorites section. Create a folder there for sites that your children visit;

Use special children's search engines such as MSN Kids Search (http://search.msn.com/kids/default.aspx?FORM=YCHM);

Use inappropriate content blocking tools as an addition to the standardParental control;

Teach your child never to give out information about himself and his family on the Internet;

Encourage your child to report any Internet-related threats or concerns to you.

Your children are growing, and, consequently, their interests are changing.

Age 7 to 8 years

According to psychologists, it is absolutely natural for children of this age to want to find out what they can afford to do without the permission of their parents. As a result, while on the Internet, the child will try to visit certain sites, and possibly chats, permission to visit which he would not have received from his parents.

Therefore, at this age, those reports that Parental Control will provide you with or what you can see in temporary Internet files (folders c:\Users\User\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files in operating system Windows Vista).

As a result, your child will not feel like you are looking over their shoulder at the screen, however, you will still know which websites your child is visiting.

It should be understood that children at this age have a strong sense of family, they are trusting and do not doubt authorities. Children of this age love to play online games and surf the Internet. It is possible that they use e-mail and may access sites and chats that are not recommended by their parents.

Regarding the use of e-mail, I would like to note that at this age it is recommended not to be allowed to have your own e-mail box, but to use the family one so that parents can control correspondence.

Do not think that the Internet is a safe place where your children can feel protected. I hope you understand that the use of funds only educational work Without the organization of effective control, this is a practically useless exercise. Just like the use of repressive means of control without the organization of educational work. Only in the unity of these means can you help your children feel safe and protect them from the influence of intruders.

Internet Safety Tips for Kids and Teens - Always be careful when using the Internet. If an image or text that appears on the screen annoys you, let your parents or teachers know. - Remember that you will not get in trouble if you tell adults about potentially dangerous information that you have encountered on the Internet. - If you hear or see your friends entering "unsafe areas", remind them of the possible dangers and advise them on the right thing to do. - Keep all personal information to yourself (including photos, name, family members' names, phone number). - Remember that not everything you read on the Internet is true. MBU "Centralized Library System" Central Children's Library Tips for children in the city of Rezh 2012 Dear friend! The Internet is a lot like real life. Finding something new, chatting with friends, sharing videos and photos, and maybe making new acquaintances is great and interesting. BUT, as in real life, on the Internet must be observed simple rules security. How to protect yourself from negative use personal information in social networks? 1. Private means only to you Take care of your personal information. Do not give out personal information such as name, school number, age, home address or phone number. Passwords are very personal information - keep them private. Choose a password that no one can guess. Use aliases whenever possible. Think before you post or share content online. On the Internet, the principle "everything you posted can be used against you" applies. For example, a video of a fight can be evidence in a court of law, a show of wealth will set you up for robbers, and detailed information about yourself will tell them where and how to rob you. 2. Respect yourself Many people forget that insults on the Internet hurt just as much as in real life. Do not tolerate aggression towards you. Block or don't respond to those who put you down. Don't insult other users. For rude behavior, you can be blocked or excluded from the community. If something on the Internet seems dangerous to you, report it to an adult you trust. 3. Be vigilant The Internet is like Big city with different areas. Do not lose it common sense in the Internet. Be careful with new people you meet online, even if they seem friendly. Be careful when choosing friends, do not accept all applications in a row for quantity. The joy of a large number of "friends" is quickly overshadowed by trouble. A friend on a social network can only be someone who is well known - preferably in real life. If you decide to meet someone you've only interacted with online, make an appointment in a public place. Do not open access to your personal pages to strangers. REMEMBER: * Do not disclose personal data. * Do not tolerate aggression against you and do not insult other users yourself. * Be careful with new acquaintances. * The less information you give about yourself, the safer.

At present, in a period of rapid development information technologies The Internet has become an integral part of our lives. That is why today attention should be paid to Internet security both in an educational organization and at home (in the area of responsibility of parents). Our main task is to teach children to evaluate content, to understand which sites and materials global network will become indispensable assistants for them, and which carry a threat, pose a real danger.

We offer you a report on the "Information Security Week", as well as developed materials for parents and children of various age categories.

According to Russian legislation information security of children is a state of protection of children, in which there is no risk associated with causing information, including information distributed on the Internet, harm to their health, physical, mental, spiritual and moral development ( the federal law dated December 29, 2010 No. 436-FZ "On the protection of children from information harmful to their health and development").

Such protection for the child should be ensured, first of all, by the family and educational organization(hereinafter referred to as the School).

In order to increase the awareness of students and their parents about modern information threats, computer science lessons, class hours, a training course, contests and competitions were held, and booklets were distributed.

When conducting thematic class hours, teachers drew the attention of students to the importance of ensuring information security on the Internet. The teachers introduced the children to the rules for selecting information on the Internet, told them how to behave competently and safely in social networks. When conducting class hours, presentations, videos were used, and communication was organized.

As part of extracurricular activities, students in grades 5-11 were offered to take the training course "Internet Security" on the stepic.org website, where the guys saw what dangers they might encounter when working on the Internet and were tested to test information security knowledge. This independent activity turned out to be very effective in the formation of information literacy.

In order to form a clear idea of the rules of behavior on the Internet with students in grades 1-4 teaching staff visual arts a competition of drawings was held, with teachers of the Russian language and literature studying in grades 5-11, a competition of stories. Booklets and memos "Safe Internet" were distributed. At the lessons of computer science, students got acquainted with the culture of responsible, ethical and safe use of information technology.

Winners of the drawing competition "Computer is my friend, computer is my enemy"

Winner of the short story competition "The computer is my friend, the computer is my enemy"

My friend is a computer.

It is unlikely that in our time you can find a person who would never have dealt with a computer. Fifteen years ago, he was not in every family, but today his absence is more likely to cause surprise. Personally, I can hardly imagine ordinary life without a computer. It is an assistant for both an adult and a child. The keeper of a large amount of useful information, as well as a means of communication, obtaining new knowledge. Plus, computer games are one of the fun ways to spend time.

I dreamed about my computer for a very long time. And, finally, a year ago my dream came true - they bought me a laptop! "Hooray, dreams come true!" That was my first thought when I saw him. There was no limit to happiness, but then I did not know that the computer would become my friend. Of course, my acquaintance with him was traditional: I pumped up a dozen games and played, played, played. My parents told me that I constantly “hang out” in it, and later I began to more rationally distribute my time working with a laptop. After all, you can’t constantly live with computer games, a lot of time is spent on lessons, and on school, and on household chores, and meeting friends not “online” is much more pleasant. Well, if you don’t control yourself at all, you can spend all your time playing at the computer. My computer does not disappoint me and does not let me down. He has a remarkable ability to act quickly, and this saves time and effort. He helps with typing, underlines bad phrases, checks for spelling errors... He's just an irreplaceable friend!

Sometimes I think: “What will happen if all computers on earth disappear?” Most likely, it would become difficult for people, or rather unusual. If I need some information, how easy and simple it is to find it on the Internet! If my friend is sad, then you can always chat with him on Skype, cheer him up at any time! And the films! And the music! Everything is in the public domain, there is no need to buy discs in the store. From all this we can conclude that I have more free time and this is not unimportant. Yes, and knowledge of elementary office programs will definitely come in handy in life.

I believe that every thing has its pros and cons, but my computer consists of nothing but pros!
