Pattaya shopping malls. Pattaya shops and markets. Hypermarket Tesco Lotus - Tesco Lotus

A large shopping and entertainment center in a four-story building, which occupies a fairly large area - between Beach Road and Second Road, along Soi 13/2 and Soi 13/3 lanes. You will never pass by Royal Garden Plaza walking along Second Street and knowing its distinctive feature. The building is easily recognizable by its original main façade with an airplane sticking out of it. By the way, this facade has long become one of the symbols of Pattaya, so almost every tourist who visits the resort has a photo against the background of a red plane. On the Beach Road side, the façade is more modest, with the undulating name of the mall and KFC and McDonalds restaurants on either side of the entrance.

During the daytime, a great landmark of this Pattaya mall is balloon, which will lift you above the city just from the roof of the Royal Garden Plaza for only 1000 baht. By the way, you can often see the balloon rising above the center with the help of number 2. Inside the mall, you can find a large number of clothing and footwear stores, including boutiques of famous brands, a beauty salon, jewelry and cosmetics stores, a second-hand book department and a department electronic goods... If we talk about the cost of clothes and shoes, then it is slightly higher than the average for the city, however, it is always possible to find something at a good price, especially during the sales period.

On the third floor of the shopping center there is a department inexpensive clothing... Of course, there is no need to talk about the presence of branded items in it, but many may be attracted by the fact that prices there start at 80 baht for simple clothes of good quality. There you can also find a watch department, where "branded" watches can be bought for 100-150 baht. Whether you need them or not, decide for yourself. Personally, I didn’t take it (I don’t wear a watch at all in recent years), but some acquaintances bought it and are still happy.

It was not in vain that I wrote that it was not just a shopping center, but a shopping and entertainment center. That is why I recommend visiting it to all those who adore all kinds of attractions and thrilling adventures. On the ground floor, children can be pleased with living statues, which, when receiving a bill into their piggy bank, begin to actively move, then to freeze again until a new reward is received. There is also an original fountain on the ground floor, next to which you can take a break while the children run under the jets.

However, the third floor of this shopping center in Pattaya is more interesting, where the famous museum of Mr. Ripley's strange things "Believe It or Not" and the World of entertainment, consisting of six modern attractions, are located, visiting some of them, I would not recommend only small and too impressionable children. There are two fear rooms, a mirror labyrinth, a wax museum, a 4D cinema and the newest of the "Scream in the Dark" attractions - moving in a two-seater car through the labyrinths with evil spirits crawling out and shooting the last of laser blasters.

By the way, the name of the attraction is not accidental: special equipment gives bonuses not only for hitting targets, but also for your shout... In short, all children (and many adults) will be delighted. For the museum and all the attractions you will have to pay 1200 baht per person. The museum alone will cost half that amount. By the way, when visiting the entertainment part of the Royal Garden Plaza with a family, you can use the services of local travel agencies, because in this case you can save a lot (like a ticket for everything will cost 900 baht plus free transport).

The Madame Tussauds Wax Museum, opened in a shopping center, became the first of its kind in Thailand and is very popular with both tourists and locals, for whom this is the only opportunity to take pictures with celebrities. There are popular Hollywood singers and actors, representatives of the British royal family, modern politicians of the plague class, heroes of horror and comedy films, superheroes from films based on famous comics. By the way, some of the wax figures are displayed right in the corridors of the Royal Garden Plaza. For example, this is how I took a picture with "Mr. Bean".

The entire fourth floor of the Pattaya Royal Garden Plaza shopping center is dedicated to the catering area. Personally, I liked the Food Wave food court most of all - many restaurants of various cuisines (Chinese, Italian, Russian, Thai, Vietnamese, etc.) in one huge hall. At the entrance, you are given a special card with which you pick up food where you like it best. Ready meals are on display, so there is no need to study the menu - you just show what you want to eat, present your card and wait for your order to be brought to your table.

The cost is slightly higher than in Thai establishments. For example, a serving of French fries, fried fish and a large glass of draft beer will cost around 300 baht. If you want to order a seafood, it will be a little more expensive. You need to order beer at a separate counter in the center of the hall, it will be brought to you at the table. By the way, you can eat both inside the food court and on the outdoor terrace. When leaving the establishment, give the card to the cashier and pay for what you have eaten and drunk + a small service fee (like 10%).

For me personally, Royal Garden Plaza is still the best and most visited shopping center in Pattaya due to its convenient location and personal memories associated with this place. Yes, I forgot to write: there are free toilets in the center, so if you walk along Beach Street in the evening and drink excellent Thai beer, it is always convenient to run in for a minute and use the service.

If you came to the center not by, but by your own (rented) car, there is an underground parking under the center on the Second Street side. Working hours Royal Garden Plaza from 11-00 in the morning to 23-00 in the evening, while after 22-00 there are unexpectedly few visitors in the shopping center even in the high tourist season, given its rather large area and a considerable number of shops.

All shops in Pattaya offer a huge assortment, you will definitely not go hungry or suffer from lack of familiar products during your vacation. Usually they sell Thai-made goods, but there are also foreign ones, mainly from Germany, Australia, China, USA and Great Britain. on imported goods quite expensive, all the fault of the protective customs duties. The policy of the Thai government is not to depend on imported food suppliers, and rightly so - that's something, and food must be produced only in its own country, and not purchased abroad.

There are several of the largest supermarket chains in Thailand - Tesco Lotus, Big C, Macro, Tops. Literally in every city there are several supermarkets, large and smaller, represented by these chains.

What's interesting is that supermarkets are often located next to each other. Recently, small Tops supermarkets have been actively developing. They are larger in area than and, but at the same time offer a larger assortment than the above-mentioned chains. Smaller versions of Big C and Tesco Lotus, which are called Mini and Express, also received great development. They only sell food, vegetables, fruits and basic necessities such as soaps, razors, gels, washcloths.

So, the main department stores and grocery stores in Pattaya.

Tesco Lotus

It is part of the chain of the English retail giant Tesco and is one of the largest hypermarkets in Pattaya, and the Tesco chain itself is largest network in Thailand.

It is presented in two places in the city, and due to its unfortunate location it is not popular among tourists (one on Severnaya Street, 5-7 minutes walk from the dolphin ring, the other on Sukhumvit), mostly Thais. Both hypermarkets are open from 8:00 to 23:00, where you can always buy fresh food, as well as a snack in the food court. In addition, there is a large selection of inexpensive non-food products- telephones, televisions, household appliances, clothes, shoes, pet food and many others. The building also has bank offices with ATMs and currency exchange offices.

More about.

Foodmart

Foodmart is a small store in Pattaya, which does not represent anything special, except that it is in special demand among Russian tourists. And all thanks to the fact that this is the only place near the beaches of Jomtien and Pratumnak where you can buy kefir, sour cream, real black bread (and not gray, as in other supermarkets), kvass and dumplings, which are made by Russians who live permanently in Thailand. It is clear that, apart from Russians, no one buys these products. The prices are very expensive.

Foodmart is located near the beach, at the intersection of Tappraya and Teprazit Streets, opposite the bus stop to Suvarnabhumi Airport.

Central Food Hall

The most elegant store. It is located in a shopping center. In fact, this store is part of the Tops trade group (more about it below), just in the Festival shopping centers it has a different name.

There is a huge range of products from all over the world, you can even find carbonated mineral water, which is very rare in Thailand (water is full without gases). Also, high-quality seafood, fresh meat, sausages, a large selection of cheeses, fruits and vegetables are always on sale. However, prices are significantly higher than in other supermarkets.

Opening hours: 10: 00-23: 00.

Tops

Not the most popular store, and if not for its good location, it would hardly have many customers. And all because the prices are not cheap. Located in South Pattaya on the basement floor. Opening hours: 9-22.

One more large store located behind Sukhumvit, on Boonsampan street. The exact address is 9/9 Moo 10 Tambon Nong Prue Amphoe Bang Lamung Chonburi 20150. But since there are fewer foreigners living there than next to the first store, it is mostly locals who go there.

In addition, there are several small shops called Tops Daily.

In Tops, you can buy vegetables, fruits and many other products, which are in a larger assortment (and cheaper) in Big C and Tesco Lotus.

Villa Market

A store with a large assortment of imported products, a distinctive feature of which is that a large number of organic products as well as fresh fruits, vegetables, breads and pastries.

Quite an expensive place if you want to buy fruits or vegetables. But for everything else, prices are only slightly higher than in Big C or Lotus (dairy products, oatmeal). Located on Second Street, in a shopping and entertainment center.

Shopping centers in Pattaya are located literally on every corner. True, we will talk about the central districts of the city. It is in them that the bulk of tourists are concentrated.

Is one of my favorite pastimes. In stores, people from all over the world leave a lot of money. We advise you not to go shopping immediately upon arrival, but to do it at the end of your vacation. When it is already clear how much money is left. Otherwise, you have a chance to spend all the money on sometimes unnecessary things, but on real life nothing will remain.

Shopping centers in Pattaya

We will show you where shopping centers on the map so you can find them easily.

Central Festival

Shopping center "Central Festival" in Pattaya is very close to the beach. Between 2nd Rd and Beach Rd, along 9 Alley. Open from 11 am to 11 pm.

Huge 6-storey shopping mall, one of the network that is scattered throughout the major resorts in Thailand. You can buy almost everything here. Most of the stores belong to well-known world brands. Therefore, the product is of high quality, but the prices are also rather high. However, they are still somewhat lower than in Russia and Europe.

This is a shopaholic's paradise. Plus, it has a very comfortable atmosphere compared to the street. If you are tired of the heat, want to have a snack, look at people and impressive pictures, this is the place for you. "Central Festival" it is not only a shopping destination.

It hosts fun activities for children and adults. You can stay here all day and never get bored.

Shops are located from 0 to 4 floors. Sold: clothes, shoes, accessories, cosmetics and perfumes, baby products, gadgets and souvenirs. Everything is in the middle price segment.

3-4 floors offer goods and services for beauty and health. In addition to cosmetic malls, here you will find pharmacies, beauty salons, a plastic surgery clinic (just to be sure). There are also ATMs of major Thai banks.

5-6 floors are given over to entertainment. Starting from the feast of the belly in the form of dozens of restaurants of varied cuisine. Ending in cinemas, bowling alleys, billiards, a laugh room, arcade machines and more.

Fast food restaurants will also meet you at level 0, right at the entrance. 1st floor is rich food products... They are all collected in the supermarket "Big C"... Here you can buy what you will not find in other stores in Thailand - elite and expensive.

The shopping center has its own parking lot for bikes and cars.

If you want to save money, then there are 3 ways for you:

  • stock

The complex constantly hosts discount promotions... Watch this. But this option is more suitable for long-term residents in Pattaya.

  • discount cards

Discount cards can be purchased on the 1st floor. They give a 5% discount on all purchases. Which is pretty good if you've spent a lot.
possibility of tax refund in the amount of 7%

To do this, in the store where you bought, you need to take an invoice. This scheme is only suitable if you spent at least 2,000 per day, and the total amount of purchases was from 5,000 baht.

All Vat-Refund invoices at the airport must be presented upon departure. You may also be asked to show purchased items, so do not put them in your luggage.

Harbor

Shopping center Harbor in Pattaya is located on Central Pattaya Rd. If you drive along the Sukhumvit highway to the south / north, then it will be on the right side almost immediately after turning right / left (towards the sea).

Young women of fashion won't like it here. It is better to come here with children or friends. Complex more "Sharpened" for entertainment and sale of gadgets. The photo shows the approximate location of shops and entertainment venues. But we are confident that over time they will change depending on the interests of buyers. After all, this is one of the new shopping centers.

On the ground floor, you can buy a car, play with robots, and dig out a dinosaur. The last two points are of course suitable for children. The first floor is given over to shops for children's goods, sportswear, restaurants fast food, coffee shops, donuts and other goodies and a large food supermarket.

The second floor is almost entirely occupied by the food court. In contrast to the first one, the food here is more substantial. Each restaurant has its own cuisine. There is even an ice restaurant. We hope it won't melt by your arrival.

The third-fourth will please the fans modern technologies... Here you can buy everything - from USB sticks to electric bicycles.

The two upper floors are occupied by entertainment for children and adults, and food. Game machines, carousels, children's rooms and even a special educational and entertainment complex for children Kidzona.

If you are looking for clothes, shoes, cosmetics, perfumery - choose "Central Festival".

King power

Not far from "Harbor" there is another shopping center - King Power... It is very different from the previous two. This is Duty Free. All purchases can be purchased only with a passport and air ticket. Also, right here you can apply for a 7% tax refund.

At first glance, a strange system operates here. Our compatriots do not like her very much. Therefore, there are few buyers in comparison with other shopping centers. But what if you like it?

At the time of purchase, you can pick up only those products on which the blue price tag hangs. Everything else you will receive at the time of departure at the airport. On the one hand, this is strange and unusual. On the other hand, you do not have to carry unnecessary weight with you. You simply collect your belongings at the Vat Refund on departure. It is for these things that the tax will be returned to you in King Power... And those with blue labels, you will have to additionally present at the airport. The tax refund will be made there, if there are invoices.

The assortment of the shopping center is similar to the duty-free zone of the airport. Although some claim that there are other shops in Suvarnabhumi. If you want - check. Prices are higher than other Pattaya stores.

Royal Garden Plaza

Located close to the beach, in the square between Beach Rd and Second Rd, and between 13 alleys. Judging by the reviews, the prices here are rather big.

But it's worth looking at. The facade is designed in the form of an airplane crashing into the building of the center. On the first floor - food, on the second - shopping, on the third - entertainment.

Tukcom Pattaya

Located on South Pattaya Rd within walking distance of the beach. This is a popular complex for lovers of all kinds of technology.

But you have to be careful not to be low prices - these are Chinese fakes. High-quality equipment is expensive. They sell both here. Make no mistake!

Golden choice

This mall is perfect for those looking for authentic Thai souvenirs. Silk, cosmetics, reptile skin products, various handicrafts. Prices are more expensive than market prices, but you can find something suitable. And the quality is better.

Located at 9 Moo Street, Nongprue. Open from 9 am to 6 pm.

Home Works

As the name implies, the preference here is given to household goods. There are few tourists in it, but the locals love it. This means that the prices will be real. Of course household appliances and you won't take furniture to Russia. But it's worth looking for cute household items.

Located near the intersection of Sukhumvit Rd and South Rd. Open from 9 am to 10 pm.

We have listed just a few of the dozens of shopping malls in Pattaya. Walking along the central streets of this city, you will surely find something that you will like.

Happy shopping!

Pattaya has a ton of places to go for a full shopping experience. Here, on the coast of the Gulf of Thailand, a whole shopping industry is located, satisfying desires with its various proposals. This article provides descriptions of the main shopping malls and shops in the city.

Tesco lotus

There are several large Tesco Lotus hypermarkets in Pattaya. One of them is located in North Pattaya. To get to it, you just need to go from the side of the "ring" with dolphins strictly to the east. Another one is located in South Pattaya along Sukhumvit Road. The assortment in these hypermarkets is much more diverse and of higher quality than in our Auchan and Metro. This is especially true for cheap clothing. They also have a wonderful food court with delicious food according to low prices.

One of the BIG C supermarkets can be found on 2nd Road, the second is located at the intersection of Sukhumvit and South streets. The market, which is located in the north, is also called the Old by the locals, and the one that is built in the southeast of the city - New. The old one looks like a huge covered bazaar with a supermarket. All the food courts in it are located on the ground floor - both restaurants and simple cafes. In addition, this market contains many shops with clothing, electronics, sports goods, perfumes, books and other goods. You can also use the good fast food area after shopping. In local cafes you can find almost any cuisine of the peoples of the world. The shops here often do sales for denim clothes and shoes. Silver can also be purchased relatively inexpensively. You can use Western Union transfers, whose office is located on the second floor of the building. The top floor houses a modern cinema hall. New BIG C is a much larger shopping center than Old.

Hypermarket Carrefour

The Carrefour hypermarket is located on Central Pattaya, just east of Tops. If you walk from Walking Street along 2nd Road in a northern direction, then at the intersection with st. Turn right for Central Pattaya. Carrefour is a fairly new market with a food court on the ground floor. It houses most of the chain restaurants, such as Fuji with Japanese cuisine, MK with the "cook it yourself" system, the popular KFC, and so on. The second floor is occupied by a supermarket and a large store with household goods. There are also clothing stores, gift shops, dry goods and beauty salons. This shopping complex has a system of constant sales.

Hypermarket Cash & Carry - Siam Makro (Macro)

This hypermarket in Pattaya was opened quite recently and operates on a system similar to METRO. A customer card is needed, but if it is not available, the sale of goods at the checkout will be carried out using a temporary card.

Central Festival Pattaya

Central Festival Pattaya is a large shopping mall located on seven floors and opened in 2009. It is one of the largest shopping malls built in Asian resorts. This is a seven-story paradise for shopaholics, as it is full of different stores with global brands (Guess, Topshop, MNG, Zara, Miss Sixty, Next, FCUK, Promod, Castro, Jim Thompson, Swarovski, Villian SF, XOXO, Levi's, Giordano, BYSI, French Connection, etc.) and local goods. There is a high probability of getting to the next sale of branded clothes, which can be bought at ridiculous prices during the discount season. After a busy day of shopping, you can relax in one of the local restaurants or cafes. There are also entertainment areas - bowling, massage parlors, tourist center, cinema, gym... The food court will delight you with several dozen establishments where you can choose food for every taste. It is very easy to get to the shopping center - drive up to Soi 9, Pattaya Beach Road. You can also enter from the side of the View Talay shopping center, which is on the 2nd Road. The entrances can be seen from afar due to the huge number of cars stopping there.

Outlet mall

Outlet Mall is a shopping complex that consists of discount stores. Anyone who loves shopping will find for themselves a large number of quality clothing at very low prices. There are many shops with children's clothing, footwear and sports goods from various manufacturers. The complex is divided into three zones - women's, men's and sports goods. Outlet Mall is very similar in structure and range of products to our MEGA centers, where you can buy Levi’s, Naf-Naf, Olsen, Colin’s, Reebok, Adidas and others.

Mike shopping mall

This shopping center is located between Soi11 and Soi12 on st. Beach Road. The other entrance to the center is from 2nd Road. The shopping center resembles a huge covered bazaar with many shops. Shopping in such a shopping center will be quite long. The ground floor of the center accommodates many shops with souvenirs, clothing and other inexpensive items. The second floor is occupied by a supermarket, and the fifth is filled with food courts. On the tenth floor of the center, you can visit the public swimming pool (on the roof of the building). The center is open from 11.00 to 23.00.

Lukdod is a huge gift shop. Buyers are taken here free of charge by special buses, which are called by phone on the basis of Taxi. The choice is huge, there is a system of discounts when buying a certain number of goods. You can pay by card. Can be done good shopping in line with national souvenirs: items made of bronze, leather, wood; silk, wooden furniture, dishes in national style and many other goods. Among tourists, the opinion is that Thais buy a souvenir in Lukdod and sell it to tourists in their souvenir shops. Of course, in the vicinity of Lukdod there are many souvenir shops that also successfully sell souvenirs and other products at the same or even lower prices. The store is open from 9:00 to 18:30.

In this shopping center, you can buy almost any new items in the world of electronics and all kinds of gadgets. The center is located in a five-story building, the basement of which is grocery store Tops. On the first floor of TukCom there are departments with related products. The second floor is occupied mainly mobile phones... The third floor is reserved for computers, components, accessories, photographic goods, players, and so on. The main part of the fourth floor is occupied by display cases with computer disks and DVDs. The fifth floor is occupied by computers. If we compare TukCom with similar shopping centers in Bangkok - IT Mall Fortune and Pantip Plaza, then in TukCom the choice is much more modest. Pattaya prices are usually slightly higher, but if there is no need to purchase special equipment or gadgets, then you do not need to go to Bangkok.

Shopping malls in Pattaya are suitable places to shop and indulge in unforgettable entertainment. It is better to come here at the end of your vacation, when you want to spend the remaining money.

Central Festival Pattaya

The most popular and largest shopping center not only in Pattaya, but in the entire district is located at the intersection of Second Road and Beach Road, near Soi 9, just a hundred meters from the sea (see the exact location at the end of the article). The huge building impresses with its color even from the outside, but as soon as a tourist enters the Central Festival, an incredible sight appears.

On the ground floor there is clothing and cosmetics of famous brands... Swarovski, Armani, Topman, Lacoste, Zara, Adidas, Mango, Nike, Pierre Cardin, Giordano, Calvin Klein - the list of fashion brands is endless. On the second floor, shoppers will find a lot of interesting sporting goods, and on the third - inexpensive electronics. To exchange currency or relax in the beauty salon, it is worth going up to the fourth floor of the mall. On the fifth floor, there are restaurants and cafes, on the sixth there is a cinema.

Central Festival is a real city for shopping and entertainment. Holidays with children, family or friends will be a success here. Prices here are slightly above average, but this is offset by the time savings, because everything in the mall is close at hand, even the beach is within walking distance.

Opening hours for tourists: 11: 00-23: 00.

The opening hours of the King Power shopping center are from 10:00 to 20:00.

Royal Garden Plaza

Another major shopping center in Pattaya is the Royal Garden Plaza - an institution of unusual architecture and high prices, also known as “ shopping mall with plane". The store is located at the very beginning of Second Road, on Soi 13/1 (see location below). The fuselage of a red plane sticks out of the wall of the building - it is impossible to pass by. It is not clear how the architects got the idea to make such an interesting facade.

The famous plane on the exterior of the Royal Garden Plaza

There is a food court on the ground floor, where you can have a very tasty meal: even the most discerning guests will find a suitable delicacy. On the second floor, there is a shopping corner selling cosmetics, electronics and stylish clothes. Climbing one floor higher, you will find yourself in a fascinating world of entertainment. Tukcom Pattaya

It is known that Thailand is famous not only for quality clothing but also inexpensive electronics. The Tukcom shopping center is proof of this. On the ground floor, Tukcom sells electronics from well-known brands, as well as inexpensive Chinese copies. Above are mobile phones and smartphones. On the third floor - computers, laptops, tablets. On the fourth - discs with games, music, films. And on the fifth, they sell other equipment and electronics.
