There are many different fairy tales in the world
Sad and funny
But we cannot live in the world without them.
Everything can happen in a fairy tale
Our tales are ahead
A fairy tale knocks on the door -
The guest will say: "Come in."
Today we will go on an unusual journey, to the land of fairy tales. A long time ago, people still did not know how to read or write, and they have already told fairy tales. And how loved to listen to them, and not only small children, but also adults. They will gather in the evening at gatherings: logs crackle in the oven, cramped in the hut, everyone is busy with business, who is spinning yarn, who is knitting, who is embroidering, and who is just listening to a fairy tale. The fairy tale has survived to this day, because it has been told from generation to generation, passed from mouth to mouth. Your grandmothers told a fairy tale to your mothers and fathers, your mothers to you, and you already tell your children. This is how a fairy tale came to us from ancient times. What fairy tales do you know? Answers: "Kolobok", "Teremok", "Three Bears", "Geese-Swans", etc. And what kind of fairy tales are these? (Russian folk) Why are they called that? Answers: (Invented and written by the people).
Didactic games "Learn by profile", "Pick heroes for fairy tales" are held.
- Well done!
- Guys, do you have any favorite fairy tales? Answers. Here we will draw the heroes of these fairy tales. Selected heroes of fairy tales (illustrations) are placed on a flannelegraph.
2. The practical part.
Look closely at the heroes of fairy tales and you will see how different they are. The art of portraiture is very ancient. Artists, when painting a portrait, try to convey the character and inner world of the hero. Fairy tale characters can be cunning and trusting, kind and evil. But we are all artists in our own way. Let's draw illustrations for our favorite fairy tales. We must try to convey in the portrait the character of the hero, his specific traits, mood. Don't forget about hair, jewelry, hats. All the little things are important. They also talk about the character of the hero. You have to work very carefully and carefully.
What do you think, what is the end of the fairy tale? Answers (Always happy, good triumphs over evil). Right! Well, now to work.
3. Independent work.
Children draw.
4. Summing up.
After the lesson, the teacher hangs all the drawings in a conspicuous place - the children examine them and tell which fairytale hero they have drawn, discuss the characters of the heroes, what they are.

Children love to listen to fairy tales. They love to retell fairy tales. They love to draw fabulous plots. Brave heroes and fantastic creatures, riddles and adventures are calling the guys in Magic world... The theme “My Favorite Fairy Tale”, which is attractive to children, involves a block of difficult tasks: drawing a figure of a person or an animal, and depicting actions.

Preparation for a drawing lesson on the topic "My Favorite Fairy Tale"

Children of the sixth year of life show diligence and fantasize in art classes. Drawing on the theme "My Favorite Fairy Tale" involves the depiction of animal characters. The children will study the proportions and postures of the human body later. The purpose of the lesson is to convey in the drawing the image and character of the fairytale hero.

Children convey their impressions of the fairy tale they heard in drawings.

Learning tasks are aimed at developing children's artistic skills:

  • Improving drawing techniques:
    • brush: drawing lines, strokes, shapes, shading with a brush tip and drawing details, filling the background,
    • pencil: sketch drawing, shading with different pressure.
  • The development of the ability to find what shapes an object consists of.
  • Teach to draw a composition: taking into account the size of objects.
  • Developing a sense of color: mixing colors, obtaining shades.

V senior group children are given the right to choose materials: paints or pencils

Paints and base for painting

  • Watercolor - for background painting.
  • Gouache - for painting a composition.
  • Felt-tip pens - for outlining the contours of the drawing.
  • Brushes of various thicknesses.
  • Colored pencils, simple - for preliminary sketching.
  • A4 sheet - thick white paper.

Children love markers for their brightness. For her 5th birthday, my daughter was presented with a large suitcase - what colors and shades of felt-tip pens were not in it. The child at home painted only with them. In the summer, she took a suitcase with her to the dacha. And in September, in the classroom, I was upset. Not because there are no markers in the kindergarten, but the hand has lost the habit of drawing with a pencil.

It is permissible to draw with felt-tip pens in kindergarten, but the main focus is on drawing techniques with paints and pencils

Painting techniques

  • Drawing with a simple pencil:
  • Drawing with colored pencils:
    • drawing a sketch with a simple pencil,

  • Painting with paints:

For the lesson “Testicles, simple and golden,” classic drawing techniques can be combined with non-traditional techniques.

  • Painting over the sketch with wax pencils or pastels.
  • The use of monotype in background painting: the printing of paints complements the fantastic atmosphere of the picture.
  • Drawing with unusual tools: cotton swabs, plastic fork, sponge, semolina.

The classic paint pattern can be supplemented with dots, for example, with a cotton swab

Combination with other types of visual activities

The inclusion of sculpting and applique elements in the work helps to attract the attention of children to productive creativity. Pupils of the senior group independently plan how to complete the drawing. For example, lay out the feathers of a firebird with an applique made of colored or foil paper. Interesting idea lay out the pattern on the clothes of the heroes or partially the background with plasticine details.

Children independently choose materials for application among stocks of waste and natural material in the creative corner:

  • cereals and seeds,
  • napkins, cotton balls and discs,
  • beads, rhinestones,
  • pieces of colored paper, wallpaper, magazines.

You can detail the drawing of a fairy-tale hero using a breakaway applique

Differentiation of tasks

The need for multi-level tasks arises when among the pupils the teacher identified children who have high abilities... Talent requires implementation. A gifted student will cope with an ordinary task faster than others and will get bored.

Examples of complicated tasks in the lesson "My favorite fairy tale":

  • Work out the background in detail,
  • draw background objects,
  • draw elements of folk ornament on the hero's costume,
  • draw a scene ("Gingerbread man on the nose of a fox", for example).

Individual tasks for drawing a fairy tale are aimed at maintaining and developing talent

Place of the lesson "My Favorite Fairy Tale" in the drawing file

The theme "My Favorite Fairy Tale" has a wide scope for children's creativity. In kindergarten, it is undesirable to give children free drawing themes. The program for the visual activity of T. S. Komarova includes classes "Fairy-tale houses", " Fairy bird"," Fairy tale "(based on the fairy tale about the fox and the hare). If the topic does not specify the object of drawing, the teacher conducts preliminary work. In the lessons of the NOD, children study folk and author's tales, in the theatrical corner they act out scenes on them, play with figures or masks of characters.

Thus, the lesson "My Favorite Fairy Tale" will become the final work: the children will choose which of the familiar characters to portray.

Without preliminary study / repetition of fairy tales with children, the task "Draw your favorite fairy tale" can put children in a stupor. Alternatively, they will start drawing their favorite characters, but from films and cartoons.

In the theater corner, children act out the plots of fairy tales, get to know the characters better

A creative lesson based on fairy tales can be part of a project activity.

  1. The short-term project involves conducting lessons on GCD and in fine arts, role-playing games and performances based on fairy tales.
  2. The long-term project is being implemented through an in-depth study of the topic ("Russian folk tales about animals", "Tales of A. Pushkin", "Tales of Ch. Perrot"). A trip to a children's theater or a fairy tale museum is organized. Parents are actively involved: they help to sew costumes for staging a fairy tale, make decorations, and design a poster.

The final event of the project based on fairy tales may be an exhibition of drawings

In the older group, children should be encouraged to engage in collective activities. The guys can compose plot compositions from several characters and with a rich background. The first lesson on fairy tales is devoted to the individual drawing of fairy tale characters. In the second lesson, the guys are engaged in composition.

Children are invited to independently think over the sequence of work, distribute tasks among themselves. The teacher directs the plan in the right direction, prompts.

Pupils of the senior group actively interact with each other and create together

A collective drawing composition is created in several stages:

  • tinting the paper base,
  • drawing background objects,
  • consolidation of individual drawings into a plot whole.

Traditionally, a sheet of Whatman paper is taken as the basis. We ask parents to bring the leftover wallpaper to the kindergarten. Children draw on back side roll, the paper does not get wet, but spreads out easier than whatman paper.

Subject composition on the theme "Fairy tales" can be supplemented with elements of application and plasticineography

Summary of the lesson "My Favorite Fairy Tale" in the senior group

Drawing classes in the senior group are held half a day once a week. According to the norms of SanPiN, its duration should not exceed 25 minutes. The main stages of activity are interspersed with physical education, games of low and medium mobility, breathing or psycho-gymnastics. These are health-preserving technologies that help maintain a positive emotional background in the children's team, as well as prevent mental and physical stress.

In a drawing lesson, children should definitely warm up.

Drawing lesson is built according to the scheme:

  • Organizational moment - 1 minute.
  • Information and introductory stage - 4–5 minutes.
  • Practical work:
    • explanation of the assignment, consideration and discussion of the sample - 2-3 minutes,
    • independent work of children - 14-16 minutes.
  • Reflection (showing and discussing works / classes as a whole) - 2 minutes.

Showing and discussing works is an obligatory stage in a drawing lesson

Activities for preschoolers should motivate children to explore, develop skills and show talent. Yes, children love to draw, but their favorite pastime can get boring if it doesn’t fascinate. Therefore, it is recommended to direct the informational and introductory stage of the lesson "My Favorite Fairy Tale" to motivation to create drawings.

Sad but true. Sometimes classes with preschoolers are like a scene from the Soviet film “Stepmother”: “Here's your paint, here's an album for you. At least stand, at least fall! " Remember, the pedagogical task is not only to explain and teach, but also to maintain a steady interest in creativity.

You can get the children interested in the topic of the lesson, for example, by watching a presentation.

Table: examples of motivating start to class

Introductory stage formContent
Exploring the ExhibitionThe teacher prepares an exhibition of decorative objects on the theme "Fairy Tales": figurines, popular prints, clay and wooden toys, illustrations. The guys are looking at the exhibition and answering the questions:
  • What characters did you recognize? What fairy tales are they from?
  • How did the authors of the works manage to convey the character of the heroes?
  • Who did you like the most?
Conversation "Heroes of fairy tales - what are they?"The children are invited to remember their favorite fairy tales and answer the questions:
  • Who are your favorite characters?
  • What is their character?
  • How do you imagine their appearance?
  • What attributes correspond to heroes?
Viewing or listening to a fairy tale (fragment)Pupils can show children an excerpt of a fairy tale preparatory group or members of a theater group. It is good to show the plot of a fairy tale in a concise form in the form of a presentation or video.
Problem situationComes to visit the guys fairytale hero let's say a bear. He growls and laments: an evil wizard has bewitched their fairy tale and the animals are lost in a mysterious forest (shows a Whatman paper depicting dark trees and an empty house). Children offer solutions to the problem and offer to help the bear - to draw the characters of Teremka.

There are many options for motivating forms. Choose what is interesting to a specific children's audience. There are visuals, audials, kinesthetics among children. Combine various types of presentation materials. Some will be interested in colorful pictures, others will listen carefully musical tale... And someone, like my daughter, wants to touch toys based on a fairy tale and play a scene with them.

The appearance of a fairy-tale character in class awakens interest in children and gives a positive attitude

Video: cartoon based on the fairy tale "Kolobok"

Watching a cartoon can serve as a motivating start to drawing a fairy tale. Tip: look for short modern cartoons, 2-3 minutes long, a short retelling is what you need.

The order of the drawings

Children draw on the theme "My Favorite Fairy Tale" with pencils and paints. In a lesson in the senior group, it is recommended to practice the ability to sketch - classical drawing techniques are based on it.

Stage-by-stage drawing based on the fairy tale by V. G. Suteev "A sack of apples"

  1. Drawing a pencil sketch: the head and body of a hare in the form of geometric shapes.

Sketching develops thinking: the child sees the shapes inside the object

  2. Hatching within paths.

Remind the children to keep the hatching lines in the same direction.

  3. Feathering. An optional step, but children should familiarize themselves with this drawing technique.

In order for the work to be neat, when shading, you must not go beyond the boundaries of the image with your finger.

  4. Drawing outlines and small details. The same simple pencil is used, but you need to draw with increased pressure.

The ability to determine the required degree of pressure on the pencil comes with time, training is important

  5. Drawing details: ears, face.

The bunny is a positive character in a fairy tale, therefore his face is kind

  6. Drawing an attribute of a character. This can be a challenging task for gifted children.

In the finished drawing, the bunny is depicted with a sack of apples for his relatives

Stage-by-stage drawing based on the fairy tale "Gray Neck" by D. N. Mamin-Sibiryak

  1. A pencil sketch can be done for a figure in motion. For example, Gray Neck flapped her wings.

To sketch a figure in motion, a figurine should be in front of the child's eyes in a similar position, or he himself tries to take this position

  2. Painting with colored pencils. The direction of the hatching changes on different parts of the object.

You need to paint over with colored pencils very carefully: do not erase the excess behind the contour with an eraser

  3. Stroke with simple or black pencil, add small details (feathers, eyes).

Have the children trace the drawing with a pencil to practice pressure.

  4. Secondary objects are drawn with colored pencils. For example, a pond, a reed, a shore.

Colored pencils are great material for creating a fabulous illustration.

Phased drawing based on the fairy tale "Kolobok"

  1. Watercolor toning of paper - in one color.

It is fashionable to tint paper with both a brush and a sponge - offer your child a choice of tools

  2. The designation of the earth and the sky on the sheet is to draw wide stripes or to print using the monotype technique on raw watercolors.

Details are drawn with a thin brush

Stage-by-stage drawing based on the tale "The Turnip"

  1. The designation on the paper of the horizon line. Fill the background - heaven and earth. The teacher shows by example landscape photos that the composition is successfully built, where the strip of earth is already heavenly space.

The guys will have to think about whether Turnip is the main character of the fairy tale

  2. Drawing an animal character from a fairy tale: a dog, a cat or a mouse.

You can individualize the task: by choosing a character and the ability to draw his attribute. For example, for a bug - a booth, a cat - a bowl of milk, a mouse - a spikelet.

Thus, a turnip is a mandatory object for a fabulous composition, but it can be located in the background.

Photo gallery: examples of finished works

Pencil drawings are not easy for children, but they look amazing Drawing on the fairy tale "Three Bears" develops a sense of proportion in children: bears of different sizes Draw an illustration for a fairy tale - a complicated task Work for an exhibition or competition: there is a background, background and details Children of the sixth year of life are keen on detailing the background. Drawing characters of people or "humanized" animals can be organized using stencils

Video: "Drawing with Pavlik Kolobok from a fairy tale"

This video is a visual demonstration of how a child learns to reproduce a sample. An adult shows geometric shapes and ideal elements. The child turns out similar, but not so smoothly and neatly. Remember, children need to be praised for their efforts. Their drawings will never be like diagrams and samples. But they will definitely be unique and inimitable.

Photo gallery: drawings in non-traditional techniques

For a drawing based on the fairy tale "Kolobok", the technique of finger painting and application with semolina were used. Drawing "Geese-swans" was drawn with palms and fingers.

"The Bremen Town Musicians" by the Brothers Grimm, "Good with Friends!"

“I have a big family - mom, dad, me and three younger sisters- Dasha, Ira and Glasha. With Dasha, we often play and come up with different stories, and Ira and Glasha are still small. I am studying at a boarding school. Adults read to us a lot, we ourselves also read books. We also love to watch old fairy tales, films and cartoons on TV. I drew a drawing for my favorite fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm, The Musicians of Bremen. I also want to have loyal friends and travel around the world with them. "

Artyom's class teacher Yubko Larisa Vladimirovna, Luga special (correctional) general education boarding school:

“This wonderful, cheerful little man is called Arina Nalitova. She's 7. She studies in the 1st grade. Loves to draw. The drawing is based on Russian folk tales.

Thank you for the opportunity to participate in the competition! "

"The Magic Mirror" based on the tale of IV Vachkov "The Tale of the Magic Mirror"

"Let's get acquainted! My name is Yulia, I am in 8th grade, and from early childhood I love to draw. My family is small, but very friendly and creative. We love to take part in various competitions. Last year, as a family, we took part and won the Easter souvenir competition. Dad made eggs out of wood, and my mother and I painted them. We also love to travel with the whole family. This gives us great joy. We especially liked the trip to Gorny Altai.

And a few more words about why I chose this tale. This is a fairy tale about a girl who received three mirrors as a gift: in one she saw herself as she imagined herself, in the other - as other people saw her. And the third was a reflection of who you really are. The fairy tale made me think about who and what I should be in life and how others see me. "
