Difference 1s upp from erp. Transition from SCP to ERP: when and why it is advisable to do it. International Financial Accounting

It covers almost all aspects of accounting and management, creating a single information space of the company. But the product is no longer optimal due to the peculiarities of conducting modern business and therefore needs a successor. They became the system (Enterprice Resourse Planning) - a new round of development of corporate solutions from 1C. This is a full-fledged replacement for 1C: SCP, which will disappear from the developer's virtual shelves on April 30, 2018.

Easier and better

The 1C:ERP system was originally designed to work in the "thin client" mode, and therefore it scales well and is more productive than its predecessor thanks to the new three-tier architecture. There is support for working in a browser without installing clients, which significantly saves money on maintaining remote servers.
An important place in the design is given to the ease of operation of the end user. The developers were guided by two key principles: "no unfinished or controversial functionality" and "no one needs too complex, inconvenient and rarely used elements."

Complete customer focus

The creators of the system have completely moved away from the method of making point fixes, focusing on the ultimate business goals of most customers. As a result, a completely new development algorithm was created, where the ultimate goal is realized, and individual elements are not corrected. In fact, the well-known principle of Henry Ford was taken as the basis, which proved that in order to move faster, you need not a faster horse, but a technical revolution. Here everything is the same, but less pretentious.

The reporting system is thought out to the smallest detail and tailored for a specific use case - take it and make it up. In this system, there are simply no objectively useless functions and details that greatly burdened the start-up interface 1C: UPP, where you had to get rid of unnecessary windows, plugins and add-ons. Everything is simple and minimalistic. Need to install an extension or add a few details to general scheme? A couple of minutes of free time solve the problem.

functional development

In order for you to get the right impression about the system, you need to know that it outperforms UPP by at least ten key indicators, although it was created from scratch, and was not a planned upgrade of the previous product.

Among the main advantages it is worth highlighting:

  • management of purchases and sales - flexible pricing, as well as work with discounts, payment schedules and mutual settlements. The interface is as clear as possible for the seller and is free from "accounting" habits;
  • inventory management - the functionality is completely redesigned and brought to the ideal;
  • production planning - implemented management taking into account "bottlenecks", which allows you to effectively solve the tasks, starting from your own shortcomings;
  • cost calculation - without pitfalls and automatically closes at the end of the month;
  • accounting production costs- became easier, although slightly lost in flexibility. But he won in the speed and accuracy of data processing;
  • budgeting is an ideal tool that every company can customize to suit its own needs.
Now, as for the new features that were simply not in SCP:
  • warehouse management - targeted content of goods based on WMS support;
  • warehouse work order system - smart, simple and obedient;
  • planning the delivery of goods "supplier - client" with transport management;
  • report panels - beyond praise;
  • automatic distribution by email, including notifications, payment status confirmations and reports.
Needless to say, ERP in its basic version is head and shoulders ahead of UPP, despite its many years of refinement since its release.

Ambitious prospects

The functionality is developing at the speed of a locomotive, which has taken acceleration and stubbornly follows the goal. Developers offer significant updates and additions quarterly, and minor errors, shortcomings and bugs are eliminated every week, which is ahead of even the legendary pace of improvement of Microsoft products.

Does it make sense to switch to ERP, or is it worth waiting for a more advanced product? Team 1C does not plan to update the system for several years for one simple reason: there is nothing to improve, since information technology has reached its logical ceiling. It is much more profitable to support a new product by regularly fixing bugs and introducing new useful features.

Large companies additionally receive a significant bonus in the form of corporate support and software support.

The answer is clear - YES. And the company will be happy to help you with this. The main feature of the product, which will delight any system administrator who has ever suffered over the installation, configuration and calibration of the system, is the cloud client and client-server architecture.

The owner has access to account from anywhere. To enter, you can use a PC, laptop, smartphone or tablet on any OS (Windows, iOS, Android). All data is stored on a secure central server, which is serviced 24/7 and guarantees safety personal information.

Today, everything is decided by the availability of data, and therefore it is necessary the lion's share large and medium enterprises like air.

The 1C company informed users and partners that from April 30, 2018, supplies of 1C: UPP and 1C: UPP OR are removed from the price list of 1C and its regular partners.

The 1C company takes into account that a number of users may need to further purchase these software products, for example, it became necessary to increase the number of enterprises of the same group that were previously automated in a typical way on 1C: UPP or 1C: UPP OR. For such cases, the sale of 1C: UPP and 1C: UPP OR solutions, starting from 05/01/2018, will be carried out only through partners with the status "1C: Competence Center for ERP Solutions" (for a list of partners, see www.1c.ru/ ckerp) on applications in the prescribed form with the justification for the need to purchase 1C:UPP or 1C:UPP OR. When selling in such cases, the partner must notify the user that the solutions 1C: UPP and 1C: UPP OR do not fully comply modern requirements: critical bugs are fixed, updates are released, consultations are provided, but the product does not develop, does not use the new features of the 1C:Enterprise 8.3 platform, and does not support many new 1C services.

TRANSITION FROM 1C:UPP TO 1C:ERP

You can switch from 1C:UPP to 1C:ERP solutions on an upgrade basis. The user can upgrade from 1C: UPP as on standard solution 1C:ERP, and 1C:ERP OP, taking into account the industry specifics of the user's activities. The list of 1C: ERP OP solutions is given in Appendix No. 2.

The cost of the upgrade is calculated according to the standard formula: the total cost of the purchased software products (the main supply plus the 1C:Enterprise 8 licenses) minus the cost of the product handed over for the upgrade plus 150 rubles, but not less than half the cost of the purchased set of products. Upgrades to products that include the "1C: ERP Enterprise Management 2" configuration are performed only through partners participating in the "1C: Competence Center for ERP Solutions" project, see the list of partners at www.1c.ru/ckerp. Within 45 calendar days after shipment software product on the terms of the upgrade, the partner must transfer to the 1C company or the distributor who shipped the license agreement for the product being handed over and the security key of the 1C:Enterprise 8 platform, if it was part of the product being handed over. Upon receipt of the 1C:ERP kit or the 1C:ERP OR kit, the user will receive security keys for the 1C:Enterprise 8 platform, which will also allow them to continue working with 1C:UPP or 1C:UPP OR. Users of upgraded software-protected products must delete the license file of the upgraded product from their computer after performing an upgrade. The materials remaining in the organization from the 1C: UPP or 1C: UPP OR kit - keys for protecting against 1C: UPP OR configurations, distributions and documentation - should only be used to support old tasks until the transition to 1C: ERP or 1C: ERP OR, without transfer other organizations and individuals, which is indicated in the application for an upgrade signed by the user.

Support for old tasks is understood as the ability to keep records using 1C: UPP or 1C: UPP OR, handed over for an upgrade, and receive support only until the end of the current year in which the upgrade took place, with the possibility of annual accounts. For the operation of 1C: UPP (1C: UPP OR) that has been upgraded, you can use licenses "1C: Enterprise 8" - purchased earlier, purchased together with 1C: ERP (1C: ERP OR) - or purchase required amount additional licenses. At the end of the current year, the user has the right to access the databases of these products (one or more) only in order to view the old archived data, new operations are not allowed to be entered.

If a user, when switching from 1C:UPP to 1C:ERP solutions, plans to use the 1C:UPP or 1C:UPP OR software product for a long time with the ability to keep records in them and enter new operations in programs, then it is recommended to purchase 1C:ERP or 1C:ERP OR without an upgrade or purchase 1C:ERP as part of the 1C:Corporation package (http://v8.1c.ru/corporation) with an upgrade from 1C:UPP (in this case, an extended support period is set, as well as an additional period of use for handed over to upgrade products and delivery of components for the upgrade - by the end of the current year at the time of the upgrade, plus one year with the possibility of submitting annual reports).

Users who have made an upgrade from 1C: UPP edition 1.3 can, using the transition assistant included in the 1C: ERP delivery, transfer regulatory and reference information and initial balances to the new infobase. Salary data can be carried forward by movements over the last three years. For automatically created directory elements, you must specify the missing details. Instructions for data transfer are included in the delivery of the 1C: ERP solution. In version 1C:ERP 2.4.4 (planned release date - April 2018), further development of data exchange mechanisms will be implemented, including the transfer of some documents from 1C:UPP to 1C:ERP ("smooth transition" mode from 1C:UPP to 1C: ERP).

Users of the 1C:ERP product on its.1c.ru website have access to detailed documentation on this decision electronic.

SUPPORT 1C:UPP AND 1C:UPP OR

Support for 1C: UPP and 1C: UPP OR is currently not terminated. The decision to end their support is planned to be communicated to users and partners in advance - at least 3 years before the entry into force of such a decision. Identified critical errors in the programs are corrected, configuration updates are released, including in terms of the subsystems "Payroll" and "Personnel Management", and consultations are provided to users if they comply with the maintenance conditions. At the same time, the cost of 1C:UPP support is gradually increasing, and support for 1C:UPP OR solutions is carried out only after the activation of the 1C:ITS Industry service for the solutions used (for more information about the 1C:ITS Industry service, see https://portal .1c.ru/applications/23).

By an information letter for users and partners No. 22944 dated April 27, 2017, 1C announced a change in the conditions for supporting the 1C: SCP solution. To provide support for users of 1C: UPP, in addition to 1C: ITS, new service– "Prolongation of SCP support". From 01/01/2018, the activation of this service has become prerequisite to support users of the 1C:UPP configuration, and to support users of the 1C:UPP OR configurations, the activation of the 1C:ITS Industry service became mandatory.

From 01/01/2018, partners have the right to provide consulting and other services to users of 1C: UPP and 1C: UPP OR, as well as update the configuration only if there are active services "Prolongation of support for UPP" (for 1C: UPP) or "1C: ITS Industry" (for 1C: UPP OR) - or if the rules of the "Transition Period" apply to users.

More details about 1C:UPP support - in information letters No. 22944 dated 04/27/2017 and No. 23229 dated 07/07/2017), about 1C:UPP OR support -

The release of the 1C:ERP solution has become a new step in the development of 1C products. We can safely say that they have reached a new level. However, all the advantages of 1C: ERP have a downside - it was developed from scratch, without looking back at how similar functions were made in SCP. Because of this, it will not always be easy for companies already using 1C:UPP to switch to 1C:ERP. In this article, I will try to "without cuts" to bring out all the arguments "For" and "Against" regarding the transition from SCP to ERP.

Let's start with the main features of 1C: ERP, namely, with technical details, we will gradually move on to aspects understandable to customers from the business side, and consider reverse side medals for all innovations.

(The arguments in this article remain relevant when choosing between ERP and an industry solution based on SCP. More on this in the final part.

When deciding whether to make the transition from the "Trade Management 10.3" configuration to the "Trade Management 11" configuration, almost all of the above arguments are also relevant, because. these solutions correspond to the SCP and ERP systems, respectively. However, given that "Trade Management 11" was released much earlier than ERP, and has already undergone significant refinement based on the wishes of the customer - of these two options, I would even more strongly recommend choosing "Trade Management 11").

Technological advancement

The 1C:ERP system was originally developed to work in thin client mode. Thus, it scales much better and achieves much more high performance performance than SCP. Also, the architecture of a three-tier client-server with thin client allows you to significantly reduce the cost of scaling, allows you to work in a browser without installing a separate client, saves the cost of a terminal server when working remotely.

Emphasis on ease of use of the program

In the development of 1C: ERP, an important place is occupied by ensuring maximum convenience and ease of use for users. On the one hand, this is an absolute plus. On the other hand, the desire to simplify everything as much as possible has led to the fact that users are sometimes surprised to learn about the absence in ERP of some elementary things that they are used to in SCP. Why did they disappear? There are two popular reasons: the developers of the 1C company might find them too complicated and inconvenient to use; or they might consider them "not methodically developed enough." What is meant - see the next paragraph.

Orientation to a certain method of work

When developing ERP, the developers of the 1C company decided to follow the following path: instead of fulfilling each user requirement "on the forehead", they try to understand for what ultimate business goal this requirement arises. As a result, those requirements are realized, the essence of which is well understood. Also, when implementing, developers tend not to implement exactly what customers say, but to understand ultimate goal and implement it exactly. This is a fairly logical approach, because. users do not always realize that their goal can be more easily achieved by other means. As Henry Ford said: "If I asked people what they needed, they would ask me to give them a faster horse." As a result, the new 1C product looks very solid, and when you understand its logic of work, there is no need to remember individual nuances, because. everything more or less logically follows from each other and seems intuitive.

The fly in the ointment is as follows - 1C developers do not at all strive to implement business requirements directly, as stated by the users themselves. The most illustrative problem with ERP, in my experience, is reporting deficiencies. Instead of creating many highly customizable reports (which the 1C platform allows you to do relatively easily, and what you have to do on each implementation), 1C developers try to predict which reports are most useful. And they only implement these most useful reports, because the presence of multiple reports makes it difficult to find the right ones, and the system seems more complex, but they want to make it simple and understandable.

As a result, the system is very pleasant to demonstrate when selling: the reports are well thought out and tailored to a specific use case, attention is not diverted to secondary reports. But at the beginning of using the system, it is often annoying that there are no elementary reports that often existed even in the SCP. These reports may not be particularly necessary. Their usefulness is subjective. But when management is already accustomed to analyzing certain data in a certain way, they can be annoyed by the lack of the most simple reports. In this case, the developers of 1C, as it were, declare that they are not interested in the subjective opinion of users, but in objective usefulness. And based on this thesis, they sometimes stubbornly do not implement those functions that are not very useful in their subjective opinion. Drawing a parallel with the mentioned Henry Ford, I note that until the end of his life he stubbornly refused to paint cars other than black.

functional development programs

In order for the first acquaintance with ERP to get the right impression about the product, it is necessary to mention that it is significantly superior to SCP in the following functions:

* Management of sales and purchases - more flexible management of pricing and discounts, management of mutual settlements and payment schedules, interfaces more understandable for sellers (before, the logic of working with orders was more "accounting").

* Inventory management - redesigned and significantly improved the functionality of maintaining stocks and securing orders.

* Production planning - Implemented a bottleneck planning technique that makes it much easier and, in many cases, more accurate to plan and reschedule production.

* Cost calculation - works faster, does not stumble on various nuances, because of which the closing of the month in the SCP was such a painful procedure.

* Cost accounting in production - works easier, especially with the process of transfer and consumption material costs. Although in terms of flexibility, SCP sometimes loses so far (for reasons - see above, ERP developers have not yet been convinced that more flexibility is needed, to the detriment of simplicity).

* Flexible Budgeting System - unique among all ERP functions, the case when the developers, instead of offering a specific methodology, tried to make the most flexible tool that each company can customize for themselves.

There are new features that were absent in the SCP

* Warehouse management - address storage of goods is supported. The system has a fairly powerful WMS module

* More advanced order scheme of the warehouse

* Transport planning for the delivery of goods from the supplier and to customers

* Assortment management functionality for network companies

* Report panels (the so-called "Monitor targets") - allows you to implement control by the method of "Balanced Scorecard"

* And a few more points.

In general, in terms of the total number of functions and functional blocks, ERP is already significantly superior to SCP.

Prospects for the development and support of ERP

1C:ERP functionality is developing at a fast pace. 1C tries to release significant updates and additions to the functionality every quarter. Corrective releases that fix known bugs and shortcomings are released almost at the same frequency as Microsoft releases similar updates for Windows. For ERP, they are published every 2-3 weeks.

In the future, there are no grounds for the emergence of another product that will replace ERP - technologically, ERP fully complies with all the principles that development has come to information technologies on the this moment. Nothing revolutionary is expected on this front.

Some customers are afraid that 1C will release something new instead of ERP in order to make money on the update. In fact, 1C is easier and more profitable to receive a subscription fee for the release of updates and technical support for ERP. For large companies to this end, an expanded set of corporate support and support services has recently been introduced.

At the time of preparation of this article (August 2015) - 1C has not yet announced when the SCP will be withdrawn from support. A good tradition of 1C, which they promise to keep this time, is a very early announcement of future changes. Because SCP cannot be automatically updated on ERP, then 1C promises to warn about the removal of SCP from support 3 years before this happens. Those. at least until the end of 2018, the required updates are expected to be released for the SCP for the submission of regulated reporting.

At the same time, functionally, SCP has not been developed for a long time. If any new functions appear in the SCP, then basically only in order to promote other services offered by 1C to the market. So, in the SCP, there were integration functions with 1C: Document Management and the possibility of exchanging electronic SFs.

How to choose between SCP and ERP?

The choice between SCP and ERP has to be made in two cases:

1.When the current information system(and this is not SCP) it definitely needs to be changed, or it is SCP, which is very dissatisfied and needs to be re-implemented.

2. When the current is the SCP system or an industry solution based on it, and it more or less copes with its tasks.

In the first case, I would highly recommend implementing ERP. The main reason for this recommendation is the overwhelming functional advantage of ERP over SCP, which will only grow gradually. In my practice, I have not met companies for which the typical configuration of the SCP would suit more than ERP. It is necessary, however, to make a reservation.

Currently, there are many industry solutions for SCP, which are functional add-ons that better implement the requirements of a particular area. For ERP, some of these add-ons also exist, but here the choice is much smaller. In the event that there is a good standard solution based on SCP for your industry, it is more difficult to recommend what is preferable for implementation. On the one hand, in ERP, even without taking into account industry specifics, there will be more useful features and they will be more methodically verified. The implementation of a number of such functions in SCP may be practically impossible, because it was for their implementation that ERP was written entirely from scratch. On the other hand, ERP may lack very important and useful industry-specific features. In most cases, it is technically easy to implement them in ERP, especially if there is an industry-specific solution on the SCP as a sample, but nevertheless, transferring this functionality to ERP can be time-consuming and quite expensive.

Ultimately, if you have an industry solution, I would recommend using the help of two different experts who are familiar with the industry solution and with ERP, so that they, in a discussion of people who have a deep understanding of the relevant systems, can come to a conclusion which of the two systems is worth implementing. But in the event that ERP can be implemented without deep modifications, then it still has a very important advantage - the ability to easily expand the functionality of the system when new updates are released from 1C.

In the case when the business is satisfied with the current solution, I don’t see the point of switching to ERP. Here you can quote the saying "The best is the enemy of the good." Is ERP better than SCP? Undoubtedly. But as mentioned above, it is too different. Therefore, when switching from SCP to ERP, there will be many discontents like "we liked it the way it was before, do it the way it was." There is also a small risk that the company falls into the small group of companies for which SCP is really more suitable. The reasons may be the following:

1. The SCP was well implemented and perfectly tailored to the needs of the customer.

2. Very complex rules and cost allocation bases are used. In ERP, it is planned to implement flexibility at the SCP level, but the typical ERP functionality loses a little in flexibility (they tried to make it simpler).

3. Accounting and management accounting are fundamentally different. ERP has convenient mechanisms for maintaining such differences when reflecting facts in accounting and management accounting in different periods. But in terms of cost accounting, ERP doesn't allow for the flexibility that PPM allows in some cases.

It is worth noting that according to points 2 and 3, 1C developers have already reported that they plan to develop the ERP functionality in this direction. However, at the current moment (end of 2015), these arguments still play in favor of SCP.

Last remark

It should be noted that all the above arguments are typical for the vast majority of companies. However, for a particular business, the benefits of each solution (SCM and ERP) may not be obvious. Especially when the employees of the enterprise do not have in-depth knowledge of these products.

There are many more specialists with deep knowledge of SCP in the market than specialists with knowledge of ERP. UPP appeared on the market 10 years earlier, everyone has already studied it, besides, it is smaller in functionality and more focused on the type of thinking of “techies”. However, if you have any doubts about the choice, I recommend contacting consultants who are proficient in ERP. It is dangerous to contact specialists who know only SCP for the following reason - perhaps they simply do not want to strain and learn a new product, because it is very large in functionality, it takes a long time to study it in detail. ERP consultants, in most cases, have previously had experience in implementing different blocks of SCP and have a better understanding of the comparative capabilities of both products.

This article discusses the main distinguishing features of accounting for fixed assets in 1C: ERP compared to 1C: SCP, provides links to a more complete description for each section of accounting.

Two options for accounting equipment

In 1C: UPP, the purchased equipment is accounted for on accounts 08.04 “Acquisition of fixed assets” and 07 “Equipment for installation”, the analytics of which are the reference books “Nomenclature” and “Warehouse”. Thus, the purchased equipment is first entered in the "Nomenclature" directory, and then, when accepted for accounting, a new fixed asset is created in the "Fixed Assets" directory.

In 1C:ERP, there are two options for accounting for equipment:

  1. Accounting for equipment on account 08.04.1 "Components of fixed assets". In this case, the receipt of equipment is reflected in the same way as 1C: SCP. The analytics of account 08.04.1 are also reference books "Nomenclature" and "Warehouse". Before accounting for equipment from account 08.04.1 “Components of fixed assets” must be written off to account 08.04.2 “Preparation for commissioning.” Further, the acceptance of fixed assets for accounting is reflected.
  2. Accounting for equipment on account 08.04.2 "Preparation for commissioning". In this case, the received equipment is immediately reflected on account 08.04.2, the analytics of which are the directories "Objects of operation" (an analogue of the directory "Fixed assets" in 1C: SCP) and " Cost items". When using this option, the equipment is not entered into the "Nomenclature" directory, but is immediately reflected with analytics for that fixed asset, as or as part of which it will later be taken into account.

Availability of specialized documents for accounting of leased fixed assets and fixed assets leased

Unlike 1C: UPP, where all transactions on leased fixed assets were reflected in the “Operation (accounting and tax accounting)” document, 1C: ERP provides special documents for recording transactions on leased fixed assets.

Also, 1C: ERP provides special documents for recording operations on fixed assets leased out. It is possible to transfer fixed assets for rent own organization or a third party contractor. In the case of the transfer of fixed assets to the lease of their own organization, the transfer documents form movements simultaneously both for the organization - the lessor, and for the organization - the lessee. A mirror document is not required.

Availability of specialized documents for accounting for OS leasing

1C:ERP provides special documents to reflect fixed asset leasing operations. To account for leasing agreements, a separate reference book “Leasing agreements” is used. The leasing agreement indicates on whose balance sheet the leased property is listed and whether the purchase of the leased asset is expected at the end of the lease term.

The receipt of the object of leasing, both in the case of off-balance sheet accounting and in the case of accounting on the balance sheet, is reflected in the document “Receipt of leased objects”. At the same time, automatically, depending on the selected agreement, the leased asset is credited either to account 001 "Rented fixed assets" or to account 08.04 "Purchase of equipment" with further acceptance for accounting to account 01 "Fixed assets".

With both options for accounting for property (on the balance sheet / off the balance sheet), the document “Receipt of leasing services” is entered monthly at the end of the month. Under leasing agreements with the option of accounting for property “Out of balance”, this document reflects the receipt of leasing services. Leasing services are reflected in the item of expenditure selected in the document. Under leasing agreements with the property accounting option “On the balance sheet”, this document reflects leasing services and offsetting the security deposit. Monthly recognition of leasing payments in NU is performed by a routine operation generated automatically in the “Closing of the month” processing.

The redemption of property leased under a leasing scheme, which was recorded on an off-balance account, if it is provided for by the terms of the contract, takes place under a separate contract for the acquisition of future fixed assets, standard documents for working with non-current assets are used to process transactions.

Accounting for precious metals

In 1C:ERP, accounting for the content of precious metals in fixed assets is implemented. Data on the precious metals contained in the fixed asset are recorded in the card of the fixed asset on the "Precious Materials" tab. Precious materials are selected from the reference book "Precious materials and stones". For precious stones, the location of the gem is additionally indicated, the options for which are shown in the figure below.

The presence of precious materials in property, plant and equipment is reflected in printed forms documents for the acceptance of fixed assets for accounting (forms OS-1, OS-1a, OS-1b), inventory card (form OS-6), documents for writing off fixed assets (forms OS-4, OS-4a, OS-4b).

OS re-evaluation

Unlike 1C: UPP, where there was no specialized document for the revaluation of fixed assets and therefore it was necessary to manually adjust the registers, 1C: ERP provides for the document “Revaluation of fixed assets”. This document, of course, is not ideal - it does not have the ability to download from Excel and the ability to specify the revaluation coefficient, but the very fact of having this document- this is already a big plus, since it moves all the necessary registers for accounting for fixed assets. And loading fixed assets from an Excel file, usually provided by appraisal companies that revalue fixed assets, is not difficult to modify if desired.

The main differences between 1C:ERP and 1C:UPP?

The question is also relevant because now more and more manufacturing enterprises switches from foreign SAP to domestic analogues due to the high cost of servicing the import program and inconsistencies in working with Russian legislation. In this article, we will briefly consider what are the main differences between SCP and ERP, what are their strengths and what are the possibilities of their functionals.

What is the difference between 1C: UPP and 1C: ERP?

It should be noted right away that both programs, although similar in their mission - business automation in unified system, however, they have a number of differences that distinguish one from the other. Here, the choice already depends on the goals of automation, features management accounting and organizational structures companies (whether simple enterprises without divisions, holding structures or groups of companies).

Mainly, both programs differ from each other in the implemented functionality. If a possible maximum is initially introduced into the SCP, then the ERP functionality can be configured in the process of direct implementation of the program to the enterprise. Those. setting up 1C: UPP is the implementation of the program immediately with the maximum possible functionality, and the implementation of 1C: ERP is a whole process that is setting up the program for the specifics of your business and equipping it with those functions that may be needed to reflect the business processes taking place be in your company. Let's summarize again that even the 1.3 edition of the UPS does not have the features that the erp modules have. Yes, the SCP is equipped with a universal set of functions that can be used immediately without unnecessary settings, but also a lot of extra functions that may not be needed at all in the process of enterprise management.

In addition, new subsystems have been implemented in the 1C: ERP program, similar functionality of which in 1C: SCP is scattered across different sections. For example, the Marketing and Planning subsystem in ERP is implemented with the maximum consideration of all the needs that may arise during the work of the department. There is no such section in the SCP, and such functions are scattered over several sections. Some functions are found in Purchasing, some in Sales, Planning or Production, which is extremely inconvenient and inefficient.

Also in ERP, the Sales section has been improved, which includes the functionality implemented in the SCP and combines the functions of other similar sections of the SCP. In addition to the PPM functionality, additional features have been introduced in ERP that greatly facilitate the work of sales department specialists. For example, in ERP, you can manage sales representatives, work with claims, and so on.

A significant distinguishing feature of 1C: ERP is also the fact of a dedicated Warehouse section. In 1C: UPP warehouse functions are scattered across different sections, which, firstly, is inconvenient, and secondly, often leads to temporary losses when reflecting warehouse tasks.

Plus, the 1C: ERP software solution is equipped with a Budgeting section thought out to the smallest detail. It introduces flexible and useful features that allow you to create and manage the actual data of each individual subsystem. Such accounting for 1C: SCP is a longer, laborious and confusing process. Users who know all the nuances of the business processes of their enterprise and reflect them in the program will appreciate the functionality of the section at its true worth - it is simple, convenient and comprehensive.

In general, I would like to note that both programs, of course, each have their own advantages. It all depends on the goals of automation and the structure of the business to be automated. If this is a simple production that does not require special functions in control, then most likely it can be automated using the SCP program. If the business has a complex holding structure, then ERP work is needed here, which takes into account the best domestic and world experience in automating complex high-level production. As a matter of fact, the whole concept of erp is based on covering all business processes in the enterprise as much as possible, linking them in one system that operates in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation.
