"BIT.Finance" today is a solution for automating financial management, which was used by more than 1.7 thousand companies in Russia, Kazakhstan and Ukraine. About how BIT.Finance arose and about its features, the project manager of the First BIT company, Viktor Aglichev, tells.

In 2004, when we just started working, during the course of projects we implemented the Budgeting subsystems in the 1C: SCP product. As a rule, such projects lasted 4-6 months, the costs for them amounted to several million, and at the same time, the capabilities of the product did not fully meet the needs of the client. For example, clients often needed to enter data into the system in MS Excel, but there was not enough analytical budgeting reserves to switch from plan-fact analysis to the primary document in accounting.

This prompted me and my colleague Mikhail Zyubin, head of the development group, to create our own product on the 1C:Enterprise 8 platform in the crisis year of 2008, which would best meet the needs of large and medium-sized businesses in terms of maintaining financial accounting. The crisis of 2008 was a liquidity crisis, and many companies that had not previously experienced problems with financing began to look for tools to plan and control the company's finances. In April 2009, we already made the first sale, in 2009 there were 70 sales in total.

Initially, our main competitor was Intalev, but I think they didn't prioritize user experience on the product side, and their chart-of-accounts-based methodology didn't always work for customers. At the same time, they had strong brand and good experience in consulting. Today there are 14 competing products on the market, but only we have such a rich experience in implementing products in various industries. And we are always improving our product based on the experience of our employees and customers.

I can single out 5 main principles that guide us when creating and improving BIT.Finance:

  • ease of use for users and administrators;
  • development from customer needs;
  • maximum performance;
  • universality of mechanisms;
  • seamless integration with 1C accounting systems.

All updates are released regularly, once every two months. If we talk about the latest update, then I would note the following:

  • the dashboard/KPI mechanism has been switched to use HTML5 technology, which ensures the display of indicators in the thick, thin and WEB client;
  • developed and released a mobile application;
  • integration with the solution of the company "1C: Trade Management 11" was completed.

At the moment, 15 professionals are working on the product. They include developers, analysts, testers, a customer support team, and a marketer. Thanks to this team, 1.6 thousand sales have already been made today.

Among large companies who have chosen our product are subsidiaries of such companies as Gazprom, Transneft, Lukoil, Rosneft, Rosnano, Renova, MegaFon, Sberbank and others. As well as the companies OKEY, TechnoNikol, Yota, Glavstroy, Oboronstroy, LenspetsSMU, YIT, Aeroexpress, PonyExpress, Russian Sea and many others.

The software product called "BIT Finance" was created with the aim of effectively building an integral information space of all financial services, line divisions, holding structures and individual enterprises, both medium and big business. Over the years of its development, this software solution has collected a significant number of positive feedback from small organizations to powerful holdings.

Multi-scenario budget planning according to a model that has free and standard analytical sections, in particular, a composite type. The program supports the formation of all core and support budgets on a top-down or bottom-up basis;

The BIT Finance 1C program has easily customizable algorithms for outputting and obtaining actual data, there is a link to primary documents in on-line and off-line modes, and, in addition, delayed translation is supported;

Balance sheet accounting according to the budget model on the plan of budget accounts;

Multivariate plan-fact analysis, in particular, multi-scenario analysis. At the same time, it is possible to obtain transcripts of certain indicators before drill-down, - primary documents;

A universal constructor of arbitrary reports on a certain necessary source of information;

What will be needed during the project

Also, you probably already have full operational accounting(reflection of the financial and economic activities of the enterprise has been established), and this accounting is automated using 1C products -, or. Implementation of the BiT.Finance system, this is primarily a methodological and organizational project, and only in the second place is the setting of 1C configuration.
We are not talking about development at all, as a rule, even in large projects, the required improvements to the BIT are local, and require minimal programmer intervention. Moreover, these "inconvenient places for the user" are known and repeated with different variations in different projects.
During the project (during the survey), we will ask you the following information:

  • Reporting forms (which are currently in use).

  3. Setting up a BIT for the described processes and analytics sections. Setting up routes for coordinating budgets and requests.
  4. . We train separately the treasury, PEO, fin. service, budget holders (heads of the Central Federal District), by functions and roles, we prepare memos, test operation on a test base.
  5. Collection of the nearest budget. Accompanying the first budget collection process). These software products are developed on the basis of typical configurations of 1C company on the platform "1C: Enterprise 8" - "1C: Accounting 8 PROF / CORP", "1C: Integrated automation 8", "1C: Management manufacturing plant 8", "1C: Enterprise Management (ERP)", "1C: Trade Management 8, rev.11".

The availability of these subsystems in 1C:Enterprise launch mode depends on the purchased version of the product. These modules are protected from “piracy” by a special software product "BIT: License Server", which is distributed in the distribution kit of the BIT.FINANCE product (the user manual describes the initial setup of the Licensing system for the operation of these subsystems).

In this article, I am reviewing the version of the BIT.FINANCE.Prof product - This solution is designed for budgeting: income and expense budgeting (BDR) and cash flow (BDDS). What is the difference between BDR and BDDS can be seen in the videos below. The price of this version of the product is 150 000 rubles(it's whiter affordable price and only 5 times more expensive than vendor configuration for 5 users)

The product version is set when configuring in the parameter the current version of the product. For example, for the selected version of the BIT.FINANCE.Prof product, subsystems are available (see Figure 2): Settings (BIT), Budgeting (BIT), Treasury (BIT), Received Data (BIT)

When installing an expensive version of the BIT.FINANCE product, management accounting becomes available even more subsystems IFRS and Consolidation.

In my opinion, there are 2 options for implementing BIT.FINANCE 3.1:

  1. Install the BIT.FINANCE 3.1 configuration into an information database separate from 1C: Enterprise Accounting 8 and set up an exchange between both databases.
  2. Update the configuration of 1C: Enterprise Accounting to the BIT.FINANCE 3.1 edition and introduce regulated accounting and financial management in one information base.

At the time of writing this article, I did not find good free video tutorials for studying the subsystem of the BIT.FINANCE.Pro edition 3.1 product version. Basically, these are promotional product presentations with beautiful pictures and a lot of “water”. Therefore, I recommend downloading the user manual, which details the features and how to use the configuration.
