The musical beats for the nominees' exit were cheerful and beautiful, the jokes of the presenters were ridiculous, and the visual design of the stage was beyond praise. You watch how the image spreads across the multilevel screens, but in your head there is only one thought: "How far has the technique reached ..."



The expert council, which consisted of event industry gurus and media people, had to work hard to watch about 200 events and select the best ones. Jack Morton (1910–2004) was an event marketing pioneer who founded Jack Morton Productions in 1939 in Washington, DC. He was the first to invent and implement a real "corporate event", and also brought them into fashion. Jack Morton Worldwide hosted the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the Athens Summer Olympics in 2004, becoming the first non-national commercial organizationinvited for a similar contract.
