I went from intermediaries Orange Travel and Natalie Tour, shame on these tour operators that such hotels offer, it’s not even a hotel, but a hostel dorm in Russian. And they took a ton of money for that amount, I could live in a luxury hotel where everything is inclusive.

Let me start by saying that this is a hostel! Due to the fact that it is sold by Natalie Tours, there are many Russian tourists, and everyone is in shock, our people are not used to such conditions. It’s better to overpay a little and take a 3* fortune. Even knowing where I was going and preparing myself mentally, I was in a slight shock. The hotel is honestly terrible, and this is not an exaggeration. The most terrible thing about it is the shower, or rather the 50*50cm tray and curtain; it is impossible to wash in it without flooding everything around and sticking to this curtain.

The staff doesn’t speak Russian, there are several boys at the reception (they also work in the bar located on the ground floor) who are generally quite nice.

The walls are cardboard, but even more decent hotels in Spain are guilty of this.

Breakfast: a drink of your choice and a bun (it’s better not to take breakfast at all, there’s no point in overpaying for it), picnics (if you leave early for excursions) are not provided.

Bottom line: the hotel is the worst thing that happened on my vacation, but... I didn’t go to stay in a hotel, but for impressions, then I’m happy with Spain and the city of Blanes. I will go again and to this resort town, but definitely not to this hotel.

I went with my girlfriend in July 2012. We chose an inexpensive hotel just to spend the night. We traveled independently. Of course we expected the worst, judging by the reviews on other sites. This is a hostel, not a hotel as it says on the website. Very simple, but clean. Cleaning is done every other day. The main thing is to be lucky with the view from the window, because... many rooms face a brick wall. We got a room with a balcony and a view of the street. True, right next to our room there was a snack bar that was open until 6 am. And it seemed to us that he was popular with local residents. In general, we were satisfied, we didn’t even want to leave. Made friends with the staff. Very nice and responsive))))

I won’t be original, Miranda is really a hostel.

Let me comment on the previous review.

“There is no TV or hairdryer in the room, no air conditioning” - for those who are not in the know - for level 2* there shouldn’t be any, otherwise it’s 3*.

Regarding “zero service”... If by service we mean daily change of linen, towels and coffee in bed - probably yes, zero.

I myself give an A for the service, because... There are no complaints about the staff.

The rooms are clean, cleaning every other day. On the second day after arrival, a second set of towels appeared in the room, and when they were changed, both sets were changed at once. Linen change - once a week. There is soap and shower gel, when we run out, they bring more.

Despite my complete ignorance of both Spanish and English, the reception staff were always ready to resolve some minor issues, of which there were few.

I can’t say anything about the food; I took the option without breakfast. In the morning you can get croissants and some drinks at the bar, but there are a lot of cafes and shops around, so there was no desire to have breakfast at the hostel bar.

Due to the poor lighting in the lobby and corridors, and I arrived at night, the hostel looks a bit gloomy. The room itself is 6 sq.m. approximately (single) + a small corridor, did not add optimism, besides, the view from the window is of the window of the next room with very restless compatriots.

Sound insulation is already weak, but due to open windows You can hear everyone whose windows face this side.

As soon as my neighbors from the opposite window left, it became much calmer and quieter. Those. Whether it will be quiet or noisy depends on how lucky you are with your neighbors.

You quickly get used to the spartan furnishings of the room and do not pay attention, but I was very pleased with the presence of a small, albeit small, bathtub, not a shower, the bathroom itself is not cramped, the plumbing is in working order, there were no problems with hot water, a comfortable bed, there was a wool blanket (I didn’t use , although it was noticeably cool for a couple of nights), the absence electronic key- you can calmly put your camera batteries on charge and leave :) To the beach - 5 minutes, to the bus station - 5 minutes, to the center of Blanes at most 10 minutes on foot.

On the downside, I was unlucky with the view from the room, so I constantly had to curtain the window, the small and low table was uncomfortable for me.

Basically, I only came to the room to sleep and change clothes.

Before going on vacation, decide on the purpose of your vacation and formulate your requests accordingly. I was going to relax, enjoy Spain, the sea and the sun, and most importantly, I wanted to feel the spirit of the country! Who needs a boring hotel holiday with intrusive service, a belly-fest in a hotel restaurant - Miranda is not for you. Reviews exclaiming "I'm shocked!" make you smile - weren’t you interested in finding out where you were going? What are you paying money for? Browse the Internet, evaluate the price-request-quality ratio of the tour and only then decide whether to buy or not. There’s no point blaming the mirror if... (c) I found plenty of reviews (even if not in Russian) about Miranda, so I knew perfectly well what awaited me. And, to be honest, I expected much worse. But in the end - everything is fine. Clean, neat, very nice girl Juliana, who cleans the rooms, is always ready to help and can change towels at least twice a day without any problems. With a shower, it depends on your luck; not all rooms have bathtubs, only small single showers. As for breakfast - continental breakfasts (and in Spain the only ones - coffee + bun - again, you could read about this on the Internet) do not differ at all in variety - that’s why I didn’t have breakfast at the hostel. It’s much more pleasant to have breakfast every morning in a different cafe, where you can taste incredibly delicious pastries and aromatic coffee! The staff are very nice young people! Few people speak English in Spain, so feel free to speak English or even Russian - and they will understand you. The main thing is to do it kindly, and not in the typical Russian boorish manner.

The breakfast assortment is monotonous; during peak breakfast hours the range of products was poorly replenished. The children's menu is poorly presented. There was no information that the window in the room faces the well of the house, measuring 2x2 m. Sunlight does not enter the room at all. Extremely poor sound insulation, silence after 12 am was not ensured (violation of silence after 12 am was considered a violation of accommodation according to the hostel rules). Living with children in such conditions is not suitable. The beds are rickety. Wardrobe, the number of hangers does not correspond to the number of residents. When staying in a hostel for 7 days, linen was changed 1 time, towels 1 time/2 days. Wi-fi is good, but for us it was paid. The beach is 100 m away, the infrastructure is developed, getting to Barca, Figueres and other nearby cities is easy and without problems, the bus station is within walking distance, the nearest resorts can be reached by land and water transport. You can stay, but for a period of no more than 5 days.

Very strong audibility in the rooms, this is the first time I have encountered this. The walls are not cardboard, but paper. Some neighbors, having realized, try to speak in a whisper, however, the slightest sound can be heard well (who goes to the shower when, etc.). If you are immune to sounds, feel free to check in, but I missed the feeling that I was really alone in the room.

Blanes is a beautiful town, everything is nearby, cozy and beautiful. Easily accessible from Barcelona, both by train and bus. There is even a direct bus to the airport, just be sure to check the schedule with the bus station employee to know for sure. The hotel itself is located next to a beach with clear water. They greeted me kindly, gave me a map, advised me to visit the San Francisco Bay beach, I walked there for about 40 minutes, a pleasant walk and a cozy place! Very comfortable bed, European breakfast from 8 to 10.30 (juices, fruits, coffee, bread, jamon, cheese, sausage, cereal, sometimes delicious yogurt) buffet. 2 towels are changed every other day.
