"BIT.Finance" today is a solution for automating financial management, which was used by more than 1.7 thousand companies in Russia, Kazakhstan and Ukraine. Victor Aglichev, the project manager of the First BIT company, talks about how BIT.Finance came into being and its features.

In 2004, when we just started working, in the course of projects we introduced the Budgeting subsystems in the 1C: UPP product. As a rule, such projects lasted 4-6 months, their costs amounted to several million, and at the same time, the product's capabilities did not fully meet the client's needs. For example, clients often had a need to enter data into the system in MS Excel, but they did not have enough analytical budgeting reserves to switch from plan-fact analysis to the primary document in accounting.

This prompted me and my colleague Mikhail Zyubin, head of the development group, in the crisis year of 2008 to create our own product on the 1C: Enterprise 8 platform, which would meet the needs of large and medium-sized businesses in terms of running financial accounting... The 2008 crisis was a liquidity crisis, and many companies that had not previously experienced funding problems began looking for tools to plan and control company finances. In April 2009 we have already made the first sale, according to the results of 2009 there were 70 sales in total.

Initially, our main competitor was Intalev, but I think they did not prioritize user friendliness on the product side, and their chart of accounts methodology was not always suitable for customers. At the same time, they had a strong brand and good experience in consulting. Today there are 14 competing products on the market, but only we have such a wealth of experience in implementing products in various industries. And we always improve our product based on the experience of our employees and customers.

I can single out 5 basic principles that guide us in creating and improving BIT.Finance:

  • seamless integration with 1C accounting systems.

All updates are released regularly, once every two months. If we talk about the latest update, then I would note the following:

  • the mechanism of indicator panels / KPI is transferred to the use of HTML5 technology, which provides display of indicators in a thick, thin and WEB client;
  • developed and released a mobile application;
  • integration with the solution of 1C: Trade Management 11 was performed.

At the moment 15 professionals are working on the product. These include developers, analysts, testers, customer support, and a marketer. Thanks to this team, 1.6 thousand sales have already been made.

What is needed during the project

Also, you most likely already have full-fledged operational accounting (reflection of the financial and economic activities of the enterprise is established), and this accounting is automated using the products 1C -, or. In this article, I am considering the version of the product BIT.FINANCE.Prof - This solution is intended for the formation of budgets: planning income and expenditure budgets (BDR) and cash flow (BDDS). What is the difference between BDR and BDDS can be seen in the videos below. The price of this version of the product is 150,000 RUB (it's whiter affordable price and only 5 times more expensive than the vendor configuration for 5 users)

When installing an expensive version of the product BIT.FINANCE, management accounting, more subsystems become available IFRS and Consolidation.

In my opinion, there are 2 options for implementing BIT.FINANCE 3.1:

  1. Set the BIT.FINANCE 3.1 configuration in a separate information database from 1C: Enterprise Accounting 8 and configure the exchange between both databases.
  2. Update the configuration of 1C: Enterprise Accounting to the edition of BIT.FINANCE 3.1 and introduce regulated accounting and financial management in one infobase.

At the time of this writing, I have not found good free video tutorials for learning the subsystem of the BIT.FINANCE.Prof edition 3.1 product version. Basically, these are promotional product presentations with beautiful pictures and a lot of "water". Therefore, I recommend downloading the user manual, which details the composition of the capabilities and the procedure for using the configuration.
